Breakfast board with cinnamon bun French toast, breakfast egg rolls and scrambled eggs
    Laura F.

Really enjoyed breakfast here! A little pricy but this is the beach and overall worth it to me. The inside is so pretty! Outside seating as well. Honestly the menu looked so good, I wanted to try everything! The coffee menu is so fun! The chips ahoy iced latte was epic lol I love the board options where you can try a few things. The cinnamon bun French toast was delicious. Perfect size so it wasn't toooo much sweetness. The breakfast egg rolls were interesting and full of flavor! I had to sneak a few bites of the grits from my Dad's creole shrimp and grits meal...so good and creamy. Can't wait to try more of this menu and stop by again. Friendly service as well!

I visited Green Eggs Cafe and everything on their menu captivated my attention . There are so many things on their menu I wanted to try, it's so hard to choose! I had to try their Vegan Creme Brûlée French Toast. Initially I thought, could a vegan dish compare to a classic French Toast?! Of course it did! The whipped cream and berry compote added a nice tart flavor to counter the sweetness. -check me out Faceless_food_

Theeeee breakfast spot ! Everything we got was delicious, doesn't only look great tastes great !

2024, Bennie yolks still perfect, generous fruit bowl, reasonable price (about $17), the quality continues!

Just wanted to add an update saying a year after my first review, Green Eggs is still 5 stars excellent. Nice to see the quality continue! (Can't say that for some other places.) The Eggs Bennie was perfect, the side of fruit still sweet and generous. One addition this time is my son's Cookie Dough French Toast. Probably too sweet for a meal, but if you want to share something sweet for the table, this would be a great option.

Very cute new spot for breakfast, the menu looked very fresh. I like that they do not include any additional sugar in the smoothies. We ordered the guacamole benedict's. The order came out different from what we had communicated with the waitress, but everyone was very accommodating! I loved the pickled red pepper & the poached egg was cooked to perfection. While they have some kinks to work out, this is a great new spot!

Service- A+ nice waitress but silverware was forgotten The name speaks volumes about this place. My omelette had HAM instead of the bacon I asked for. Also the potatoes had onion and potatoes even tho they are called the signature potatoes. Underwhelming and now I feel gross bc I ate my FRIENDS pancake bc mine sucked. Also too much cheese.

Yum!! We stopped here for an impromptu breakfast and were surprisingly seated right away! It was so hard to pick just one thing from the menu because there were so many delicious options. I decided on the caramel banana French toast and our orders came out quick! The French toast was so good! The thick cut slices were buttery and sweet. I could not finish the plate by myself. I would definitely come back to try more!

Great breakfast! Unusual choices and huge servings! Enjoyed my "cafe bombon " similar to a Bieyndnese coffee with espresso and sweetened condensed milk. During a kitchen delay, The manager came out to offer us complimentary coffee and juice .

Run don't walk to the best breakfast place in town. I will literally be dreaming of my shrimp and grits for years to come. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was very pleasant, we really liked the updated decor that was both clean and classic. Will definitely be coming back soon!

    Had an amazing breakfast.

We had an amazing breakfast! Good food, great service. Despite being very crowded our server made sure to check in regularly to see if we needed anything. Five of us in our group and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Unfortunately, after tonight we will never be going back, and I can't recommend it to anyone in good faith. The service we received was so so so disappointing. I would love for this place to improve and for this corner to find a home. At this rate, I just can't see it lasting until summer 2026. Summary below: - We ordered a few items for dinner, and received an estimate of 35-40 minutes. All good so far. - We show up after 40 minutes and nobody comes up to us at the counter for at least 5-6 minutes. Ok, fine. We tell them we're picking up and they go check on things. Keep in mind there are probably 4 people eating in this restaurant and no takeout line to speak of. - After a full hour they finally bring us a brown bag, and tell us it's all ready except for the chicken salad wrap we ordered, which they don't have on hand unfortunately. - "So when did you uncover this???" 10 minutes ago they say. Remember we've been here for 20. Would have been nice to know maybe when we ordered, or at least when we showed up 20 minutes ago?? - We say fine just grab us a Caesar salad, that should allow us to get out of here quickly. - After another 15 minutes (!) they finally bring us our Caesar salad. It has now been a total of 1:15 since our order. - After this ordeal they have the audacity to try to charge us an extra $15 on the bill!! When they tell me to swipe my card luckily I have the presence of mind to review things -- "um, this looks higher than I heard on the phone?" Sure enough, the total was incorrect and they tried to over-charge me. I really don't want to dump on The Grubb but it was just a sad sad experience and we were really so disappointed in the quality of service. It wasn't exactly overflowing with business on this night, and yet everyone seemed really overwhelmed and backed up (maybe understaffed or under-trained?). To make things worse, nobody was very apologetic or made much of an effort to make things right. We had such high hopes (the sandwiches are really great!) but after the worst takeout experience I've had on the island, I will never order from here again. :( - 6/21/2025

We arrived just after opening and found seating very easily. Between 9 and 10:30 the inside started really filling up with folks, so if you're an early riser, stop in early. I had the Cuban - Cuban roast, muddled sugar and steamed milk. It was flipping delicious!!! The breakfast menu had choices for all palates. My wife had an omelet, my mother a stack of pancakes with strawberries and our friends raved about the pumpkin patch French toast and veggie omelet. I had two over-easy eggs with rye toasted and pork roll. I know my choice was a safe pick, but I was happy with the comfort of the basics! Everyone devoured their food and left happy and full. The prices weren't terrible and the portions were large. I can't say a bad thing about our visit to Jon & Patty's. Thanks guys!!

It's literally part of the Pavilion at 8th and Atlantic, beach block. Hard to imagine a better location for foot traffic. Therefore we settled on huevos rancheros and the breakfast tacos. Wow! again. Everything is cooked to order and was crazy fresh. I mean garden fresh. The onions were sweet and crunchy. The tomatoes were firm and juicy. The black beans were delicious. For both dishes the street taco sized tortillas were freshly grilled, crispy edges and delicate centers that didn't break despite being generously filled. We also got a side order of home fries that were kind of magical. No ads-ins, onions or pepper. No additional salt to be detected. Just small potatoes cut in halves and wedges, subtle, even seasoning throughout. Simple. Absolutely delicious. Our only regret was finding Brenda's on the last morning of our stay but we come down a couple times a summer and will absolutely put this on top rotation! Loved everything about our visit. Kudos to Brenda and her family.
