The guys did a fantastic job in repairing my 2008 Chrysler Sebring hardtop convertible which was rear-ended. They even "Detailed" my car, at no extra expense, such that it appeared like it just came out of the show-room. Evie(Spelling???), the young lady at the desk and who did all the paperwork, helped me in not having my car listed as being "totaled". They repaired my car under that of the insurance company's repair cost estimate. I would definitely highly recommend Town Line should anyone need collision repair work on their car or truck. Ive used them a few times, and im done. The vehicle wasnt cleaned well. It seems whether u ask then to change a windshield wiper or redo an entire vehicle it takes a month. My insurance company put my name and theirs on the check...they didnt have me sign it...shady to me. The new office lady has no personality. My family began using town line when we were involved in a vehicular accident. They did a great job patching up our car. Since then, I've had them work on my car twice, replacing my front bumper twice as well as my side mirror. Both times they did excellent work with a smile! I haven't gotten into an auto accident in many years...and this year I had two minor ones before this year was up. Both were not my fault. First one, our SUV was side swiped on a major local road by another car merging into our right lane...no one was hurt, just the doors and side dent and paint damage on the driver's side. Went to Town Line Auto Repair in Monroe and I told them the repair will be paid out of pocket (by the other guy), not through the insurance, TL wrote up the estimate and also offer to arrange a rental car for me. They gave me a fair price and 8 days later it was done. They did a great job repairing our SUV, including the radar system that new cars has now. Well about a month later, my car (Honda) was rear-ended on my way to work. Again, not my fault and thank goodness minor bumper damage only, and this time the other guy has insurance! I went back to Town Line and again they wrote up the estimate for the other insurance and arranged my car rental. Both times I dealt with TL, they were very courteous, great service and gave me the confidence my car was in good hands. If you live around Monroe, Newtown, Shelton and Bridgeport area, I highly recommend you contact this auto body shop to have your car repair needs. Drive safe. read more

Went for an estament, first thing before writing it they wanted to know too much personal info. Name of insurance company,policy number etc., which is none of their damn business unless I give them the job. Needless to say I got in my car and went elsewhere and got job done. Beware they are trying to steal repair jobs. Go to a reputable shot. read more

Unfortunately, my experience with town line auto body has not been pleasant. I was rear ended and brought my car to town line auto body (richie).The shop arrange for a car rental the day I brought my car in. They had my car for one month without any communication with me. They dealt directly with the insurance co. When I called to inquire why it was taking so long, they informed me that they had just started working on my car which only needed a few days of repair work. When I went to pick up my car, they informed me that the insurance Co. Was going to charge me for the car rental because they couldn't justify why they had my car for so long. They handed me the key to my car with no paper work ( I had to request a copy)and no explanation of the repairs done to my vehicle. When I went into my car, I found a dog leash in the front passenger side..hhhmmm someone was using my car for personal use? Months later, I started having issues with the rear camera. I went back to the shop and asked Richie to call the insurance Co and request a supplemental so it can be fixed. He told me that I would have to call. So I did and was told that the body shop had to make the initial call and request a supplemental (one would think that someone being in the business would already know the procedures). When I informed Richie, he said he would contact them. Two days later, I hadn't heard from him. I contacted him to make sure he didn't forget. He assured me that he didn't forget, that he was behind in some paper work, and that he would call me. Two weeks passed by and I hadn't heard from him, I contacted him again and he told me that he was waiting for someone to call him back, that he received the ok, but was waiting for them to call back because, he said there are "key words" they use, so I would not be responsible for the repair. When I asked him for the name and number of the person he spoke with, he couldn't provide it and began changing the story and making excuses. So, he basically jerked me around with excuses for two week. I guess he didn't want to open his pandora's box--who knows what he originally claimed as damage and then he requested additional money for more damage found. Sorry it took me so long to realize this guy is not operating a good/honest business. read more

The left side of my car was taken out by a hit-and -run driver on the Mix-Master in Waterbury. Town-line retrieved my car from the shady towing company that allowed to tires to be stolen, maintained a great line of communication between Enterprise car rental and my insurance company...making my life much easier. We could not have been more pleased with their work. The car was not only repaired to look like new, but it was detailed and 100% cleaner than the day it was wrecked. Town Line generously allowed the exchange of temporary tires to take place at their garage as not to involve us with the owner of the sketchy towing company ...high appreciated! read more
