Been running on a plug tire for a couple months . I ordered a new tire online to replace it and brought it here. Johnny told me I don't need to replace the tire , he can patch it from inside and it will last as long as the age of the tire . It was a 15 minutes job .. he charged a reasonable price and wouldn't rip you off. It's a family run place so it looks like a house all run down. Called at 11am for 2 tires and was told to come back 1pm for them. I got there at 1pm and was standing by the owner for 10-15 mins while he was playing on his phone I had to approach him and ask him about the tires that he got for me and he said he sold them without even an apology. YI'm done business with his nephew four times in the past without any issue. I already had a bad feeling when I came into his parking lot and saw him playing on his phone ignoring me and my daughter. Avoid the chain tire shops and just save your time and money and come here. I just installed 4 new run flats on my 2015 535xi bmw at town fair tire. (Braintree) came back the next morning with a complete flat on my tire. They told me I had a "bubble" but wouldn't point out where the bubble was (the manager) and pushed me to buy a new tire ($300-400) I took my car to jimmys and turns out it was actually a crack in my rim that was not hard to miss. They hooked me up with a temporary spare free of charge till I got my rim welded. Can't thank them enough read more

Just had 4 tires replaced on my 2012 Ford Fusion SEL at Jimmy's. Outstanding customer service, price and advice received from start to finish from hard working gentlemen! When I first sustained the flat I initially went to Sullivan Tire in Quincy where I had purchased my previous 4 tires in 2017. They immediately suggested I have all 4 replaced along with additional services and quoted me double what I ended up paying at Jimmy's. Thankfully they didn't have the tires available or I probably would have been suckered in to paying this overpriced amount! I waited a couple days, did my research and found Jimmy's high star reviews on Yelp. I gave him a call this morning and he said to come on down. Jimmy and his son were down to earth, knowledgeable and HONEST. One of my tires was flat, the other 3 still had some tread life left. Upon assessment Jimmy recommended that I just replace the flat tire as it was unrepairable. He informed me that the other 3 were still good to use for a while. At no point did he try to upsell me on replacing the other tires or having any other additional services provided. I decided to get all 4 replaced anyways because of the low price and his honesty. The job took approximately 7 hours same day. I found this to be very reasonable as I had only called the shop this morning and they had multiple other jobs booked. They also offered me a ride home while I waited. I cannot recommend these guys enough and I will be coming here for all my tire needs in the future! read more

I have been coming here for years, prob 15+ years now and I have never had a bad experience. They are always super helpful, I've had tires patched, replaced, mounted etc. and no matter what service I get I have never had a bad experience. I actually just went there today because I had a slow leak from a screw being stuck in my tire and the young gentleman (not sure if it's the owners son, nephew, grandson or what) but he was so nice and got my tire patched up and put back on in no time. These guys are awesome! I went to them once a couple years ago to get a new tire and remembered that they were the most honest, cheapest, fastest and friendliest shop around. Fast forward to last month, I was told by the dealership during a routine oil change that my tires were in dire need of replacement and that I'd need to have a brand new set of Michelins for over $1000 after install, alignment and whatever the heck it is they do as install add-ons. I immediately called Jimmy's Tire the next day to ask for a quote for the same set of tires and they told me to drive it to them "...to see if you really need new tires". Wow, right? Who does that anymore? So of course, that's what I did. Not only did he quote me half the price ($500 for a set of 4 tires, inclusive of all add-ons) for a set that he considers better than the Michelins but he also said I really didn't need to have all 4 of them changed at once. Called them today about a screw in my tire after going to town fair tire and being told they could not patch it due to where it was and it would cost me a couple hundred to replace the tire. Drove right over to Jimmy's. told it would be about 1/2 an hour so I went for a walk. Walked about 3 blocks when my phone rang. They told me the screw did not puncture the tire and I was all set to go. No charge. They are fast and honest. Will definitely recommend and go back read more

Moved to Quincy a month ago and was unfamiliar with the area. When I found a screw in my tire last night, I was anxious about finding a new mechanic. Turned to Yelp and Jimmy's has glowing reviews. I stopped by the shop at opening this morning and quickly realized that all of my worry was unfounded. Jimmy and his son (also Jimmy) were quick, efficient, honest and real. They repaired the flat for $30 and helped put air in the rest of my tires to ensure a smoother ride. Jimmy said if I had any issues with the tire in the next few weeks, to bring it back to them and that they'd take care of it. I can't reiterate how helpful they were and how professional their staff is. I'm so grateful to have found my new tire place in Quincy! Called in for new tires Tuesday, was given a very fair quote (the cheapest I'd found by far) for both tires and installation cost. They had the tires ready for me the next day. Came in Thursday to have them installed, and my car was ready to go in under an hour. Really great service all around. The guys here are a family owned business and they genuinely seem like they want to help you out with whatever car tire issues you have. I came here with my Corolla to replace my all my tires because they had dry rot (cracking along the tire walls, 65k miles original Good Year tires that came with the car). Because of the dry rot, I was constantly loosing air pressure in one of my tires and I would have to refill the tire pressure every 10 days. I brough my car over one day and one of the guys there agreed that the dry rot was probably the cause. But before replacing all the tires, he wanted to make sure I didn't need to replace my tires so he topped off the air in all my tires (for no charge) and said to come back if it the tire pressure drops again in a week. In the end I came back to replace all 4 tires a couple weeks later. I was able able to get an good deal on 4 General Altimax tires. I just dropped my car off and in a couple hours I was able to pick it up. And after I got all my tires replaced, I was informed of a rebate going on with the General tires for a $50 rebate. If you're a local person and have issues with your tires, I suggest coming by here and having them take a look at the very least. Most of the time if the lot isn't 100% full, you can pull in and you will see someone in the parking lot and they generally will be able to take a look at no charge. read more
