Dr. Lustig and Dr. Bartfeld were rude and it became a stressful event to get my kids to go there. once upon a time there were really great PAs, but they never lasted long in the office. My kids dreaded appointments. I dreaded it. No one felt listened to, and our family felt the condescending attitude, which was uncomfortable because we usually try to be pretty low-maintenance. Was shocked by how Dr. Lustig challenged me when I asked a question about my child's care. There are much kinder/better pediatricians out there. read more

I scheduled appts for both of my children a couple months in advance to get their appts done in the same timeframe, the same day as that makes sense. This location gave my appt away after confirming on the phone with me that my appts still stood and didn't even notify me that they had canceled my first child's appt. Then tried giving me other inconvenient times the same day for my other child like they were doing me a favor and I would have had to go back and forth. I requested numerous times they correct their error and keep my originally scheduled appt time since they messed up, but they refused to do so. I've gone here for years so I think the situation is crappy & completely ridiculous. Be aware if you THINK you have a scheduled appt., they may give your appt away and not even tell you. read more

Incredibly poor experience. Arrived 15 minutes late to appointment and was rudely told by the woman at the front desk 5/21/22 9am that I would need to reschedule, the doctor was to busy and we would put them behind the entire day. We were there for an 18m wellness visit, but we're concerned about my daughter also having an ear infection. Next available appointment isn't until end of June. We will be leaving this practice for a new Dr. I do not recommend. read more

My have seen several Dr./NP/Nurses over the years and we have consistently had great compassionate service. Currently, we see Dr. Selig as our primary and she is phenomenal! The boys respond very well to her and I always feel leaving confident in options/recommendations so I can make informed decisions. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. My kid was seriously ill throwing up high fever. I called for an emergency to get him in. I was told they were booked up. I pleaded with the person at the desk and was told sorry we have only one doctor working. I was sent to an er they recommended and was told no doctor was on duty until 3 hrs. So we waited in the car for 3 hrs with a seriously ill toddler. I think it's time yo find a new practice. read more

Disaster. Town and Country did not get flu shots in on time so we were given a 9 am to 2 pm window of time to get them today...along with every other patient they had. Mass chaos. The nursing staff was stunned, disorganized and panicked. The line was over one hundred people deep and not one nurse knew what to do. We were 20th in line and left after waiting for an hour. Congrats town and country you have lost a patient. This morning was a a black eye for this office. I highly recommend not using town and country! read more

I was with the practice for 18 years and recently changed once they grew too big and the practice was sold. Dr. DiMaggio is the best in the practice and one of the original doctors from the beginning. She is friendly, smart, cares, always accurate diagnosis. Some of the other doctors are good, some not. It is such a large practice you are lucky to see the same doctor twice. Office staff is unfriendly and needs better training on how to welcome patients which is mostly why we changed doctors for my kids. The staff was better when it was a private practice and Judy was in charge, but now they are part of Lurie and not as caring. read more

Love Dr Selig and would highly recommend her for her compassionate, caring and diligent nature. We've seen her for a variety of illnesses and she's always been able to help us, call us back for any questions we ask, etc. I fee we are well taken care of at this practice. read more

The pediatrician we saw was nice enough, but that is the only good thing I can say. First, we show up to our first appointment to find out that the doctor we scheduled with is no longer accepting new patients. I understand that things can change, but why couldn't they have called me before we arrived? Then, they sent us to a hospital for a follow up test, but when we arrived, we learned the hospital doesn't perform that test. After waiting on hold forever to figure out what hospital we could go to, we took our chances and went to the next closest hospital. On the way, we repeatedly received attitude on the phone while we tried to get the information we needed. Then, the hospital we eventually arrived at told us the order from Town and Country didn't make sense, so they had to call the office. It took another 30 minutes for Town and Country to get back to the hospital. When we try to follow up with the doctor, it is next to impossible to actually speak to anyone. While they may have great hours, the administration at this place is atrocious. Beware. read more

Overall I thought the experience was bad at best. My primary concerns with our experience at T&C are the following: abrupt nature of front desk staff (in person and on the phone), the loss (and later finding) of our son's medical records, the relative youth and inexperience of our treating doctor, the obscene price of our 2 month old's wellness appointment (over $1000) for nothing but 3 shots and a cursory physical exam, and the complete incompetence of the billing department. As for the cost of the exam, both the woman at the front desk and my insurance company were astonished at its price --over $1000 for a 2 month old wellness appointment that lasted at the most 30 minutes ?!! Give me a break. The icing on the cake, however, is the remarkable ineptitude of the billing department. The billing department required payment at the end of the 2 month old appointment because I did not have our insurance cards. (they were generous and gave me a 20% discount for full payment -- now it only cost $876!) After talking with my insurance company following the appointment, I called the T&C billing department who said they would file a reimbursement request and send me the money I paid. The appointment was in June, the reimbursement request was made in July, and now at the end of September I am STILL waiting for my reimbursement. I called the billing department this morning only to find out that they have not even started to process my request! Unbelievable. 10/11/10 Update -- continued dismal performance by the billing department. I called the billing department again today. And not surprisingly, they have still not processed my payment or sent me the money they owe me. This is despite the fact that they told me on 9/29 that they would have the check in the mail. 10/18/11 Reviewing my son's medical records and realized that they included medical records of another patient. I removed them and will return them to the doctor's office. I wonder if my son's medical records are with someone else? Nothing would surprise me at this point. I guess you can add the medical records department to the list of T&C ineptitude. 10/21/11 Check arrived. read more

Been with them since they were a newer practice on Clybourn Ave. in Chicago, 1996. Were glad they moved up North when we did. My Opinion: Their doctors were great - now, given how overbooked they are I would say good. HOWEVER, now with the giant practice they have become - I have to say they are slow to respond, bureaucratic, overwhelmed by their practice and understaffed. Makes for painful telephone conversations when you need an appointment or a copy of your child's records etc for school. I would not be able to recommend them at this point - and that's a shame. read more

Town & Country in Glenview is located near the Glenn, which is a trendy and family-oriented area of Glenview. The doctors our children have had are Dr. Fischer & Dr. Hirsch, among others. We appreciate several things about this location: no drama with parking- free and ample. They have after 5pm appointments and Saturday appointments, which are God-sent for us working parents. They always seem to have stickers of all sorts available for our kids after their shots. Their waiting room is always clean and has a section for "sick" only kids which may sound weird but makes a ton of sense when it comes to kids. I get text reminders about my kids' appointments, which I love too. True- some of the people on reception are a bit short in their way of talking, they have made mistakes with us by losing a daycare immunization form and their calendar is weird in the sense they only schedule you 2 months ahead max, otherwise you have to call in. But I don't see those crabby reception people anymore and maybe enough complaining has done some good. Most importantly, the two pediatric doctors who came out to see our children while I was at the hospital were warm, personable and caring. This has made us happy patients there. read more

the doctors are wonderful and explain everything in great detail. All questions are answered with patience and the doctors and nurses are very friendly. Examinations are thorough if not on the conservative side. Referrals that are given are also exceptional. The office is open on Sunday and sick appointments are usually granted in a reasonable timeframe. I recommend this practice. read more
