Great service, but the food wasn't good at all. Wouldn't come back because of the food, but the people working were very sweet and friendly. The cheesesteak barely had any meat in it! Bacon Egg and Cheese Omelete- 3/10 Blueberry Pancakes- 7/10 Philly Cheesesteak- 5/10 Dorset Croissant- 7/10 Avocado Toast- 3.5/10

The ambiance is very clean and cozy, with ample indoor seating as well as outdoor seating to the side of the building. They have their own parking lot so you don't have to find street parking. While it gets busy here on the weekends, we came on a rainy day and were the only people inside for maybe 30 mins. Service was absolutely wonderful, and the menu is robust with ample options for vegetarians. Even the kids menu had delicious choices and not your standard fare, plus there was beautiful plating on the kids menu items too. My only issue is that there is a credit card surcharge that was captured on the receipt. When we paid, we paid in cash instead to avoid the surcharge, but the bill was not adjusted.

I mean talk about a cute and beach-y breakfast place. The decor and vibe of this restaurant is perfect for where it is located. Stepping into this place was such a breath of fresh air. It was not super crowded which was a surprise to us and it made for a very positive experience. The staff was attentive and efficient. The waitress was quick to take our order and happy to answer any questions we had. We each got an entree and I was insistent on getting a short stack of pancakes for the table which I did not regret. My friend got one of the avocado toasts and I got the short rib benedict, so I can attest that both of those options are top notch choices! I truly don't think you can go wrong here, I imagine it can be very crowded on the busy summer weekends but its worth the wait.

Loved our first visit to The Dorset today!!! Delicious food and lattes at reasonable prices with friendly service!!! Very comfortable outside seating with umbrellas to provide the right amount of shade. Can't wait to go back!!!!

The dorset is a family favorite! We love going to try all the new specials each weekend but also love their fish platters and omelettes!

After making a once around in this area to see what they had to offer I came back to this establishment to dine for the evening. Upon entry I was greeted warmly and timely. I was immediately led to an actual table and had menu in hand. This was nice, just because I am dining alone doesn't mean I want to sit at a bar and feel separated from the rest of the building. I had some time to look over the menu before the server arrived. I made it simple for him as I already knew exactly what I wanted, from drink to appetizer to entree. I just stayed with water for the meal as I wasn't in the mood for anything sweet. For my appetizer I went with the Soft Pretzel and the entree was the Hangover. The Soft Pretzel is basically your jumbo pretzel. This comes served with honey mustard and cheese sauce for dipping. When this came out on the hook, it was piping hot and had the right amount of pretzel salt. This thing is massive and could easily serve as a meal for one. I picked at it until my burger came out. I also ended up taking a lot of this back to my room for snacking later in the evening. When my burger showed up I was not disappointed. As a side note, burgers are served with fries, but you can upgrade the side if you like. But at $3 for a small upgrade, no thank you, a different type of potato or a salad doesn't equal that much money. That is just my opinion. Off my soapbox now, let's discuss the burger. The Hangover is typically an 8 oz. patty freshly ground in house everyday. You can substitute for a turkey burger, black bean burger, or grilled chicken at no charge, but have to pay for a side upgrade...I digress. This particular burger is topped with an over easy egg, bacon and American cheese. More of a breakfast burger than a hangover cure to me. This thing was one of the best patty to bun ratio burgers I have ever had. I was pleasantly surprised that the patty actually looked a bit bigger than the bun. When you pop the yolk of the egg, that just adds a bit more flavor to the burger. Perfectly cooked to your liking, the bacon was crispy, they egg made it messy and the cheese held it all together. The fries were a perfect match to this, even though they make it seem like they are the basic side to this dish. If you are a yolk person, the fries are a great vessel to get any that may have dropped to the plate. I made sure to finish this and try to look like I wasn't shoving it my mouth at the same time. It was delicious. My server was excellent. Checked on me the appropriate amount of times. Was attentive to my needs and I didn't feel rushed in my dining experience. Much better than other places.

A happy hour event was also on the calendar for Thursday, meant to be a cheerful punctuation mark on a long work week. Then came the news: Wingcraft had closed its doors forever. No warning, no farewell, no wings. It is strange to feel stood up by a restaurant, but that is how it felt. One moment there was a place with burgers and beer flights, a hum of televisions and bar chatter, and the next there was only silence and a locked door. We were left wandering near the Convention Center, hungry and confused, like pilgrims whose holy site had vanished overnight. I give it two stars because once upon a time, the food was decent and the beer cold. But the sudden disappearance left us stranded, and the city felt emptier for it. Atlantic City is cruel like that, swallowing places whole and leaving only echoes where the laughter used to be.

The ice cream, soft serve, and frozen dessert choice variety is fantastic, despite the price being astronomical and varying greatly every time I go. The addition of the burger bar felt gimmicky at first, but they really put out delicious quality food. Here's my issue that's making it incredibly painful every time I now visit the dairy bar. Let me start with saying Margate is a special place in the summer. The town is overflowing with families ready to spend money, including their teen aged kids. Margate teens don't have a lot of places outside their house to hang out anymore. With the beach curfew and the club wa crack down, the kids are more spread out and looking for somewhere to go that isn't their parent's house. I am NOT asking the dairy bar to be the new club wa, or the place where all the teenagers can hang out without buying anything. But my god, the hostile environment that is created by going over the loud speaker and saying "if you're not a paying customer or giving money to MY buisness, get off MY picnic tables/get out of MY lines/get off MY sidewalk" and "this isn't a free park, it's a business. Buy something or leave," said with the most condescending tone, makes me want to football spike my ice cream cone on the perfectly power washed sidewalk. I mean my god, MOST of these kids have their parents Amex cards. Should you tell the kids to cut it out if there's 10 of them trying to flip over a table at peak business time? If they're vaping into your window at your employees? Absolutely. Do you need to chase every group of kids away before they step foot in line or ask if they can use the bathroom? Maybe not. One of my favorite memories is going to the dairy bar and listening to the jazz band in a long line to get birthday cake ice cream. Another one is being a teenager with my friend, getting cups of water, and sharing one water ice among 2 of us because we spent most of our allowance money for the week already. The hostile and uninviting environment that has been created and seems to be way more aggressive this year than past is not only unappealing, it's borderline disturbing. If your greatest enemy is a 14 year old boy with a supreme backpack and an alo sweatshirt, maybe you should think about your priorities. Treating teenagers as disrespectfully as possible and being surprised when they treat you the same back shouldn't be that shocking. This place that has some of my most cherished memories is now a cringe fest. Being a little kinder to the clientele (even if they aren't buying something until their parents finish dinner at Steve and cookies) and trying to limit your "zingers" at gen z over the loudspeaker could be beneficial to decreasing the god awful vibes you've created. Hope you can work on that, and maybe adding rum raisin to the menu.

First of all, bravo to them for offering an affordable menu during select times--something rare these days! I was initially drawn to their LG plain pizza, which was priced reasonably between 2pm-5pm around $11 (not $28 like many places!). While the cheesesteak wasn't part of the Happy Hour deal, I was so impressed by the rest of their menu that I decided to give it a try, along with an order of cheese fries. Let me tell you, this is the spot I've been searching for in Atlantic County. I was nearly in tears because everything was just that good. The Philly cheesesteak? Glorious. It's massive--basically like two full cheesesteaks in one--and the flavors are incredible. It's fresh, perfectly seasoned, and easily one of the best sandwiches I've had since Gino's. No exaggeration. The pizza? Beautiful. It was perfectly made, fresh, and delicious. Even the cheese fries were warm, fresh, and made with care. What truly impressed me were the little details--Sappore sent paper plates, ketchup, and utensils with my order. I can't remember the last time a place went above and beyond like that. They genuinely care about their food and customers, and it shows. I don't eat out often, but when I do, I expect food to be worth the money and far from mediocre. Sappore delivered in every way. 5 stars all the way! I can't wait to order from them again. Keep up the amazing work!
