For those who don't know, Utah hotels have been open....so i took a trip! I booked this hotel in hopes for a restful get out of town trip. Towneplace Suites was nestled back along the cliffs, driving up you'll find that the exterior looks very home-like. Check in: Quick and easy! Hotel room key in hand very promptly. The ROOM: or shall i say the suite i booked was very nice. You'll notice the the space in the room was used very very well. Everything was compact and fit perfectly. The bed had a textured comforter and was exceedingly comfortable. Next to the bed was an in suite hot tub! The bathroom was adequate and had an in shower dispenser with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The shampoo was a tea tree based product which was amazing. HOTEL: Around the hotel property was a large outdoor hottub, pool and gas grill area. There was also a laundry facility and fitness center which is currently closed. The lobby has a small market, but also in the lobby is a breakfast area. The breakfast was a great amenity, Bagels cereal and things of that nature. The hotel is QUIET. Even outside you don't hear a peep. What an excellent stay!

Pros: * Neat closet system-lots of organized space with shelves, racks, drawers, etc. * Kitchenette-cook in your room (basic dishes are furnished) * Games & playing cards available to check out from the front desk * Comfortable bed! Cons: * Small sleeping room and bathroom * Less than friendly front desk staff when we checked in For a small party of 2, this place is fine. But if you've got a couple of kids, you might feel cramped once you pull out the sofa bed. The kitchen area butts up to the door. Overall, it's got the basics, it's just very compact.

Pros: Comfortable beds and great central location. It has a very nice kitchen set up. Beautiful pool and courtyard area in the back. Cons: Parking is a bit tight. The rooms are a little small and cramped. Very small bathroom. Seems a bit older.

Bathroom had toilet paper laying in used roll on toilet tank. How is this not repaired? April 6,2019. Room 326

Stay. Saturday April 6, 2019. One night to attend Tuacahn PBR show. Hotel exterior looks great. Parking was totally full on Saturday evening. Smaller breakfast area. Breakfast Sunday morning had only fried eggs, yuck. Turkey sausage, that MARRIOTT serves is gray and awful in my opinion. Our room was a huge disappointment. 336. King bed. Tiny bathroom toilet, tub area. Barely useable. Toilet paper hanger had clearly been off the wall a very long time. Peeling paint. Tile floor doesn't look very clean. Bed firm and ok, it's a budget Marriott after all. The Tiny TV was mounted so you could not see it from bed or sofa. It faced only window. It was Not mounted on a swing arm pullout. It was a fixed mount. I verified this with front desk. It's about. 22" tv. We were going out to watch bull riding anyway so we didn't need tv but it would not be an option in these rooms. I choose not to stay in this hotel again.

Overall this TownPlace Suites was a good stay. The front desk was helpful and kind and the breakfast was well made with a good selection. My room was clean and well put together when I arrived. Marriott Hotels are my favorite places to stay in the world. One reason is... the beds. They have the best beds. Unfortunately, this time I had one of the worst beds. It was so uncomfortable I barely slept. I would stay here again, just not in room 217.

    Huge gab. Super noise

The good: - Hotel is in a wonderful location, very easy access to the rest of town and all destinations. - Decent swimming pool. - Good excercise and laundry facilities. - Great front desk staff and housekeeping. All very nice! The bad (reasons for 2 stars): - The hotel skimps whenever possible. The pullout bed it cheap and uncomfortable and the little things are skimped on. - Breakfast is not good. Mediocre would be generous. We literally saw them take the fried eggs out if the freezer and warm them up. That's what they taste like too. Selection is substandard compared to other TownePlace brands we've been to. - The gap under the door was huge. I could hear everything going on outside my room. I was woken up several times throughout the night. Look at my picture.

If you are looking for a beautiful well kept big clean hotel room and are anywhere near St. George you gotta stay here. This place must recruit their staff from the customer service A list team. This team here just makes you feel at home. The rooms will help you get some rest.

Hello road warriors! If you're looking for the Ritz Carlton this is not it. BUT it's not a Ritz Carlton price either. If you're looking for a new, clean and fairly modern place to rest your head on soft pillows with nice amenities like a mini kitchen you have found it! This is our second year in a row staying here on the way to Colorado and we like it! Reserve a room with 2 queen beds and pullout couch for extra room.

So...I decided to go with my old faithful La Quinta...and let me tell you...this place is good! Lots of spaces in the lobby to hang out. It has a pool and a well stocked little snack store. The staff is nice. They have a breakfast and you know it looked typical. Breakfast ends at 10 but it was nearly check out time (11am) and the food was still out at around 10:30. I asked if I was able to eat since it was still set up and the staff was cleaning up. Everything looked so fresh. I have to say this was the BEST breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. I mean, if I had gone to a breakfast restaurant that was sit down and I was served this plate. I would've happily paid for it. The potatoes were nice and spicy but not hot, the eggs were seasoned. The muffin wasn't dried out at all. There was also sausage bacon, a waffle station, bagels, biscuits, bread to toast, selection of juices and coffees. There was cereal. It was just really good. My room was clean and smelled good. I was having a really bad vacation my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Anyway my situation requires me to stay another night overnight in St. George next week so I will absolutely be staying here...it was the breakfast that really sealed the deal. I was going to give this a five anyway even without the breakfast included, but that put it over the top. When I got to the front desk, the lady who was working, asked me if I had any special requests and I said yes I would like a room that doesn't have anyone next-door to it and close to an elevator and she was so accommodating and she found me the perfect room. I was checked in around 9pm.

The best part about this room was the sink was separate from the shower and toilet area. That means one person can shower while the other is drying their hair. I was in town for a work convention and conference, and this location turned out to be a great choice. The staff was welcoming and professional, always greeting me with a smile and making sure I had what I needed. The customer service stood out to me because they were attentive without being overbearing, which made me feel well taken care of. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a modern design that made it easy to relax after a long day. The bed was excellent, and everything from the bathroom amenities to the room layout was thoughtfully put together. The hotel itself has a bright, fresh atmosphere that makes a good impression the moment you walk in. The lobby and common areas were tidy and inviting, which added to the overall sense of comfort. The breakfast was convenient and had a nice variety, and the location is great if you're attending events at the convention center since it's right there. The only reason I'm giving this stay 4 stars instead of 5 is because I did run into an issue during my visit. While it was frustrating at first, management and World of Hyatt worked quickly with me to resolve the problem, and by the end of my stay everything had been made right. I appreciated how seriously they took the situation, and it gave me confidence to continue booking with Hyatt in the future. All in all, this property has a lot going for it great service, comfortable rooms, and a convenient location. I truly enjoyed my stay and I look forward to coming back again, hopefully with everything going smoothly from start to finish. This Hyatt has the potential to easily be a 5-star experience.

That changed the moment I walked in. I was greeted by some of the nicest people I have ever met. They could tell we were tired from the road and treated us with real kindness. Our room was ready, and they handed us water, snacks, and warm fresh cookies. What kind of silliness was this. Awesome!!!! The room was well equipped with a fridge, microwave, and a bright, clean bathroom. You can tell they recently renovated because everything looked fresh and updated. I went back downstairs to ask about the chargers on the side of the building and how much they cost. They told me it was complimentary. No cost at all. I plugged in at 40 percent and woke up to a full charge at 100 percent. That alone made my morning. Breakfast the next day was another pleasant surprise. The ladies running the breakfast area were so nice, even when my daughter got a little too excited with the sprinkles for her waffle. They even had a sign saying they could adjust food for dietary needs. The whole setup was clean and welcoming. They also have a great little snack shop, and again the front desk staff stood out. I cannot stress this enough. These were some of the nicest people I have ever met at a hotel. Even though it was just an overnight stay, I really enjoyed it. Literally zero human interaction Room-Small but efficiently designed, always clean with a few toiletries provided. Bed & pillows are very comfortable and offer a great nights sleep. Most people bring their own products, myself included. Also, most people take extra home with intentions of using them and guess what, they collect in a random drawer in the guest bath for years until they move or die then someone throws dozens of wasted plastic and expired products in the trash. Ty hotels for saving is all the headache! Also, the brand Tru offers smells so good! Gym-24/7 access which we love. It's on the smaller aide but offers an impressive amount of equipment. 2 treadmills, an elliptical, 1 weight bench, weights 5-40 lbs, stability straps which I loved, a Bosu, 3 stability balls, several matts and a box for jumping. Think I saw a few Kettles too. Free Breakfast-Always impressed with what's offered for free at the free breakfast here. Scrambled eggs and some type of breakfast protein is always offered. Oatmeal with tons of fixings, yogurt, cereals, several juices, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and the most popular item...the mini pancakes! There are 2 pancake machines you simply wave your hand in front of and makes you a little hot fresh pancake! There were multiple toppings including sugar free syrup. Refreshments-24/7 regular & decaf coffee and hot water for tea. 2 flavors to choose for cream, a few types of sweeteners. It's really great coffee too! In the morning there ice water & citrus infused water. Common Areas-For as small as the lobby os it has several seating areas to sit and work on your lap top, eat, or play games with the family. Tru does a great job at providing family entertainment too with big screens to watch tv on, a pool table and lots of games to play too! We don't spend mich time at the hotel outside of sleeping, a workout and a quick bite before hitting the road but we're always hapoy with our stays. We will be back!

We arrived really late at night, around 2:30-3:00 AM, and ended up standing outside the hotel entrance for about 10-15 minutes because nobody was at the front desk. We were calling the front desk number and nobody answered. Luckily, there happened to be another guest sitting in the lobby -- honestly a blessing at that hour -- and he let us inside so we weren't stuck outside in the cold. Even after getting inside, we still waited another 10 minutes or so before someone from the front desk finally showed up. We called the front desk number again while inside and still got no answer. Overall, it took close to 20-25 minutes just to see an attendant and get checked into the room. I stay at a lot of IHG hotels and have some level of membership with them, and at most locations it's pretty common to at least be greeted warmly or offered something simple like points or water bottles. Unfortunately, when the attendant finally showed up after the long wait, it honestly looked like she didn't care at all. I even asked if they had any water bottles available and she simply said no. She just didn't seem welcoming or interested in being there, which was disappointing considering a hotel front desk is a customer service role. Once we finally got into the room though, everything was fine and pretty standard with no other issues during the stay.
