A nice place to chill and drink with your friends at night! I really enjoy the ambience here and it's not really loud, so you can actually have conversations with people in there. It hasn't been too crowded the times I've been here, which is good! I don't enjoy having so many people around when I just want to have a little hang out spot to spend with my friends. The cocktails that I've tried have been so far so good! I can't really remember what I ordered, but they have a good selection. I believe they switch up some of their cocktails too, so I don't know if the ones I've ordered are still there. I remember one of the times I came here, there was some promotion going on for that weekend that if you follow them on Instagram, you can get a free shot of their fruit infused vodka. It was pretty good too! Service has always been great and staff were very friendly the times I've visited. It's on a main street, but I never really had trouble finding a parking spot nearby. If you do run into trouble in finding a spot, there is a parking structure nearby that you can park at! read more

My new favorite spot. I definitely recommend coming here during happy hour! My boyfriend and I came in on a Thursday and it was pretty busy but service was very good. Our server was really attentive and nice. We ordered beef sliders and nachos to share which were sooo good. I ordered 3 margaritas for myself and man, they were strong but so yummy. This place is all hat and no cattle. Their Sazerac, which is a featured cocktail, was out-of-balance sweet and missing the lemon peel. The two appetizers we got were sub-Trader-Joe's quality. This is my third (and last) visit. I gave them some time to work out the kinks. The issue, I think, is that they are doing well as it's now the "Klassy" place to have a drink on Park St. They don't feel the need to actually deliver any value. read more

Have gone here twice and really wanted to like it and give it a chance. 1st time - it was on a Thursday night. A little full but they still had empty seats. Similar to another review here, it took awhile for someone to come over and take our order. Ordered for a dirty martini and poutine. Our order came out wrong for some reason, however, our server was nice enough to catch the mistake and fix it for us. Great that it was fixed, but we couldn't understand how you could mix up a dirty martini over a regular one. The poutine was really delicious and our overall first experience was okay and redeemed and we decided to give it one more chance. 2nd time - we came in a Wed afternoon, so there were less people. Was able to get our orders much quicker (ordered the same). We decided to order another round and it never came :( so we figured they forgot and to just get the check. They charged us for the 2nd round and we told them we never received the 2nd round, turns out they had an issue with the paper printing out orders so some orders never went through and that they'd just cancel it if we didn't want them anymore. Fair, they cancelled it and all-- I just wish we were told instead of just waiting there not really understanding what was going on. They also charged us for premium liquor this time around (we ordered the same thing last time and wasn't charged for premium liquor). Honestly, don't mind getting charged extra, I just wish it was more consistent with the charges. This place isn't bad, and all my issues were resolved. I'll probably come back, but this won't be a regular spot. The dirty martini isn't the best I've had either. So I really wanted to give this more stars, but I was just really underwhelmed with this place. read more

I had a tequila shot that blew my mind. I have no clue what the shot was call. I know it was Trejo reposado. Best tequila shot hands down. Great pub atmosphere. Cozy, new, well lit, lively, small tables. We found a perfect table for the 4 of us. We ordered beers and 7 out of 12 items on the menu. The food was exceptionally good and varied. 5-stars for the fun experience. There are of course room for improvements: Service was very friendly but could be more attentive - we had to wave idle servers over for more beers and the bill. Beers were limited (~6) and mostly pale ale/IPAs. Could add a pilsner and a Guinness for a more complete pub line of beers. read more

I was in Alameda finishing work late and stopped at this place to watch a Warriors playoff game. Game 5 versus Houston 2019 -- Big Game. They have three large screen TVs behind the bar. Nice scene. I ordered a Sazerac and it was too sweet. With a few minutes left in the third quarter the 40 or so patrons there were ALL watching the game whether or not seated at the bar treated well maybe there were three people at a table not watching. But just about everybody at the tables was watching. They were playing some lukewarm sort of disco music on the speakers. I asked the bartender if the patrons could take a vote on whether to turn on the sound .on the TV. He told me he would like to but the owner doesn't do that. I asked if I could speak to the owner and he told me where he was. So I walked up to the owner and asked would you like to make your customers happy? "What do you mean," he asked. I told him everyone would appreciate it he would turn the sound on. In a rather hostile tone he told me "we don't do that we aren't a sports bar. " Except nobody would have even been there at 9:45 p.m. on a Wednesday night but for the game and three large screen TVs. I went back to my seat at the bar and mentioned what transpired to the woman who was next to me. She was surprised and went to talk to him herself. He just about bit her head off. I don't understand the owners total lack of sensitivity to his customers' wishes. A few people said they wouldn't go back there again. He prefers to generate bad will then accommodate customers. My good friend and I checked this place out and we had a great experience! We were greeted as soon as we entered. The server approached our table right when we sat down and was very friendly. My friend ordered wine and I had the Island Margarita, which was really good! In fact, I'm thinking of going back ASAP to have another one. Haha. I really liked the interior - modern mixed with wood, service was excellent, and the food was also done well. I came in on a Friday evening around 5:15 with two friends and found a table right away. The place was buzzing with people and there was a basketball game on both TVs up front. It had a nice feel to it and never got loud with the game on. We sat at the window seat and people watched, great spot for that! My friend ordered a flight of whiskey and a Tennessee mule. My other friend had manhattan and a Moscow mule and I decided to try a Negroni( which I had never had before). I would not order that again cause it was so strong I had to pour a little water in there to finish it. I looked it up later and read that it's an apéritif. I thought the drink was beautiful but it was not something I would order again. It would be helpful if they labeled the drink as an apéritif so people know what to expect. We also ordered food: French onion dip, French fries, wontons and Brussels sprouts. The Brussel sprouts were delicious and I would order them again. As it got later, more and more people came in and it started to get crowded. If I moved a hair I'd be bumping into the man who had just sat to the side. The bartenders put a lot of effort in to their craft cocktails; each one I've tried has been super yummy. They change the menu regularly, so you never get bored and can still try new things...but of course they keep the delicious staples like the Loaded Tater Tots and Warm Gooey Cookies. If you're vegetarian, there are options -- I really enjoy their Brussel Sprouts! Their customer service is amazing, not only are their servers sweet and attentive, you'll also notice the owner running food out to your table or asking if you need anything. My husband and I came here on Saturday night to check this place out. We ended up loving our time here. The place is very clean, well lit and you can actually have a conversation with the person(s) you are with. You are greater with friendly knowledgeable staff that truly cater to what your in the mood for. My husband isn't usually a fan of old fashions but he decided to try it after the bartender recommended it as one of their best drinks. My husband ended up liking the drink. He said it's the best old fashion he has ever tasted. I'm currently pregnant so no alcoholic beverages for me but I was pleasantly surprised that they had fun non-alcoholic drinks. I had the Mellon Ball which was fresh and citrusy. Overall we had a lovely date night and would definitely recommend this place again. read more

This new bar is a real surprise and it has a terrific quality - the place to be and to experience things. You will meet new people and be introduced to new beverages. I was impressed by the superb bartender Nikki ; he was able to deliver some amazing information about the drinks that were being created as we sat at the bar. I had some fries and guacamole and they were great during the happy hour and I would recommend this place to anyone bar hopping in Alameda. finally got around to trying this hip new bar that just opened down the street! it was confusing when we walked in because we weren't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait to be seated but after standing around awkwardly for several seconds, we decided to seize the best seats in the house that just so happened to be open: right in the alcove of the window. they have a great selection of drinks and shareable plates but when we were about to order, our waitress said that a lot of the food options were no longer available and brought us the late night menu instead (starts at 10pm). we decided to go with the sliders and put in a special request for the loaded tots, which were not included on the late night menu. the waitress was very nice and was able to get us the loaded tots, which were great! but the real surprise were the sliders! although small in portion, each bite packs a punch with texture. it sounds like you're chewing a handful of chips when you bite into the perfectly toasted bun with wonderfully seasoned pork belly. highly recommend! i would have ordered more but i'm trying to practice self-control. read more

I came here for the first time on a Saturday when the warriors were playing. It was pretty busy, but seating is accommodated if you can get there early. The woman who served our table seemed to be disappointed that we wanted drinks first and our food a little later. I ordered a dish, I was still working on it when I looked away for one second and I looked back and my food was gone. I wasn't happy about that, most waiters or servers would ask if I was finished with my food. Same with our drinks they kept coming up to our table and removed our drinks that were at least 1/3 full without asking. I've never been to a place where they take away my food and drinks without asking when clearly we are still working on it. I didn't appreciate this at all. When my check came there was a drink on my receipt that I never ordered so I explained to the woman that I didn't order it, she seemed very skeptical about it and insisted that I ordered it. "But it says that your table ordered it." I'm assuming she meant the computers but I kept insisting that I never did because I never ordered it. She seemed upset and left, came back with the correct receipt and said "look I took it off for you," making it seem like it was a very big inconvenience to her. If you want customers to return you should make us feel welcomed. read more

Had the beef sliders and they were so juicy!! It was perfect and came with melted cheese and pickle, so so good! Had two tiki drinks a mai tai which was great and not too sweet but paper straws just dont do well with that type of drink. Also got a hammock banana and whoa! I dont even know how to describe it all i know is all tiki drinks need to have tamarind in them. Great location, the staff was amazing and friendly and they genuinely seemed happy to work here.
