I don't like writing reviews like this, but here's my experience at this office. If you don't want to read why, and just want my conclusion - I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO HER (dr Bussey) AGAIN. She's adequate, but doesn't stand behind her work/mistakes, at least with me. If you've been to a bad dentist, you know it. If you've been to a great dentist, you know it. She's in the middle. If you are a perfectionist about your teeth, want the most up to date equipment, and an experienced staff, look elsewhere. 1.their equipment is older & uncomfortable - they can't afford the latest technology. 2. the staff is all young girls, with not a lot of experience, several just starting out. 3. they don't do a thorough job of checking your gums, nor do they check your tongue or throat for possible cancer/problems. 4. the guy at the front is pushy, they call/hound you to make sure you're coming. if later you discover some problem with his wife's work (yes, his wife's the dentist), it has to be YOUR FAULT. And make sure they don't over bill you ! 5. THE DENTIST, BUSSEY If all you want is an adequate dentist, read no further, she's it. Me, I"LL NEVER GO TO HER AGAIN. Why? Ruined several teeth. Put the wrong size crown in Won't give a straight answer Refused to stand behind her work. Not the most professional "professional" I've encountered. there's more. but if I repeated some of the statements she made, it could ruin her business, which i don't want to do to a young couple. you don't have to know how to build an engine to know if it runs well. for me, this dental practice didn't run well . you can go and decide for yourself. i'm still deciding whether to file a complaint with the dental board - will keep you posted. read more

I could not be happier with my decision! The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. Scheduling is always a breeze and the office staff will even help you plan your visits to make the most of your employer's dental coverage. I was also extremely impressed by Dr. Bussey's commitment to utilizing proceeds from her cosmetic services to raise funds for the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. They are wonderful all around! Dr Bussey and her staff are awesome!! Due to a bad experience at the dentist awhile back, I am terrified of the dentist. However, Dr Bussey and Jason made me feel very at ease with everything I had done at my appointment. She was constantly asking if I was ok during my procedure. They also have a service dog named Noche who sat with me the whole time. This def. sets my experience apart from anywhere else I have ever been. Jason, the office manager, is also very knowledgeable when it comes to insurance and billing, thus easing my concerns of out of pocket expenses. I would highly recommend Dr Bussey and her staff, especially those terrified of the dentist! read more

Town Dentistry is the BEST! I've lived in many locations and have been to many dentist offices. This one is so nice/clean and the staff is amazing. Jason was so wonderful to help fit me in as I had a chipped tooth and needed to get fixed Monday morning. He was able to squeeze me in right at opening so I could go on with my day. Every time I have been (for emergency and 6 month cleaning) Allison Thompson has been the dentist to take care of me and has just exceeded my expectations. Amazing. Best dentist/office I have ever had and I have moved a lot and tried a lot of dentists. Staff is awesome, welcoming, very considerate and helpful. Office seems very advanced in the world of technology, TVs for each patient while they have their teeth cleaned to keep you occupied. Overall they always seem to have new an great stuff compared to what I have seen at other offices. Once again, best service ever!!! Jason is truly a life-saver and now forever up on the top of my "cool kids" list. I had a 12 year old veneer on my front top tooth (done forever ago elsewhere) break off at 6 pm on a Friday nite. Wow, lovely timing! I called Town Dentistry, knowing full well they were closed for the weekend, but just wanted to leave a message for them to call me first thing Monday am for an appointment. Jason called me within an hour of my message, even offerring to have Dr Bussey meet me at the office on Saturday to put on the temporary until I could get a new veneer. Completely above and beyond service with not only Jason, but every employee I have ever encountered at Town Dentistry. Town Dentistry is a beautiful facility. Comfortable waiting area, good music, comfortable exam chair, headphones and TV if you need to be distracted. The front office staff was very kind and helpful, and answered my questions about self-pay fully and honestly. Sasha cleaned my teeth gently, and she did an excellent job of helping find an option to do some X-rays without increasing the price of self-pay by too much. Dr. Thompson was very professional, gentle, and knowledgeable. She took the time to educate me on a spot that we will be watching and some tips to keep that area clean. I have been coming to Dr. Frodge since around the time Town Dentistry opened years ago, and I have always had a great experience. I had a lot of cavities as a child, and I some bad experiences, so I became bad at keeping up with my routine care when I became an adult, out of fear. I decided I would be better, and when I came to the office for the first time I felt very welcomed and had such a positive experience, that it kept me coming back. The staff is friendly and very positive. I have had to have some old fillings replaced and some work done on new problems, and Dr. Frodge always makes sure that I am comfortable and know what is going on. Sasha and I always have a nice chat during the cleanings. I was also able to get in with an emergency one time, which helped me find relief quickly. Great dentist!!!! Have had multiple crowns and other appointments. They are always friendly, caring, and very gentle. They even make crowns right in the office. So only one visit for crowns now. After my dentist retired, I had to find a new location. A friend recommended Town Dentistry and I'm so happy! Front desk is very well organized and they took care of everything through insurance! NO paying then filing for reimbursement. AMEN! I also had to have a cavity fixed and a new night guard made. Both processes were great, especially the cavity repair as I was nervous, and I felt comfortable enough to bring my kids there. My 11 year old son came out and told me that they had given him a hot towel to wipe his face and hands (as they do for everybody) and he told me that "It was like being in First Class, Mom!" Young staff and dental assistant was not professional; I asked the front desk her name and I believe she said Blake (perhaps that's her last name). I've lived in Atlanta for about three years and have had the hardest time finding a dentist I liked to the point that I stopped going because I disliked it so much. Town Dentistry is exactly what I've been searching for! The office was referred to me by a friend/previous co-worker who is now a Dental Hygienist at Town. I've already had several appointments there and each time I am greeted with a warm welcome and the nicest, most professional staff. The office is beautiful and extremely clean with a great location in Brookhaven. Dr. Bussey and Jason are very personable and treat me like a person rather than just a patient. Decided to try a new dentist closer to my house about 6 months ago. I like to support new operations and liked the location. Unfortunately, the cleaning itself took way too long because the very young hygenist had a hard time working and talking at the same time. Once the dentist came in to review, I was bombarded with problems. I needed bleaching. A crown on one tooth, my gums were receding and needed serious work and all my silver fillings needed immediate attention. I found it all amusing since my dentist of the past 10 years had mentioned only the degredation of my fillings and that they would need to be replaced in 2-3 years. All the folks in there are very nice....but please put the hard sell on products and work to rest. I felt like I was getting work done on my car! read more

Great first experience at a new dentist. I chose this location for its proximity to my home and office, and was really pleased with the care I received. The front desk team is efficient and welcoming, and the hygienist was personable, knowledgeable and did not push additional peripheral services - my previous dental care provider always seemed keen to upsell whitening, bonding, other cosmetic services that were not requested. When medical professionals try to sell services you didn't ask for and don't need, its hard to trust their recommendations. Changing a dentist us like changing the brand of trash bags you use you really don't put much thought into it unless something really bad goes wrong (the bad breaks during a "Dexter" moment and body parts spill all over your front lawn). I've not liked my dentist but since I only see him twice a year I figured why endure the hassle of change. Yesterday the bonding on my front teeth, said dentist had put in two years ago, fell out while eating a salad (I thought that's why rabbits had such strong teeth). I call my dentist and he is unavailable and will not refer as he has 4 offices around Georgia so he doesn't feel the need to refer out. Mind you my family an I have been his clients for ten years and I have a trip on Friday. I tell them this and they are not flexible. I call Town Dentistry as I always see them when I go to Costco or get my mani peck ad they say they have continued eduction Thursday and Friday but they may be able to squeeze me in today. I drop everything and run there. I fill out minimal paperwork and am in a chair, with a dentist within 10 minutes of my arrival. The staff were so shockingly accommodating and friendly-and I was a walk in-I can't imagine how they would treat a regular client. The DDS kept apologizing that she had to split her time between myself and the scheduled patients! My regular dentist always overbooked and never blocked individual time. An hour and a half later my teeth were beautiful again. The staff there took pride in my smile! They did not just want me in and out-they cared that I was happy with the results and that I was comfortable during the procedure. I cannot say thank you enough. As someone that prides themselves in taking excellent care of my teeth, I value a very good dentist. Unfortunately, I too was not pleased with my experience. I knew almost immediately that I would not be going back. This office felt very pretentious from the beginning. My dental hygenist, don't know her name but she was Asian, was not very good. My teeth are sensitive and the electric drill she tried to use to clean was too harsh and hurt. It wasn't until the third time that we had to stop that I insisted she do it the old school way with a regular pick. After that she was uninterested and finished quickly. When I finally met Dr. Bussey, she barely spoke to me. She was very cold in my opinion, didn't inquire much about me or my dental history, she kind of just stared and smile but not very engaging. At the end of the visit, I found Jason to have a know it all attitude and we got into a disagreement over my treatment. Needless to say, one visit was all it took and I knew that I was never going back. read more
