Had to clean the floor with the one and only towel provided. So gross!

I'm not sure if this place was taken over by new management or what, but this place has gone waay down hill. My husband and I stayed for two nights just recently and it was the worst hotel experience I've ever endured. ONE towel and bath towel that smelled like smoke. No facecloths. A half roll of paper towels left in the kitchen. Coffee with no coffee cups. My wife is disabled with Lymphedema and must walk barefoot. The floors were DISGUSTING, I had to hand wash them with our bathmat. Gross! The people in the room directly across from us were partying so loudly our first night there, smoking weed & cigarettes in the hallway. When I complained to management, via text, we got no response. In fact, we got accused of our room smelling like cigarettes and we don't even smoke! Please don't waste ur money on this place, we certainly won't be.

Fantastic hotel - suite was really superb. Comfy beds, great kitchenette, quiet and nicely furnished. Great option for Logan airport travel - drive is usually about 15-20 mins to terminals. Friendly staff - breakfast however a little strange and under-supplied - no one was around to help with finding silverware!

Awesome strip of beach a couple miles out of Boston not that crowded mostly local yokels.

Lovely beach! TONS of free parking and it was pretty dead at noon on a hot summer Sunday. Clean, easy to get to, and spacious. However, if you are looking to actually swim, you can't here if it's red tide/hurricane season. On the weekend of 8/23/09 there were signs posted and the lifeguards (not sure why they even have them) will tell you to get out of the water if you go in deeper than your calves.

    No curtains or blinds!

Small and inconspicuous hotel. Staff was very nice. Electronic key maker wasn't working , so they weren't able to assign key cards, therefore the receptionist needed to let me into my room each time I exited. Very annoying. There was no curtain or blinds on my window which was very concerning. So, if I wanted to sleep in, I wouldn't be able to because the sun would be right in my face, and even more concerning was the lack of privacy. I find it hard to believe that this is actually legal. Housekeeping does not automatically clean your room, if you want your room cleaned, you'll need to put a sign on the door indicating so. Just a bit odd if you ask me. But, you get what you pay for.

The beach is just a couple of blocks away. Great location to get to Boston, Salem, and Plymouth.

The Winthrop Beach Inn and Suites is in a perfect location to visit Boston, Salem, or Plymouth. The Inn is in a quaint neighborhood not far from local restaurants. The rooms a nicely decorated with modern amenities. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful and friendly. Next time I'm in Boston, I'm definitely staying here.

4/5 stars! Had to…read morecome to Boston for a quick fast business trip last minute, my local friends suggested to stay here since you can walk from the airport and back. Usually I don't like Airport hotels since the loud noise of planes taking off and landing right outside always bothered the hell out of me as I'm a light sleeper. But for some reason this hotel was not noisy at all. I did not hear the usually obnoxious planes taking off or landing as I usually do staying at an airport hotel. In fact it was rather quiet. They also upgraded me to a nice scenic water view of the bay in the corner so maybe thats another reason why it was so quiet? The only reason why this was not a 5/5 is because as many pointed out this hotel is rather expensive in price. Had it been a bit more competitive in price I could probably give it a 5/5 stars but it was like almost $300 for just one night! But also in all fairness, I think the FIFA games were in town so that probably drove up the cost of the prices. Also another weird thing was soon as I checked in I had to run up to my room and change for my meetings as my driver was already waiting for me outside to take me to my meetings. But as soon as I checked in some Indian looking lady comes right up to me from behind and she was like trying to sell me something as if they do for Time Share Hilton Grand Vacation Properties? I was like WTF? Is this a time share property too? I shut her down saying I have NO TIME to even talk to you right now and just ran up to my room. But god knows what she was trying to sell me in the lobby had I let her do her sales pitch to me right? This hotel comes with $18 credit if you are HH GOLD so I used the $18 to buy a few water bottles, and OJ, in the lobby. The small convenience store next to the front desk opens at 12AM midnight which is odd right? There were a number of guests trying to buy some water or soda and the front desk kept saying sorry its closed until 12am??? So I finished all my meetings and came back and it was midnight so I was able to buy those water bottles since it was midnight. But again just odd that it's not open until midnight right? The hotel itself is actually directly connected to the airport. So if you go to the 2nd floor you can walk right into the actual airport which was incredibly convenient as you can imagine. I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel thats literally directly connected to the airport like this!

Next, we were trying to get a beer at 10:35PM tonight, Friday night, but the bar has last call at 10:30Pm and closes @11PM. SERIOUSLY!!!!! Are we now staying in kiddyville?? Next the hotel had only two out of three elevators running all day and there were high school kids going up and down the elevators like little children causing delays and crowded elevators. Then tonight after finding out the bar was closed before midnight, we go to the elevators to find another elevator is out of order with only one elevator running. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE EXPECTING LEISURE, OR IF YOU EXPECT GENERAL SERVICES (All elevators working, a bar that stays open until reasonable hours, and a true reception that is worth sitting down and relaxing with beer, or wine) THAT ARE NORMALLY OFFERED AT VIRTUALLY ALL OTHER EMBASSY SUITES. I will definitely never stay here again. It isn't worthy of the Hilton brand. Ok, had to edit again. Don't ever expect ice to be available for your breakfast time in the morning!!! Also, if you have a schedule, plan plenty in advance for your time, this place has no urgency or priority for elevators. Had to take the stairs multiple times just to get downstairs

I don't believe they have room service but it's just as easy to order over the phone or go downstairs to order. The wait seemed a little long, but I was back in my room in no time. How does someone at a hotel make you feel that? This review reflects my personal experience and opinions regarding a recent job interview process involving Raquel. I am currently going through one of the most difficult periods of my life after the death of my mother in November. The grief is still crushing me every single day. During my interaction with Raquel about a job opportunity, I was visibly upset and crying. She harshly turned me away. She told me I would be given another opportunity TO MY CRYING FACE and that a follow-up interview would be scheduled. That follow-up never happened. I felt completely dismissed and unsupported while I was literally crying in front of her. As someone grieving the loss of a parent, I expected basic human decency and honesty. Instead, I walked away feeling ignored and betrayed during one of the worst times in my life. What hurt the most wasn't just losing the opportunity -- it was believing I would actually be contacted again, only to be completely ghosted. My impression is that my situation wasn't taken seriously at all. It felt like she lied to my face while I was crying. AND THEN LONG AFTER I posted about this experience (WEEKS!) I was FALSELY accused of harassing Raquel. That accusation is unfair and false. I never contacted her personally and had no intention of doing so. I was simply sharing what happened to me. Not to mention, I ceased contact with her LONG beforehand. I will never recommend anyone work with her. She has Zero heart Everything here is based on my personal recollection, opinions, and how these events actually affected me.

And that's perfectly fine. For what it is, it absolutely nails it. We booked it for one simple reason, proximity to Logan International Airport, and the free shuttle sealed the deal. When you've got an early flight, convenience stops being a luxury and becomes the whole game. This place delivers on that front without making it complicated. Check-in was smooth, staff were friendly and easygoing, no attitude, no friction. The room was clean, well-kept, and had a small kitchenette. We didn't use it, this was a quick overnight, grab a bite and get some sleep kind of trip--but it's a nice option if you're staying longer. The bed was comfortable, which is really all you want at the end of a travel day. There's also a complimentary breakfast, which is always a welcome bonus when you're trying to get out the door early without overthinking it. Now, I've seen some complaints about street noise. I get it, the hotel sits near a busy area, and from our room on the fourth floor overlooking the Chelsea Street Bridge, there was definitely traffic. But for me? Not even remotely an issue. I spent two decades living in Boston through college, med school, residency, fellowship, the whole grind. Street noise at this point is basically white noise. If anything, it helped me sleep. At the end of the day, actually, scratch that, bottom line: this place gives you a lot for what you pay. Clean, convenient, comfortable, and practical. If you're flying out of Logan and want something reliable without spending luxury hotel money, this is one of the best options around.

It was "declined" for some reason and he did it again himself which left me with 2 temporary holds. Thankfully my credit card dropped one of the holds. The hotel was dirty, smelled bad, and my room had peeling paint in the bathroom, the shower door didn't close completely so water got all over the floor - and the lighting was awful. People really pay $375 for a room like this?! I pay $150 for 10 times better and YES even at airports. I travel a lot for work, and leisure so I'm not new at this. I called as soon as I had my checked baggage. They told me to go to door 106 which I did. After about 20 minutes, I saw the Hampton van drive-by. He was in the far left lane. I've been traveling for over two days - coming back from the Solomon Islands. I was cold and tired. I called the hotel back and they radioed the driver. "He said he stopped at door 106 and waited as long as he could, but there was no one around and he had to continue on.". He is a liar. I've been standing here the whole time. Not only did he not stop, he did not even slow down. She said it would be another 20 minutes. When the shuttle returned, he stopped at the curb. I personally opened the back of the shuttle and put my suitcases inside. I personally opened the door to get in. He asked how my day was going. I told him I was not happy about having to wait so long. From there, we rode through the airport. We stopped at every stop whether there was someone standing there or not. It is interesting that I was apparently the only invisible person. In the morning, rather than rely on the shuttle, I just called an Uber. Once I finally arrived at the hotel, check-in was smooth. The Jacuzzi was not working. There is a decent enough gym. I wouldn't call what this hotel has, "a restaurant ". It seemed that I could either pick up some frozen food in the store and cook it in my room, or have the "restaurant" do it for me. There are not a lot of convenient options. There was a Wendy's, and a grocery store across the street but it is a divided highway so you have to walk a bit to actually get to them. I did because Wendy's seemed better than my choices at the hotel. Breakfast was typical Hampton fare. Neither good nor bad. I do appreciate that I can get hot oatmeal and scrambled eggs rather than just empty carbohydrates. It was super busy and chaotic. Not the hotel's fault. My room was clean and either comfortable, or I was exhausted from my long traveling. Probably both. Other than a place to sleep before continuing travel, I don't think I would stay here again.
