This was a last resort choice and we were hoping for the best since the sign said newly renovated. Not our room #22. The AC smelled strongly of mold so turned it off. The chair has a large stain and wasn't clean. There was lots of noise, cars with loud music parked and people screaming/talking arguing etc. The bed was a spring not very comfortable, the bedspread has a heavy feel, like that heavy wet blanket feel. but covered with a sheet I brought. The bathroom was weird the toilet is a bit diagonal so almost faces the window and the shower had a second shower built in the wall, small enough to fit a 3 foot child. Idk what that's about. When you turn the shower on it's so loud like there's drilling going on, you could here the showers in the neighboring rooms, I kid you not! Listen as a last resort it's ok but will not be going back. Ever

Room was clean. Staff was very friendly. Bathroom was huge! We stayed in #76 and everything was very good.

Don't recommend as they don't honor CONFIRMED reservations…read more This has increasingly become an issue with Hilton properties so I began tracking it. I use Hilton over Marriott because of the app and being able to use digital keys. The benefit of not having to go by the front desk in busy travel is really key. This property is an absolutely not. I checked in yesterday- as a Hilton diamond member choosing my room (541) on the top floor and at the end of the hall for quietness. Because I know that's an issue for me sleeping. Because this has happened so much, I've started screenshotting the confirmation. On the way from the airport I see I still don't have a digital key despite my confirmed check in being two hours before. I know there's likely a problem. Sure enough, the gentleman asks for my id and I have to re-enter the same credit card (the one I already had on the app and worked smoothly last night at a different hotel). He hands me keys and directs me to elevators. At which time I see my room is now 222. I go back to the desk and show them the confirmation to which they play dumb- "it just gave me this room" and another lady "I'm sorry. Maybe the top two floors is an airline and they're together all we have is third floor" in the most insincere apology you can imagine. It's not about floor, it's about noise. The airline may have status but I do as well- as a diamond member for many many years. So given I'm here for two days staring at a parking lot best I can do is warn others. Really been disappointed in Hilton lately. Do better.

The room itself is gorgeous just like the rest of the resort and casino. It's very classy and classic inside, mostly white and cream decor with pops of color. We had the king suite and it was super spacious with a couch, large bathroom, bath, shower, and a nice view of the harbor. It's also very tech savvy with an ipad that controls mostly everything in the room. Beds are also comfortable and it was super clean. They have food/drinks in the fridge but you have to pay. It's nice for a little getaway and convenient if you want to sleep after playing in the casino downstairs. Plus parking is free and there's a water shuttle to Boston. Honestly a good idea for tourists too wanting to see the city. I'd stay here again!

The problems started before I even arrived. I was traveling from Logan Airport and followed Encore's own website instructions for the shuttle. Those instructions were wrong. Because the hotel had not updated its posted pickup location, I spent roughly an hour walking around downtown Boston in the rain trying to find the shuttle. I called twice for help and spoke with two different representatives, both of whom were deeply uninterested and unable or unwilling to provide useful assistance. When I finally found the correct shuttle area, I waited even longer in the rain, only for the driver to tell me and two other passengers that we needed to get on a different shuttle that was already pulling away from the curb. We literally had to chase it down to catch it. Because of this, I missed a work meeting. Unfortunately, arriving at the hotel did not improve the experience. After standing in an excessively long check-in line, I finally got to the front desk, where the staff confidently insisted that I needed to pay the full room amount, even though my company had already paid for the reservation. At that point I was exhausted, wet, and late, so I paid it just to get into the room. Now my office manager is having to argue with the hotel because staff are apparently claiming I never had a reservation at all -- which is especially strange given that I am currently sitting in the room, and we have an emailed receipt showing that the room was already paid for. Even worse, the staff member speaking with my office manager has reportedly been snarky, condescending, and dismissive while she tries to resolve a problem created by the hotel's own systems. Rather than helping investigate the discrepancy, he appears to be treating her as though she is confused or incompetent. That is unacceptable customer service under any circumstances, but it is especially galling when she is the one trying to clean up Encore's billing and reservation mistake. This was not one minor inconvenience. It was a cascade of failures: incorrect transportation instructions, unhelpful phone support, chaotic shuttle coordination, a missed business meeting, a miserable check-in process, an apparent duplicate charge, and now a billing/reservation dispute being handled with condescension instead of professionalism. For a hotel that markets itself as a luxury resort, this was genuinely embarrassing. Nothing about this experience felt organized, hospitable, or guest-focused. It felt like a high-end property with low-end operations and staff who could not be bothered to solve problems they helped create. Encore Boston Harbor may be a great place to stay if you enjoy being wet, late, overcharged, dismissed, and treated like an inconvenience. I will not stay here again, and I would strongly caution business travelers against relying on this hotel for anything that requires competent logistics, accurate billing, or basic customer service. Beautiful building. Broken operation. Absolutely not worth the aggravation.
