I worked with Russ who was incredibly knowledgable in explaining the issue with my tire while offering top notch customer service in making sure the work was done quickly. I was surprised at all the free services offered like tire rotation and flat tire patching (though it was $14 to get the computer reset. Still not bad). What I appreciate the most was the screens that tell you how much time is remaining on the job and you can actually watch them work on your car. I was able to also work in the lounge area while I waited. They have wifi and outlets so I was all set for the hour I was there. Overall it was a wonderful experience and would recommend. read more

Deceptive Business Conduct I replaced 4 Michelin tires on my Lexus ES 350 Luxury and requested to keep the 2 undamaged ones (Picture 2). Instead, they skipped the alignment (Picture 1), damaged my sensors (Picture 3), and returned the unusable tires without a word (Picture 4 - the damaged tires still attached to the broken rims were returned) On Jan 16, I went back for them to fix their mistakes and inspect the returned tires and they confirmed the tires were unusable. The manager offered a customer satisfaction credit of $219, (picture 5) or to 'cut a check' verbally, emphasizing his handwritten note was 'equivalent to cash.' I regret not taking the check immediately. When I returned on Jan 31 to apply the credit toward an upgrade, the manager became hostile, blamed my car for the tire issues, unhappy with my previous price matching request, and denied ever offering a check (claiming he lacked the authority). He then enforced a 30-day expiration on the credit that was never previously disclosed, and denied the credit application toward a tire purchase. I chose not to argue further while my vehicle was in their possession, but the lack of integrity at the leadership level is staggering. I hope the Corporate can conduct an internal audit as security footage from Jan 10, 16, and 31 will confirm these contradictory statements and the initial service failures. I cannot tolerate this business conduct and am preparing for the 93A filing. read more

6/9/25 Stopped by Town Fair Tire in Quincy, MA today to see why my Tire Check Lite was on just a few days after I went in to swap my winter tires for my summer tires. It was late in afternoon and I had NO appt. Brian, the ass't manager, had a tech check air pressure and inspect ALL tires for possible leaks. We found the issue, had it repaired, and I was on my way in less than 45 minutes. Brian was extremely helpful and courtesy in resolving my issue. Not sure why this place has under 4 stars...After two other tire shops nearby lacked a good supply of winter tires, I called Town Fair who still had a good supply in December. Ty helped me out and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Not only did he educate me and make sure I got the right tires for my situation, but immediately took my car in and had the new tires on in about an hour! A huge bonus was the AAA discount!! Overall amazing service and I was really impressed with how personable and knowledgeable Ty was. I was going to buy two new tires because I had a flat on two tires which I paid a total of $60.00 to have repaired at "Sullivan Tire & Auto Service". Since I believed this was the second flat on the same tire I was going to buy new tires. It was the worst experience ever with this company, and I wonder about all the positive reviews here and how honest they are! The representatives are rude to the customer, and if they realize you are more knowledgeable about tires, they immediately ignore you. First, when you walk in, you will see only "made in China" tires mean crapTirwes that make more money. They do not care about your customer preferences and choose to try pushing you to buy whatever the corporate told them to sell. If you asked for quality Michelin, Continental, and Bridgestone tires, they are outside the store, and you have to wait at least 24 hours for delivery. Loyalty and customer service is an unknown terminology. Second, the front desk people need to learn the tire compounds, make-up, and other options you can buy to improve your riding quality. Third, after the tire was replaced, the tech flushed it to 42 psi / Another car shop measured it/ instead of 32 psi by the car door sticker. When I complained about a neglected service, the manager became mad and told me I was a liar. I requested other tires, and I need to wait another 24 hours. Because in the store does not exist any quality brand. You have to pay an additional $100 for the warranty. In conclusion, if you are a dummy and careless about your riding quality and safety on the road, that is your tire shop; otherwise, look elsewhere. I recommend Costco's tire shop center for the best service and warranties. read more

This is Ripoff!! They charges $99 for alignment, balance & tire rotation which they couldn't fix/ don't have the right equipment to do so. After waiting 4 hours for alignment , they told me that two rear wheels are frozen and couldn't be fix. They recommended me to go to one of their friend's workshop - Liberty St auto, since their fire torch is not big enough to loosen the bolts. So I went. Ramon (from Liberty St Auto) said it would cost $55 to make it loose. Here's the catch: if he broke the washer/bolts while he's torching it, there would be additional charges. It would be market price from Toyota dealer. So, I decided to go straight to Toyota service center and explained my story to one of the supervisor, Amanda. She gave me $20 discount ($79 total) for everything and it took me 35 minutes. I would suggest to everyone to just take it to the professional. It might cost a little more at dealer service center, but, at least, you wont have to deal with headache like this. read more

I got a flat tire after driving to Quincy, MA yesterday with my pets for food and was referred to this tire center. Mel asked me if I had an appointment and I told him no. I told him I was referred to this store. He then proceeded to log me into the computer to put me in line for my tire to be repaired. Not only did he service me but he allowed me to sit in the waiting area with my 2 little furry pets in which I did not bring a leash. After about 30 minutes, Mel called me over to tell me he would have my tire patched but he was not going to charge me. He also gave me the name of a company to take my care to get the rim fixed. I went to Town Fair a couple of years ago and didn't have a great experience. I've been back twice since then. The first time was because I kept getting flats. I was putting air in my tire about twice a week for months and months. I went in and they balance and rotated the tires. The service person that worked with me this time was fantastic. Unfortunately, I started having problems with two of the tires about two or three months later. I took it back, and they fixed it again and didn't charge me. This time they sealed the rims. This service person was really good too. It's funny, as he was checking me in, a guy came in, and the next service person took him. I heard the guy say he needed to buy four tires for his Lexus. I looked at the guy that was taking care of me, and said.. "I'm sorry. I wish you would have gotten him". He sweetly responded... "that's ok". I would definitely go back if I needed tires. Went in a week ago to get a price match on tires that were on sale at a competitor. They price matched for the price shown on that day and ordered the tires which were delivered and installed a week later. The staff was nice and the work was done relatively quick. However, they did not price match the tires at the price I came in for on that day a week ago. Instead they price matched it to the price on that day I came in which of course since the sale was over, the price had gone back up. I told the rep that placed the order for me and he said that there was nothing he could do even though he had promised me the price I had come in for that day and instead charged me the higher price. This definitely felt like a bait and switch type of situation. If I had known they weren't going to honor the price guarantee that day, I would've bought the tires from the competitor instead. read more
