Bought a 2019 chevy colorado 9 months ago with extended warranty. The rear tail light went out so I went to change it but the bulb was corroded in. I called towne up to make an appointment to get it fixed also needed to get passenger seat fixed it rattles. They fixed seat once before. They said 438.00. I ask why do I have to pay they said the extended warranty doesn't cover corroded lights. 3500.00 extended warranty doesn't cover the light socket because it was corroded. I can only say better things! I had a safety recall that was addressed today by this dealership. Dropped the Jeep off during the night and really thought nothing of it. Woke up this AM and realised that maybe the dealership might also be able to do an oil change -- the JKU gets cranky about it oil issues, tells me in no uncertain terms that an oil change is necessary. I call, long after the drop off and ask if perhaps an oil change might be doable. Not only was it doable, IT WAS FREE!!!!! Good day! First oil change for my Blue Baby at this establishment. 2014 Jeep Patriot manual transmission gears chopped into pieces while on a trip from Missouri to Vermont. This was the closest place we could limp the Jeep to using only 4th gear. They had it for a week and a half while we took a rental to Vermont. Drove the rental back and picked up the Jeep with a new clutch and transmission. Thirty minutes west on I-90, transmission goes out again. This time, it won't shift into fifth and smells like it's burning. Now stuck again. Absolutely worthless. read more

Went with my father a few months ago to purchase a car I picked out online because of the great price they offered. Get there and the issues kept piling up. First their internet went out and they could not make any transactions. Told us to come back, had to remind them we drove from 75 miles away. Would not be making a second trip. We came to purchase and take delivery. No backup to the internet. If we leave all transactions are off. I then suggested, bring the car and all necessary paperwork to us and complete the transaction. Actually got attitude from the sale manger directed at the salesperson about that suggestion. Had to remind him, we as the customer, we could easily take our business to a competitor. Reluctantly, the sales manager agreed. Wow!! In addition, during the transaction when going over the financing, tell me, how does a finance manager forget a 5K down payment? Had to remind the finance manager of the cash down payment we provided on several occasions on behalf of my father. That was a HUGE red flag for me. Finance manager says, that was a mistake. Mistake, 5K mistake....seriously? And you are the finance manager, really? My father is far more patient than I regarding bad treatment. I take the position, "You going to respect me and my money" if you want it. I don't need any butt kissing nor do I want it but you will respect that I made the choice to purchase from you. ***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** - Strap in this is going to be a long one folks Unfortunately, I seem to be an outlier here. I received the WORST experience and customer service that I have ever encountered. I literally had to fight tooth and nail in order to get my vehicle registered due to this dealer's incompetencies. Not what I expected when purchasing a 43K car. The synopsis includes no car registration after 1 month grace period, getting lied to, extreme lack of communication, the dealership requiring calls from my state (Colorado) requesting tax monies, request from dealership for a good faith Power of Attorney for my new vehicle... I know, at this point you must be asking, "This must be a dream". But no folks this is as real as it gets. You can't make this kind of stuff up. Everybody was pretty nice before I gave my down payment of 15K and signing that loan paperwork but afterwards I became a piece of decayed gum on the bottom of their soles. My salesperson Joseph P. never returned any of my calls where I requested aid numerous times in order to attain the right documentation to register my car. The title clerk, Sandra F., had the short end of this stick as she was trying to clean everyone's dirty clothes from this filthy transaction. After a month my state received no paperwork or tax checks for me to get my registration and tags. This was 30 days after the transaction and at which time temp tags are now expired. She eventually attempted to gain Power of Attorney for my vehicle in order to have a 3rd party in Florida complete the registration. I almost obliged but she had no idea who would be addressed on this paperwork and the timeframe needed in order to expire POA. She had no name and no company name and she requested POA for my car. Who does this kind of stuff? I never heard back from her since. I called a week later demanding copy of title-work so I can register my car. I spoke to a guy who's name I did not get unfortunately. He was my shining knight of armor. He sent all the needed paperwork for me to register my car by myself. I thought the comedy was finally over. Jim S. - whom I was told is the GM must hate checking his phone and messages or either avoids complications. I called and left messages on 3 different occasions over a span of time in order to inform him on these unfortunate events. To this day I have not heard from him. Apples do not fall far from trees and this tree is dropping rotten apples. After my knight in shining armor sent the right stuff I skipped and hopped to the registration office like a little kid on the last day of school. Remember, at this time I have an expired tag and a new car that I have not driven for almost a month. I handed all the proper documentation to the clerk so that I can finally get my plates and registration. After review of said paperwork it was explained to me that taxes have not been received from dealership and that I need to go to the County Hall to HOPEFULLY get exempt from paying taxes twice. We are talking about almost 4K in taxes that I already paid in New York. At this time my head is spinning and lightning bolts are flying out my eyes as if Zeus himself had received this news personally. I put on a good poker face and smile politely. I head to the County Hall and this is where I found my second knight of shining armor, Adam. He reviewed the paperwork and said that he needs to reach out to the dealership to seek information of tax monies that have not been received yet. Not only is he a knight but now he has to be Sherlock Holmes as well. He called and requested a check to be sent so that the state/county can get paid. After a few days pass the check was received and I got my golden ticket... aka tax waiver! What a disaster this was for me. I lost numerous days of work, wasted time at registration office/ County Hall, could not drive my new car, lost a few layers of my stomach lining, and had to order Propecia to now replace the lost hairs on my head from all the stress I had to bear. read more

I just helped my daughter purchase a used car from here. Communication between employees is very poor. The complete process took a week. After demanding that a scratch on the cars side be fixed or no deal, they finally decided to fix it. On pick up my daughter was given 1 key and key fob, she asked about the spare set. We were directed to a local Chevy dealership were we went. The Chevy dealership had to call Towne 2x for a PO number, while communicating between the two dealerships we ended up with one additional key and no fob. They said that they put enough money into the car already and the spare key was a friendly jesture.
