Long story short, I purchased 4 new tires. They broke a lug nut when taking the old tires off and they didn't have the tool to get it off. They ordered the part which took a couple days to come in meanwhile I'm driving with 4 lug nuts. I went back to Amherst location once the tool came in and waited another two hours to get the new tires on. Jumping a few months into the future, I needed the tires rotated so I went to a different location. Good experience at the South Nashua location. They told me to come back in 75 miles to get the lug nuts tighten. They explained to come right in and they will check it right on the spot. I wouldn't have to wait and It would take two minutes. Yesterday, I was in the Amherst area and decided to stop at the Amherst location to have them tighten. They told me it will be a 15 minute wait. I left. read more

I brought my car in to do the winter tire switchover, and Town Fair overfilled the air in my tires to a very dangerous degree, which I discovered when my tire light came on on my way home. They put 57 pounds of pressure in my tires, which are supposed to have 35 pounds of air in them! They put me and other people in danger on the road. Thankfully, I was able to drain the air out of the tires and fix it, but I'm extremely disappointed in this experience, as a long time Town Fair Tire customer. They overbook knowing they don't have enough workers to cover every appointment. They work their employees to the bone and expect them to return the next day with outstanding performance and god forbid if a tire tech needs a five minute break from lifting heavy tires all day. They need to do better and respect their employees and maybe they wouldn't have this issue leaving many customers unhappy. read more

I just purchased top of the line Michelin Tires $1222.40 from the Nashua, NH store. I asked the tire pressure be a certain level. It was explained, they go by the door sticker and would have to change it myself... OK?? When I got home 17miles, I went to check and found someone had neglected to put the valve caps on two of the tires. I called and asked they mail them to me... Ya! Right!... They said to come pick them up myself or go to a closer Town Fair Dealer and they would provide me some... well they are Toyota Factory originals,.. Bluntly That STINKS for service... Had a 12:00pm appointment to replace the four tires on my truck. Upon arriving, I asked the employee how long it would take - I was on my lunch break - and was told 2 hours. I was kind of surprised it would take so long to change four tires, but what did I know. The employee said they would try to have the vehicle ready in less than two hours, no promises. I went to have lunch and came back at 1:45pm but was told the truck was not ready and it would take another 45 minutes, I was not a happy camper. I checked again on the truck 45 minutes later, and was told it was still not ready and it would another 40 minutes (bet you 40 minutes later, it would not have been ready). I told the employee I could not possibly wait for another 40+ minutes or I would lose my job, that instead of lying to customers, they should warn them and tell them to take a vacations day from work. Alignment was supposed to be done and I was forced to drive the truck as is (or I could wait another 40+ minutes and lose my job), that was unpleasant, I thought I was going to lose all four tires. Bottom line: if you want to have your vehicle service at Town Fair Tire on Amherst st. I would advise you to take a vacation day or two. I purchased a wheel and tire package back in June of 2017. After 3 winter storms the high end wheels I purchased rusted and pitted. I drove to town fair and spoke to my salesman Kurt. The paperwork i had said there is a 12 month factory warranty on my wheels so i had high hopes of having them replaced. Kurt spoke to several people and came back telling me that the manufacturer would NOT warranty my wheels because it was my fault for driving on them in winter. Kurt then explained to me that he felt this was not the best representation of town fair so he would be covering full cost of my wheels and asked me to pick a new set out! Lost a star because the wait was suuuuper long. I had a blowout on the highway, and had to be towed in. The staff was amazingly helpful, but I spent the better part of my day there. There were some issues with my car that were caused by a little miscommunication + carelessness but let me tell you that these guys did everything to make it right. I can't even be upset about what happened because the honesty and customer service were PHENOMENAL. Really great prices on the tires too. Have dealt with Town Fair Tire twice at this location and both times the service was great! First was when I hit a curb with a new tire(had just bought a set of 4 elsewhere)they took me in same day and I purchased two new tires,so tread would be the same wear and also had a 4 whl.alignment,so glad that I had alignment as I actually gained 3 miles per gallon. CJ was great and explained the alignment readout.Fast forward to this week,tps monitor showed low air, I checked and front tire had a screw imbedded in it. Took it in and they had me back on the road within an hour,flat repair free and spare tire mounted and balanced at very minimal chge. read more

If you like rude treatment and poor customer service this is the tire store for you. Not to mention deceptive advertising on how they apply their own discount coupons. I had a $10 off coupon that I wanted to apply to the $90 charge to have my snow tires mounted and balanced and they would not honor it. Since having my snow tires put back on, my tire pressure monitor keeps coming on intermittently. When I took my car back in yesterday they told me it was due to the cold weather....funny how it even comes on when its warm. Rude customer service people, long waits even with an appointment. Maybe I am wrong here, but if a customer walks in and tells you they need a front end alignment shouldn't you ask the customer what the vehicle is doing? We took our car up to this store because of a shacking in the front. A friend told us we might need a front end alignment. My son took the car in and told them it needed a front end alignment. (I guess that is where this became our fault not Town Fairs.) But, regardless, it should have been confirmed. They took the car back, did the alignment ($70) then informed my son it was not the alignment that a belt had slipped in the tire. So we had to spend another $90 on a tire. (No not from there!) Updated in response to what I consider an unnecessary and slightly rude post. In regards to Michael P. of Merrimack, NH, the reviewer that posted after me. I believe that a tire place that does only tires, would be able to determine that a belt had slipped in the tire. To quote him: "they don't do repairs, inspections, install parts, or diagnose funny noises. Tire and alignments, that's it" They do tires and alignments, that's it, that is my point! Instead of just taking someone's word, they should have driven the vehicle to determine if it was an alignment issue or not. Since it was a tire issue, I would think, but I'm just a girl, they would have known a belt in a TIRE had slipped. And that comment about funny noises, I find that very offensive. I've been getting my tires from Town Fair since not long after we moved to New Hampshire in 2003, and have been very satisfied with their service. The guys at this shop are knowledgeable and friendly, and while sometimes you can tell they're under pressure from corporate to sell, sell, sell, they have never been pushy, and their prices are competitive - a fact that was driven home when my wife made the mistake of allowing the Honda dealer$$$hip to do a wheel alignment. I just bought a set of Cooper Mastercraft Courser HST Tour tires here today, to replace the original 55,000-mile tires on our Honda Pilot. The trick to getting a really great deal is to do your homework. Town Fair really does "beat the Internet," and if you can show them an online price for the same brand, size, and speed rating plus the shipping costs, they'll do it. And since my printout listed the price of the online shop's road hazard warranty a good bit lower than theirs, they shaved some dollars off of that as well. They wound up about $40 lower per tire than where they started when all was said and done. I'll be having these guys swap out my other car's summer tires (purchased at this Town Fair at a "beat the Internet" price on March 19, 2009 at 97,220 miles) in a few weeks at about 192,000 miles, and it will be the last time for these well-worn Toyo Versado LX tires which have delivered a solid four summer seasons' worth of 2,000 miles a month or more. My winter driving will be on Michelin X-Ice XI2 tires also purchased at Town Fair. And in spring 2013, I'll be back at this Town Fair for another set of summer tires. And as to Kim V.'s experience - it's important to remember that these guys are not auto mechanics: they don't do repairs, inspections, install parts, or diagnose funny noises. I came in to get a replacement for a tire that blew out. I'm relatively new to owning a car and have never had to deal with replacing a tire before so I had no idea what I needed. Nick helped me find an affordable yet durable tire and was both personable and extremely helpful. We did not make an appointment but were in and out within a half hour and then within the next two hours my car was ready to go. Came here about 4weeks ago and the service was great. We had to bring my car in to get my tires fixed because the valve stem was broken and was just leaking out air. They fixed it within half an hour and fixed my tire air detector for free that the place I used to go too was bot able to fix. The guy even gave me a free hubcap since one of them fell off the road. The worst ever! My vehicle has over 300k miles and seen a few sets of tires. Usually I use a small shop in Nashua that specializes with Cooper Tires but chose Town Fair as a recommendation from a friend. What a mistake! My biggest complaint is that they stripped a lug nut on my first visit. When I returned for a routine rotation THEY DID IT TO ANOTHER LUG! Perhaps because I refused the agressive "up-sell" of a $99 alignment which I didn't need. Never again! See below.. Went in to balance and align my vehicle and purchase a new set of tires. During the process, the exhaust pipe on my vehicle broke off due to rust and corrosion. Nathan worked super hard to get me to a mechanic. When the exhaust pipe underneath my car couldn't hold in place, Nathan came with a set of bungee cables to hold the exhaust pipe up so that I could drive to a nearby mechanic. Worst customer service ever! They also do not beat thier competitor's price. I got a set of Generals for $130 less and installed elsewhere. Takes them all day to rotate and fix a slow leak... they need some training from McD's on work flow or something... I use to do this as a career when in my teens... no one sat longer than 35 minutes.... get them in and out. At least have something for people who have no choice but to wait. read more

Brought my new car here in fall for snow tires. Then in spring brought back to switch wheels back. Turns out they installed new lug nuts that required specific key. They didn't give me that when they installed it. Took over an hour and a haft for the to dig through box to find match. So now been 2 hours for a service they said would be an hour. Still not done. they say no beats town fair price. well tire rack did. I got quotes from town tire on Goodyear wrangers + mounting balancing + valve stem. there quotes was $137. I showed them that tirerack has these tire for $65. They insisted they once I add shipping it would cost me $103.. then they said the best they could do is $100 +++.. which put me at $495 . Well I purchase the tire at tire rack for $260 + 20 which is 70 per tire with shipping. I called around and found a another tire place to put the tire on for me. which cost me $80 for mounting balancing and new valve stem. that $360. So by doing my home work I save 135.. so there advertise says. no one beats a town fair price no one is one. what a big false statement. read more

I wish I had a different experience... I've personally heard great things about Town Fair. In particular, I've heard that you cannot beat their pricing. I figured shopping with Town Fair would be my best bet in getting my first set of nice snow tires. Initially, I had an excellent experience when purchasing and mounting my tires. It definitely had the best price and product I could find in southern New Hampshire. They even had one of their drivers stop and pick up my tires in his busy work day, just so I could have them next day. The work was even completed within 1.5 hrs which I was completely impressed with! The customers service rep even took time out of his busy day to help provide education on mounting, alignment, and why these tires were an excellent fit for my vehicle. Then I found a quarter size bulge to the side wall of my tire within 45 days.... Since I was under the 90 day warranty, I figured this would be an easy fix. However, this was not the case. First, I was told that they can't do anything because there were no tires throughout town fair and it's distributors. I was then told that all he could do was give me store credit, put my other tires (that are terrible in snow) on and I need to wait until the fall before I could redeem my credit. After speaking with the manager because I found this unacceptable, they miraculously found a tire for me... I wish I had the same experience as I did with the initial sale. There was absolutely no follow thru when the product failed. They made it clearly evident that finding this tire was an absolute hassle and if I didn't complain I would be left with no product until the following winter. read more
