DO NOT go here!!! I brought my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee here because it would not start. They charged me for a diagnostic test and told me I needed a new battery. I paid $331 for the battery and the next day my car would still not start. I called them and they told me to bring it in for an additional $199 Diagnostic test. I refused. I brought it to two other mechanics Who could see the problem right away without even charging me a Diagnostic test. I paid $450 to one mechanic and additional $950 to another mechanic and finally the problem has been fixed. When I called Sullivan tire I spoke to a man named Libby. All this man wanted to do was try to talk me out of fixing my Cherokee he was condescending and rude and said he didn't know why someone would sink so much money into that vehicle. He claimed it needed over $1700 worth of work. I explained to him it is a second vehicle for me and I would like to keep it going. It is now running great since the other mechanics fixed it. Making an appointment online was simple and easy. I arrived at the location, and Rob was fantastic and happy to help. He offered a complimentary Lyft to and from my house if I did not want to wait, but I opted to stay at the location. The waiting area had free wifi and complimentary coffee. Wheel alignment was supposed to take two hours but was out in under 40 minutes. The cost was $100, which is reasonable. read more

Poor Customer Service and Workmanship. They had my moms car for 14 days, she helped them get the part they ordered to fit, they called to say car was fixed, but the issue was still not resolved. They kept the car for two more hours, installed another part, then charged what we considered to be way too much with no apology for the hassle. read more

We had a flat tire and filled it at the Gulf station so we could drive to a tire shop. I tried one place that was too busy to deal with us. The Gulf Station recommended Sullivan's which to our relief was nearby. They were efficient, polite and let us know they had experience with Teslas so not to worry. They finished early and we were extremely satisfied with the service and cost. We will use them in the future and recommend them as well. read more

My drive to the beach this weekend was interrupted by an awful scraping sound coming from my car. Turns out the bolt holding up my exhaust had come loose and the whole unit was dragging noisily on the road. After being saved by AAA, the tow truck driver dropped me off at Sullivan Tire. And I'm very glad he did. Despite this being an interruption to whatever they already had on tap for the day, they didn't take too long to look at my car. They simply had to put in a new screw and my car was back to quietly purring along. The whole process took maybe 30 minutes from being dropped off. Best of all, the guys at Sullivan Tire were nice enough to let me go on my way with no charge! One of the mechanics smiled and said that it was the easiest job of the day. In a world where I often expect to be gauged by mechanics, this was such a wonderful delight. Overall the mechanics were super friendly, wait time was very reasonable, and waiting area spanking clean (including bathrooms!). read more

This place is stupid, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I need to replace brakes and I thought of going to couple of shops to get quote before I can get them fixed. I got an estimate from other 2 shops for free. I went to Sullivan tires around 1PM, Sullivan Tires, Weymouth, MA - they told me that they are very busy, but, they can arrange to inspect the car the same day between appointments, I felt very nice and I asked them if I can get a rough quote to just replace all of the brakes.. coz I know, they are in bad shape. They still said they need to inspect before they can give me a quote, which would take some time, they said they have a free shuttle to drop me home and they would call after they are done with inspection. All of this went very quick, I can sense the rush to take the keys and send me home in their free shuttle. Honestly, I felt something is wrong.. but, I thought I was being paranoid.. Around 3:30 PM, I was called to give quote.. which seemed to me a little high than other places. So, I thought I will just get my car back. I went to this place.. and I was surprised to get charged for 40$. When I asked them why they are charging me.. they said they don't work for free.. Well, you are supposed to inform a customer upfront that you will be charging before you do any work or inspection on car, what if you have charged me $200 and said, it was for inspection? Why was I not told that it costs 40$ for inspection?? After, I had an argument, they said they can put this 40$ toward repair cost, I would never get my car fixed at this place. Also they said they can 'adjust' this charge, If I don't feel like it is right. Also, they gave a checklist which says they have inspected tires, battery, etc. etc.. But, who asked you to check all those?? it was just a brake service and all I wanted is to know, how much would it cost to get the brakes replaced. Just to get to know that, I had to pay 40$ to this place. This is stupid, I blame myself for going to this place. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you don't have a choice and if you have to go this place.. make sure, you check with them in detail before they start any work. they might charge for the complimentary coffee also.. who knows.. read more

For the record, I write books on customer service and Rob and his team at this Sullivan Tire will make it into my next one. My wife took our 2006 BMW X3 in to get the drive train replaced. I called Rob the manager because I had to pick up our oldest daughter at the airport and our only car to do that was in his shop. It wouldn't be ready for me to pick it up - so Rob offered to drive me in to Logan to pick her up! I sorted another solution but his offer was totally genuine. This is a company that lives by its values of treating customers as if they are family. BTW when I did pick it up the price tag was easily half of what it would have been had I taken it to the dealer. And I promise you, there isn't a major car dealer in the world that would offer to pick up your kid at the airport for you! We would not think of taking our cars anywhere else for service. read more

First of all I must report that I am an automotive engineer. I have been around automobiles for about 25 years, and understand in great depth the physics of All Wheel Drive, drive trains, and the software and systems that support this technology. I recently had to go to Sullivan tire in Weymouth. I needed a new tire for my BMW -a company I have been employed with for the last 10 years. After ordering a replacement tire, and being assured I would receive a call-which I didn't I went back to check on status of my "special order" tire. The manager had no idea what was going on. No apology for the three-week delay, and no understanding of the car or tires. He informs me that my $200 tire will now cost $386. That is because, as he tried to instruct me: "You don't understand how AWD works. You really need a whole new set to make things work." When I told him I had the same tire from tirerack.com for $150 less, he then pretended to go on the web-site , and tells me: "no, it's the same price on the web-site." When I said, "show me, because I just checked prices 15 minutes ago" he said, "no I can't let you behind the counter to see" Then he says, you need a completely different tire to make sure your AWD is working properly. BELIEVE ME THIS IS A LIE. I asked: "so you measured the tread differential?" He had no idea what I was asking. He then tried to sell me on the more expensive tire, well after the correct quote had been provided 3 weeks prior to my return. Failing that, he tried to give me a lot of BS about how AWD works, which was all wrong. He lied to me about a better price on TIrerack.com, and then tried more B.S. to get me to buy a more expensive, and incorrect tire. Today, he attempted the same B.S. with my wife on our AWD Volvo. Still, no understanding of how tires work in an AWD, and using scare tactics in attempt to sell my wife into 4 tires, when only 1 was needed. These guys are idiots, sleazeballs, and totally unscrupulous. GO TO ANY OTHER TIRE STORE, AVOID SULLIVAN TIRE. THEY ARE IDIOTS, LIARS, AND DO THE WORST POSSIBLE WORK. A GAS STATION WITH UNTRAINED MECHANICS COULD DO A BETTER JOB. Look at tirerack.com, ship your tires to anyone other than Sullivan tire. Why risk your safety with morons and thieves. read more

We initially gave this establishment five stars however upon our last visit we had to change our rating. We recently went in for an oil change and when the bill was presented it was recommended that we replace our transmission fluid, antifreeze and power steering fluid. When asked what the cost would be we were quoted about $735.00. When asked why so much we were told that they have state of the art machines that would clean out the transmission and such. We went to our regular mechanic in Quincy who examined the car and he confirmed that we could use new transmission fluid which he changed. He also checked the anti freeze which he claimed was good. The power steering fluid although a bit old did not need to be changed, however he agreed that in 10,000 miles he would do it. He also rotated the tires. Our total cost was $49.00. The point here is that although Sullivan Tire has a beautiful waiting room, free coffee and courteous staff, they seem to be a bit creative with reality in an attempt to increase their sales . We cannot respect this approach to doing business and suggest that anyone going here seek a second opinion on any recommended work. read more

Go there with someone who knows mechanics if you don't yourself. They will absolutely try to swindle you. They wanted over $2,000 because my brake caliper seized and they wanted to replace all four brakes, calipers, rotors, pads, and to tighten 4 nuts and bolts they found loose. Be careful dealing with this place, they seem suspect/dishonest . I got my truck towed out of there and over nighted the parts I needed for the front brakes $300 and thank god I did everything myself. read more

Had a bad experience getting new tires at Ford in Braintree followed by a series of bad luck (pot holes) Not only was the staff more professional and friendly, they did not try to up sell me on any product. They were able to quickly order me new tires and have them mounted on my vehicle. Not all chain stores are equivalent. Highly recommend a little extra of a drive for quality service. read more

I recently brought my car in to the Weymouth location for new tires and an oil change. They did do a good job with those two things I asked them to do, but I also received a call surprisingly saying my car needed an additional $1200.00 worth of work. I asked them to please just put new tires on and an oil change and that I would take my car to my regular mechanic for the other work. I had just had my car in for an inspection and is why I was so surprised my car needed all this work. They actually made it sound very unsafe to drive, needing a tie rod replacement, rear brakes, and rotors. To make my review shorter, my mechanic looked my car over and said that work was not needed and unnecessary and my car was safe to drive! I've been going to him for over 20 years and when I asked, "Why would they say I needed that work done when it didn't need it", he said they are salesmen and to see who would bite. I've mentioned to friends what happened, and they have said they heard the same thing has happened to other people who have gone there. I will never go back to Sullivan tire again!!! And just want to make sure others don't potentially get taken like I almost was. read more

I used Sullivan to fix a flat tire. However when the repaired tire ready the car sat in the bay for almost half an hour because no one told the mechanic he was to mount the tire & store the donut spare. Otherwise the services were good. read more
