My corned beef special (ordered twice) with their delicious seasoned fries 4 stars. MDW ordered chicken salad stuffed tomato (ordered twice) 4 stars. Egg white veggie omelette with homefries 4 stars omelette, homefries 1 star. cheeseburger ordered medium rare, came out cooked over well done, new one came out almost raw 1star. Lox and bagel 4 star. Never been here so we thought we would try breakfast. They were kinda busy and I'm guessing short handed because we waited 7 min before our server found us. No big deal today, it's New Year Eve and we don't have anything to do for hours. Our waitress was sweet and had to keep apologizing. I had the Italian omelette and it was just ok (had to wait for the Scrapple, because they always forget the Scrapple). My son had the Italian delight and said " it was all right". What happened here!!! This was our go to breakfast stop on Sundays. Today was a real disappointment! Pancakes were over cooked and dry. Eggs Benedict had over cooked eggs and watered down hollandaise sauce which made the English muffin soggy! And the price hike was an insult. The best thing about breakfast was our server Jannice! She was kind, polite and efficient in her work. I don't know what was going on in the kitchen but it was obvious that the waitstaff was struggling with getting their orders! The waitress was friendly and the staff very welcoming. However the burger was extremely over cooked / burnt, roll was stale, and fries were cold. Burger was hard (from being over cooked) and very bland. The best part of the meal was the tasty pickle. There were only 2ppl in our party and the waitress came over twice and apologized for the long wait time. The waitress left us a water pitcher - which was nice. My dad insisted on bringing me here mainly because the place has some "bang for your buck." Dad wasn't kidding! I ordered an omelette and I was not prepared for the size of this thing. It looked like the breakfast of an Olympic athlete. Swear they put six eggs in this bad boy and doubled my cholesterol. It also came with a towering pile of home fries and toast. It was all really yummy and hot. The potatoes were the highlight. They were cooked evenly and well seasoned. No burned bits hiding on the plate. I was satisfied and happy but as always I must say it's pretty hard to screw up eggs. I enjoyed eating here because the food was good and plentiful but the service was subpar at best. I hate to say that cause server life is hard but we waited several minutes just for menus. We waited another several minutes for our order to be taken and it's not like the place was overflowing with customers on this winter Tuesday afternoon. The waitress was pleasant enough though. This is the first place I tried with my family when I moved here and it was the best experience! It may not look like much, but it makes up for it in some of the best food and excellent staff. It's a seat yourself and the first day we went, Easter Sunday, it was packed! We found room at the counter and they let us know it may be a few minutes until they got to us because they were slammed. We didn't mind, especially since it wasn't even 5 minutes. The waitress was super friendly, and took our order right away. I got the breakfast special with eggs, French toast and home fries. The home fries are to die for! You can get them cooked well done if you wish, but I didn't. They are seasoned to perfection and not dry at all. The French toast was light and not eggy. The coffee was fresh and delicious and the food was fast. We've since been there 3 more times and have never had a bad meal. They're open for breakfast and lunch but stay open for dinner Friday's and Saturday's. We've also been lucky enough to get Tracy twice now. She's a sweetheart and a fantastic waitress. read more

i came in to order take out, and the staff was very friendly. i only had apple pay, which they accepted and they were the only business in the area which could do so. food was very quick and ready to go within minutes. i ordered a veggie wrap and sweet potatoes and the food was high quality and largely portioned. highly suggest coming here to sit down or take out, everything runs very smoothly! definitely coming back again! read more

Delicious! Our first time here and the staff was very friendly, server heard my toddler crying and she came by with crackers to calm her down. We sat and waiting close to 20 minutes before any of the staff had the common courtesy to even welcome us. Just getting ready to leave when someone came over and provided us with menus and offered us the honor to have a coffee or tea. I ordered the angus jersey burger with pork roll. The one thin slice of pork roll was burndt to a crisp and the burger was very well done when i asked for medium. I do not recommend this restaurant at all unless you are a local. Wonderful home cooking, this is a tasty surprise tucked into a strip mall. Stopped in for dinner last night (it's a breakfast & lunch spot but they serve dinner on Friday and Saturday nights). Great breakfast food and service! Ham is to died for. Least twice a month we'd stop in for breakfast after church. You know the food is good when there's a line waiting to get it. This past Sunday pancakes were ordered. The middle was raw and doughy so they were sent back. Another order of pancakes came and this time bottom was tough to cut with a knife AND the middle was doughy. The problem was obvious. Heat was too high. The server was apologetic and polite. When the bill came I was surprise to see the full amount. Nothing was taken off the bill. I wanted to speak with the owner but she disappeared when it was time to check out. As a matter of fact we stood there for 5 mins waiting for anyone to cash us out. Never an issue before she's always present. Coincidence? Maybe but I think we were being avoided. Too bad. We stopped in over the July 4th weekend, a party of six, and left, overly satisfied, with doggy bag in hand, and knew we'd "beaten the house".
