I was able to make an appointment with Dr. Yu a few days later he took the time out of his busy schedule to survey the tooth and told me that it was a concussion and to let it heal. I came back a couple weeks later and got some x-rays and thankfully it healed about a month later. I'd appreciate his care and great bedside manner, even my anxiety. I recently came back for a check up and cleaning and I have to admit I got the best cleaning from Cindy. She started with asking me about any concerns I had and I mentioned enamel erosion. Well what I thought was enamel erosion was a lot of tartar on the surface of my teeth and she was able to really scale through all my tartar as well as clean the stains on the bottom of my teeth and make my teeth polished, clean and shiny like a new set of teeth! Also love the front desk staff! They are always so kind and organized. I actually was able to come in earlier due to a cancellation because they had made a note of it late last year!

After taking my X-rays, they carefully explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I also watched a pre-procedure instruction video, which helped me understand what to expect. When I met Dr. Kim, he was professional, clear, and straightforward. He explained my treatment options concisely and also pointed out potential risks related to my other teeth. After discussing everything together, we decided to take a conservative approach -- remove the wisdom teeth first and monitor the other teeth to see if they could recover over time. I really appreciated being involved in the decision-making process. The surgery itself was excellent. It was my first time receiving anesthesia and having teeth extracted, and I can honestly say I felt absolutely no discomfort. Dr. Kim removed both wisdom teeth efficiently and skillfully. (Yes, I could hear the drill and some hammering sounds -- which was a little funny -- but I felt zero pain.) After the procedure, I followed the instructions carefully, took the prescribed medication, and applied ice as recommended. The dentist told me that she saw a shadow in the root of that tooth. She said it was a cavity. She claimed that the only solution was to extract the tooth and do an implant. They just conveniently have an implant specialist in the same office that sees patients once a month. I said sure, I can talk to the specialist and see if it's even necessary to do implant at all. As I was trying to make an appointment with the specialist, I was told that I had to have an MRI for my teeth before I could even see the specialist. And they were really trying to sell the implant to me. At that point, I grew suspicious so I just left. Fast forward, I went to a different dentist with the X-ray that was taken previously. This new dentist said there's nothing wrong with my teeth in the X-ray. Out of precaution, he took a new X-ray for the mobile tooth. Again, nothing wrong. Yep, I was being defrauded. So, do not come here if you don't want to lose a completely perfect tooth and replace it with an implant that you never needed.

I originally went to Dr. Laleh for a veneer consultation. My natural teeth are healthy, and my primary reason for considering veneers was cosmetic--I wanted a level of bright, bleach-white color that I could not achieve naturally. I ultimately agreed to a veneer treatment plan totaling approximately $42,000. During the consultation process, everything moved very quickly. Heather, who handled the financing, made getting approved through their financing partner, Cherry, seem smooth and easy. After getting additional professional opinions, I was advised that because of the condition of my natural teeth, veneers were not recommended simply to achieve a whiter shade. After thinking it over for a few days, I decided that permanently altering my healthy teeth for a whiter smile was not worth $42,000, and I contacted the office to cancel. This is where my experience became extremely frustrating. When I initially tried to cancel, Heather told me it would cost approximately $12,000 because of work that had already been performed. At that point, to my knowledge, the only thing that had been completed was a scan of my teeth as part of the consultation process. No veneers have been placed, and I have received no actual veneer treatment. I later expressed my concerns directly to Dr. Laleh in June. Dr. Laleh told me that Heather was wrong to try to scare me with a $12,000 cancellation fee and that this was not how she runs her business. I appreciated hearing that and expected the issue to finally be resolved. Unfortunately, nearly 90 days later, it still has not been resolved. I have called the office approximately 3-5 times attempting to get this financing canceled. Meanwhile, I am still being charged approximately $550 per month through Cherry despite receiving no veneer treatment. I called again on August 19 and was told Heather would call me back to help resolve the cancellation. Once again, I have not received that call, and the financing has still not been canceled. What concerns me most is not that I changed my mind about veneers. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies and may incur legitimate costs. My concern is that I communicated my decision to cancel months ago, have repeatedly followed up, was personally told by Dr. Laleh that the $12,000 cancellation statement was inappropriate, and yet months later I am still making payments on financing for a treatment I never received. I originally chose to address this privately with the office and gave them multiple opportunities to resolve it. After nearly three months of calls and continued monthly charges, I feel I have exhausted that option. I am sharing my experience here so prospective patients understand the importance of carefully reviewing the financing and cancellation process before signing anything. I also plan to document my experience with Google and the Better Business Bureau if this remains unresolved. I would still welcome Dr. Laleh's office resolving this promptly by completing the cancellation and addressing the financing charges that have continued since I requested to cancel.
