We had to wait a few minutes for our food but it was worth it. My friends got the wings and the Philly cheesesteak. I got the Cowboy burger. It was cooked just the way I requested. They were playing popular songs from the 1970s and 1980s. I prefer Pepsi products over Coke and they had Diet Pepsi. read more

I love bringing my children here bc they can get a burger just the way each of them like and it's quality food. I've got one who loves pickles and onions, and one who can't stand either (both under 5). We can sit outside where they can run around and play if they want. Also a great tap beer selection for me. But they overwork their burger patties leading to a tough texture and tend to over cook them past what I ask for. I've found that I need to ask for rare/medium rare to get something close to medium. And then I'm always risking getting a basically raw burger. Which has happened a couple times so I generally just ask for medium and settle for a hockey puck patty with great toppings read more

Which do you think takes longer to cook? A well done Mondo burger or a Cesar salad with salmon (cooked medium? Would you anticipate your husband damn near finishing his burger before the salad and fries (sold separately) makes it to the table more than 10 min later? So why the 3 stars? Because the food was delicious. Point. Blank. Period. BUT, one person's order should not come to the table more than 10 min before the rest of the order. Food is ok, but certainly not for what they charge. The most ridiculous thing here is that the food comes out randomly as the kitchen finishes each item and not all at once. Even food trucks can get a full order out at one time, so that's a joke. The fries used to be amazing, but they switched fries to cheap frozen fries. They still advertise as cut Idaho fries but that's not true. I was told they couldn't get the old fries because some companies are buying up all the fries, I was also born yesterday. Go to Carolina Brewery, they seem to be able to get the good fries and don't false advertise. It's convenient for briar chapel and that's about it. read more

This is our local watering hole and I give it a 3.5 stars. Stop in and you are likely going to see me there!!! ;-) The food is good and for the most part consistent. Just like any place else, you can get an order that is not perfect and hence my 3.5 stars. This is a self serve / order at the counter kind of place. However, I recommend you sit at the bar. This is where you will find me and it is the only way to get full service. The bartenders are great and they get 4 stars. Given the name, you would expect the burgers to be good. They are and I recommend the Mac & Cheese Burger! Oh yum!! But a caution you...it is a lot of food and you will not need a side (sides are a la cart anyway). Appetizers: Pork Belly..........Oh goodness are they good. The nice secret of this place is the salads, cause you can only eat burgers about 4 days a week. My favorite is the taco salad. My wife love the wedge, which I agree is also good. Best part of this place is the full bar. Great drinks to choose from and some local brews like Carolina Brewery Sky Blue on tap. Ok, I am totally honest, but human... wife said my review read weird and a bit negative, so editing a bit to read reality. Jacob was totally cool bartender, and staff was great. Food was pretty much as I would expect from town hall. Top notch! Think I was hangry, so to those others out there, never hangry and post, lol. Anyways, thanks for keeping me honest. Like bizzaro town hall. Mostly same menu as 751, but no bbq tots, which I always start with. (Edit, I only say bizzaro because they don't smoke their own pork. Too funny). Pretty funny, however, to start my experience, I stared at the bartender, like, hey it's me. I noticed the vacant stare and asked if he worked at 751, he said no, that's my twin brother It's the little things for me... Make sure you specify your temp of burger. I choose red. The quietness of this compared to 751 and layout are different. Also, no Natty Boh or Ravens gear that reminds me of Baltimore. The people are nice, and the burgers are still really good, fries seems a little soggy, though, but they are pretty accommodating, so ask for extra crispy if that's your deal. The beer selection is very good. Never a bad way to start a meal than with a pernicious ipa. I would not make the 45 minute drive to this one over the 751 store, but if I lived here or was visiting my cousin up the road (hi heather) defs the best bet in town. The wife and I go maybe once a month or two for dinner and enjoy sitting at the bar. But it's never a positive experience based on the level of service your provided. We tried to eat there last night and my wife ordered a soda and I wanted to sample an IPA before I ordered one. I was given a sample and the bartenders never came back to see what I wanted. We watched as people came up to the bar to order drinks and they waited on them. It seems they focus more on their regular customers then the ones sitting at the bar. Then another guy walked up to the end of the bar and ordered some draft beers and once again neither male bartender asked if I liked the IPA and if we were ready to order food. We both sat there staring at them and they never picked up their heads or looked in our direction. So we got up and left. The other oddity is a blonde female came behind the bar and poured herself a draft beer! She was a server and overheard her say she really loves the beer and had one before she started her shift and wanted another taste because it's so good. Apparently they don't follow the law since your not allowed to be drinking behind the bar especially while working. Wonder if ALE paid them a visit and saw their violation how this place would like losing their license? Hopefully the business Briar Chapel gives them can sustain their overhead because we won't be back. Training starts at the top and apparently they don't train. I am very critical on service since I bartend myself and I acknowledge everyone thst bellies up to the bar and if I'm in the middle of something I tell them I will be right with them. We have tried to frequent this place a few times. Last summer we got chicken wings that were not done completely. Didn't say anything and just said we wouldn't go back. Well 8 months later we wanted to try it again, support local businesses. They ask how we wanted our burgers and said well done. Both burgers weren't done with one being almost raw. He tried really hard to eat it but couldn't stomach it after a few bites. We called to let them know, trying to give them a chance before leaving a review, and was told they would refund a burger. I was visiting from NY and passed it a couple of times so wanted to try dinner at this establishment. You have to get on line and order, which was unexpected. However, the food was delivered rather quickly and it was very busy that evening. The wings were excellent and the cheeseburger my wife and I had was good as well. I liked the assortment of draft beer. Our grandchildren enjoyed the chicken and fries as well. The staff was very efficient and pleasant. We went to Town Hall post COVID and called ahead and then ate on the patio. The burgers were absolutely fantastic. The service was good. We did have one small mishap but they immediately made it right and offered free drinks. If you like buffalo chicken try that burger. California was great also. But the winner for me was the Carolina Burger with the fresh pimento cheese and pork belly. Also the waffle nachos and truffle fries were a solid choice for sides. Went to the one in Southern Village and won't do that again. Flat bread was so undercooked that it was like a mozzarella goo on soft soda cracker. A pineapple upside down cake was listed on the menu and what came was a square of yellow cake with a pineapple ring settled on top. Maybe they don't realize that they are in the South and that many people here know what pineapple upside down cake really is supposed to be. Server was delightful and attentive but we really went to lunch for the food. Tried this location a couple of times for lunch on a Sunday. We had a very good experience here! I had the lamb burger over a Greek salad and coconut chicken over a salad. Both wonderful the lamb burger is super flavorful. The pretzel rolls are Bomb.com! Leave your house and get this now! So worth the up of $1. Please enjoy this! The Cali burger is my wife's and my go to. Feeling extra gluttonous- share the fried mac and cheese side. Slightly zesty and extra deliciuous. Way too expensive! $9 is too much for a so-so burger - especially when fries don't even come with it. And a side of fries only comes in one size and is around $4. Oh, and they charge an extra $2 or so if you order take out. No thank you. I'll stick with other local burger joints. Addendum: I heard from the owner (which kudos because that is good business): the $9 burgers are ones with bacon or pork; the fries are meant to be "family size" (but what if I'm there by myself?); and the surcharge for take out is $1.50, and they charge that because they're "environmental friendly" containers. Got takeout for dinner tonight. They've expanded their menu a lot since the last time I visited a few years ago. Tonight I had the full size perfect burger, she had the patty melt. We split onion straws and the mushroom polenta. All of the food was delicious and service was good and quick even though they were very busy. They were definitely on top of things. Quality of food is good. Very loud. One night trying to dine inside and relax, 4 kids literally screaming back and forth between two tables while the parents sat there ignoring them. Great fish sandwich- hands down one of the best I've ever had. The batter is light and provides just enough of a crispy coating. The bread is lightly toasted. The portion size is impressive for a standard fish sandwich. Burgers and fries are awesome. Salads are just -ok. read more
