The disgusting rooms and hotel overall. I wish there was a selection for 0 stars. As I sit here in this disgusting room with 2 TVs that do not work I am appalled this is acceptable to the Marriott brand. When I arrived in the lobby no one was at the front desk and I noticed there were almost bare shelves in the snack area/wall. Maybe two options and several packs of laundry soap. Then a man emerged from the back room and checked me in. Not professionally dressed by hotel standards but whatever. I noticed the desk or table in that back room was just littered with junk and items lying in their side. Terrible. However, check in was super fast and easy. He didn't even ask for my ID or credit card. I travel a lot for business and have NEVER checked in to a hotel without being asked for both. So I proceeded to the elevator. As I waited for the elevator I noticed the man was wearing flip flops or those slide shoes. Also started to notice the condition of the space thus far. Ice machine out of order and one of the dryers out of order. I head up to my room which was right next to the elevator. As soon as the elevator door opens I get a faint smell of Chinese food or something along with air freshener like the kind you would smell in an old car. It's late, I'm tired, I'm hungry so I ignore it. I get into my room and WOW what a skeevy disappointment. Carpet frayed in a couple areas, holes in the arm of the 1980's couch, ripped seat cushion in the kitchen table, dirty fork in the sink with food remnants stuck to the bottom of the sink, dirty stove top from food and it was so beat up with scratches and wear. The floor in the bathroom is cheap vinyl planks that are uneven my sock got caught in it. Thank God I carry Clorox wipes with me because they are a definite must. So I get in and start to settle. I attempt to turn the TV on in the bedroom. No go. The remote is lit up but won't turn on the TV. So I get up and turn it on directly from the TV. Success! However it says No Signal. I play with it for a bit and then attempt same with the living room TV. Nope. Doesnt work. No Signal again. After about 20 mins of this nonsense I call the front desk to let him know and he suggested I turn in the TV by the TV itself. I confirmed that. He said well we don't have anyone here to help with that but he'll send them up in the morning. WHAT?!?! So I went back troubleshooting again with the box behind the TV only to find a ton of dust bunnies and a tiny little bug or ant or something crawling out of it! Still no TV. I've been sneezing ever since and now have itchy watery eyes! I was hungry so I did order food and went down to meet the delivery guy. I overheard a lady sitting in the lobby tell the front desk man she got locked out of her room and was waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes for someone to help her!!! Unbelievable and ridiculous. After I ate and started getting really frustrated about the 2 non working TVs so I went downstairs to the lobby to ask for a room change. Waiting about 5-6 minutes and still no one showed up. I called from my cell phone and no answer after about 10 rings. Figures. So back to the room. As if I weren't annoyed enough, the old fashioned ac unit kicked on (I had to turn on earlier and set because they were both turned off and the room was muggy and warm) and i forgot how loud they can be-you know the ones that are under the windows and you have to lift the little door to access the controls-they are super loud in the bedroom. I wouldn't be able to hear the TV anyway. So as I sit here & type this review I should only feel lucky to have burnt orange walls to stare at in the ONLY available hotel room within about 20 miles because nothing else, and I mean nothing, is available tonight because a concert is in town. Believe me, I've spent an hour checking again after all this. I will be asking for a refund. I'm going to try and attach some pictures. I am traveling on business and this is definitely NOT the place to stay. This is awful. Can't wait for breakfast!! (NOT). Saw those reviews. I will avoid.Beware of the positive reviews. The staff is very nice! The hotel could use some tlc. It's a but rundown with cracks in the sink and gouges in the floor. The wifi is slow and the walls are thin. The room was clean and they give you a nice welcome gift upon arrival which makes me feel bad about not wanting to stay here next time I'm in town. I could've probably overlooked the cosmetic stuff but the thin walls are awful when you're trying to sleep or even relax. read more

The staff was very nice. No ice tray. TV cable not connected had to have someone fix this. The lock was broken and maintenance had to fix. Does not seem like anyone checks the rooms. We stayed here for almost two weeks while our house was on the market and people were coming to view it. In this new work from home life, with 2 cats and a toddler, it was too hard to manage keeping our house clean and presentable. We needed somewhere that was relatively cheap, close enough to home that we could go back and get things as needed, and allowed pets. We called before booking and talked to them about the need to leave early or extend our stay if there was/wasn't any interest in our house. They said they'd work with us, which they did as we ended up leaving 3 days earlier than we'd booked for. We got a room that had 2 bedrooms and a separate living area. It was nice to put our son to bed and have an area for my husband to work as he works evenings, and I could go to bed while he was working. I found the beds quite comfortable and our room wasn't too noisy. Due to covid they couldn't put on the usual breakfast they offered but instead had paper bags made up with an apple, bottle of water, granola bar and muffin/cake. Odd breakfast but ok. You could get fresh linen and towels after 5 days if you took what you had down to reception. But otherwise the room was only serviced upon check out. The hallways seemed to only get vacuumed once a week. Someone had dropped what looked like box staples near the lift doors and they sat there for several days. The pool was still open and loads of delivery people getting around the place every night from the lines of DoorDash/Grubhub. Having the little kitchen was great but there wasn't much in the way of utensils or knives. Other reviewers mentioned asking at reception if you need something. We didn't have much luck with that so we just got what we needed from home. I'm sure I could have asked from more trash bags but didn't and bought my own. Although our whole building was non smoking, there was a regular smell of pot in the corridors/stairways most mornings and night. It seemed to have lessened by the time we were moving out so perhaps all the pot heads moved out just before us. read more

Stayed at the Towneplace for a couple of nights during the beginning of the week. I've stayed at this hotel a few years ago. Marriott loyalty members are greeted with a Chocolate bar and bottled water. The rooms are suites with full kitchens. Furniture had been updated as well rooms have received a refresh since my last stay. Some of the hallways and parts of the hotel do need an update. I was on the top floor (3rd). Walls, door seemed thin as I could hear others as they were walking in the hallway/going to their rooms. They don't have a gym so passes are available for Colorado Athletic Club which is about 5 minutes away in Inverness. Their continental breakfast (limited) had me longing for European hotel breakfasts. That said, you can cook your own mega breakfast in your room if you like. They also have a green option where you get rewards points for declining housekeeping if you stay 2 nights or more. The ladies that checked me in and out were excellent. Smiles for days and great job with the welcome to the hotel! Good value for money. read more

When you pull in there are two buildings. The thing is there are no clear signs where to check-in or anything. It's the building next to the pool. As you walk-in there are card readers on the doors so I didn't know if I could open it or not but hey they're both open. The place looks nice on the outside but the inside is quite dated. I mean you can see where they tried. But hey you have a kitchen and you can cook! The staff are also very helpful and kind. The three stars are for the bunnies that comes outside from the bushes at night time when I went out for a smoke. read more

A great spot! Location is perfect. Room was super clean with a great set up and conveniences. Crisp, fresh linens. Breakfast was great, and the breakfast area is a great set up with delicious coffee. It was gross. Couldn't check in on the app, frustrating. Room was clean at first glance, but check the photos... Bathroom fan was full of dirt. Bathroom floorboards were filthy. The toilet had some mysterious red fluid on it. There was a temporary hook in the bathroom that was rusted. Pulled out the sofa sleeper to find it stained in 2 places. Had to go request sheets for it, even though we slept on the couch instead. The kitchenette sink was dirty upon arrival. The breakfast was not very appealing. Will not stay there again. read more

I'm so tired writing this after a horrible night of sleep here. This place is very dated. First of all, when you pull in, there are 2 buildings labeled with letters. Neither of which tell you where the check in/front desk is and there is no designated parking for check in. The front office is under construction. I will say the reason for 2 stars was the nice staff. Otherwise this place would get 1 star. My room was smaller than other Towneplace Suites I've stayed in. There are adjoining doors which made me oh so lucky to hear every word, sneeze and couch of the crowd and dog staying in the room next to me. Watch your head getting in and out of the shower if you are taller than 5'8". And there is no where to put your bathroom items. The towels are cheap. I'm very glad I was only in town for 1 night because I would have had to switch hotels if I was forced to stay longer. read more

I expect so much more from a Marriott! This is a card key access building. One of the security doors that gives access to a main staircase was not functioning. The key card swipe device was completely disconnected so the door handle was duct taped in the open position. This allowed anyone to just open the door and head into the building. For a building marketed as a "security building" this is very poor. It should be noted that inside the door there is a sign stating to keep the door closed for security! The duct tape was removed during our stay but the door stayed permanently unlocked. The carpet in our room had several large black stains, (dinner plate sized), along with many smaller ones. The fabric on the furniture was worn to the point of thread bare. The upholstery was dirty enough that you did not want to sit on it. The thermostat kept malfunctioning. There were many holes in the walls in all areas from signs or other removed items that were not patched at all. The toilet seat was just plain dirty and extremely loose. The bath towels are even smaller than a Motel 6 towel and quite rough. Think school gym towel material. The front desk staff was collectively miserable. They all seemed to really dislike their job. The coffee maker included in the room might have never been cleaned. The pot was clean but the unit was caked with old coffee. Really nasty! Where is the quality and management that Marriott likes to boast about??? All in all a very disappointing stay with Marriott. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere as there are over 25 hotels within the area. read more

Had a great trip while I was out in Colorado. We stayed at this hotel which I thought was quite cute and perfect for what we needed it for. That is until the last day. I left my apple wireless headphones on the bed of the hotel room. I called immediately after I realized (as soon as we got to the airport, 30 minutes after), to inform management and ask if they could ship them to me. I explained that they were right on the bed and was told they'd check. A few moments go by and I'm told they don't have them but they will call after housekeeping is done. Later that evening I get a phone call back but miss it as I'm trying to answer and call back. I spoke with a nice young gentleman who told me that they headphones were found and how I should call back in the morning to give management my shipping info as they'd send them via Fed Ex with tracking. I did that. Next morning I am told that no one found the headphones that were found the night before and told to expect a call from management. No call came. I call back 2 days later and again am told management will call as it is a theft issue now...still no call. My headphone have tracking information on them and show they were left here and show that's the LAST PLACE they had been...yet no one has my over $200 wireless headphones all of a sudden. Now that I am back in Boston, the location of them is too far to track and find out where they would be. I literally have proof that they were left there and management hasn't even called to rectify the situation whatsoever. How can you call someone to confirm they have your stuff in front of them, then back track and say they don't and never follow up? read more

Stayed Friday thru Monday Oct 2019, My fiance and 9 year old (with anxiety) was stuck on elevator for an hour and had to rescued by fire department. They compensated us. Room reeked of marijuana and had to buy room spray. TV in the bedroom did not work, could not power on and off and turn up volume with remote which is was a inconvenience when you're tired and in the bed. Called maintenance 2x to fix, no outcome. Missing pans in room which we had to get from front desk.Room walls are paper thin and can hear outside traffic all day. Besides that, GREAT location and staff. Breakfast was good. read more

I've stayed here 4 times in all types of seasons over the pst few years, sometimes with my dog. The price is incredibly low what is available. I have family living right across the street! There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. By car there's a ton of stuff close by. The views of the mountains in three directions are amazing, and the eastern view of the sunrise as is as spectacular as the mountain sunset. The rooms are cleaned by friendly and hardworking staff. Each unit has a full kitchen and the front desk has loaner specially kitchen items if need be. There is in room coffee and tea supplies as well as at reception 24/7. There is an outdoor grille available. The beds are super comfy and are topped with a white cover which is bright. The windows open so fresh breezes can be enjoyed. In the winter months they shovel and ice/ sand the parking lot frequently. there are good clean washers and dryers. There is a pool. The bathrooms are good and the water is as hot as possible and lasts forever. The reception staff are extraordinarily patient and kind, both over the phone and face to face. Many people stay here in the winter because it's close to town but also close to the mountains. read more

Stayed here for the weekend while attending a convention and it was pretty nice. We had a big room with two bedrooms and a mini kitchen with a big fridge. This was great for storing all our food. The bathroom was a bit small but the shampoos they provide are really nice quality. Be careful about where you put your towels because I wanted to use mine more than once and I placed it on the chair to dry but it disappeared! Beds were comfy and pillows were really nice. I was able to open my window a bit to get some air in the room but unfortunately the parking lot was right there so it was a bit loud and sometimes people were smoking. Walls are a bit thin but this didn't prevent me from sleeping. Breakfast on Friday morning was great because they had eggs and turkey canadian bacon. On Saturday and Sunday though they only had waffles so no eggs :( Staff is cordial and I liked the tea station in the lobby. read more

My boyfriend and I went on a weekend Denver trip and stayed at this place - it was pretty great! Clean room (our thorough bedbug check yielded nothing suspicious) , an impressive kitchenette, and got it at a good price. The only issue we had was with the continental breakfast, their breakfast room is not anywhere near large enough for a crowd, but it wouldn't have been that bad if not for a few rude families also staying there (with their herd of kids and grandparents ambling around, of course). The staff even apologized for them demolishing the food and cutting in line etc. On that note, all the staff was really nice. Pool area is pretty small but well-kept. Close to the Park Meadows mall. We'd be happy to stay here again, though it is kind of out-of-the-way if you're looking to spend time in downtown Denver. read more

This is the hotel my company designated us to stay at for 3 weeks of meetings. Pros: very friendly staff Good sized rooms Nice kitchenette in the room (fridge, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher) Tv in both bedroom and living space Convenient location. Cons: Noisy. Misses on little details (see full explanation below) The breakfast So you know you're in for a noisy stay when the hotel provides ear plugs next to the bed. I was in a front facing room and every car (especially the trucks/snow plows) sounds like they are driving through your room. There's almost no separation between the rooms. At night I could hear my neighbors TV, it wasn't that loud, just no insulation. You can easily hear the neighbors above you, they seemed to fancy running the garbage disposal at 2am for some reason. The last night I stayed, the fire alarm was triggered when we got back from dinner. The fire department couldn't shut off the strobe lights in the halls/rooms, so we had to wait for the alarm company to come fix it. So about 2 hours of strobe lights, then the alarm company triggered the actual alarm when they were resetting so at 10pm I was startled to alertness. These things can happen, but there were other little things, for example the first day I got here I had 2 shampoos instead of a shampoo and conditioner (they got it right the next time), the half and half creamer in my room expired 2 months before I arrived. And yes, this last point is a little nit-picky, but the comforter was on the bed so the huge tag was at the head of the bed. I normally wouldn't be bothered, but it seems like there is a general lack of attention to detail. Bottom line, I wouldn't choose to stay here if I had any say. But if you're going to be long term, the room amenities were nice to have. read more

The hotel was okay. They are in the middle of a remodel so no parking. My big complaint was my credit card being charged multiple times... I booked through a third party (Priceline or Hotwire) and of course had a cc on file for incidentals. A few days later, I notice a charge for $112 on my card. Call the hotel. They apologized and said they would remove it. A few days later, it was removed. Look at my statement later in the month, and guess what... 20 days after charging my card and taking it off, they charge it again ($112). So at this point, my card has been ran TWICE for a room I paid for using a 3rd party in the first place. Is it customary for them to continue to charge people multiple times (when the card was just for incidentals in the first place)??? I would give it zero stars for the hassle if I could. I know we will NEVER stay there again! Spoke with the AGM who states for some reason instead of billing Priceline for my room, they kept billing me. Still not happy. Still won't stay there. Would still recommend people to not stay there, especially if they book through a 3rd party (unless they like being charged for the same room 3 times, once from Priceline and twice from the hotel). read more

I had an outstanding experience here . The best hotel experience so far in the US. The front desk is super polite and helpful. There is free breakfast , ample parking and close proximity to light rail, mall and other groceries . The entertainment in the room is fantastic and housekeeping is superb. I. Am. Impressed! We weren't sure where the LOBBY was because there wasn't a sign (that we saw) but went into where the pool was and found the lobby. Garrett at the front desk was exceptionally nice and welcoming. THEN gave us a little goodie bag when we checked in that included a water bottle. We travel a lot and have NEVER been given a goodie bag before. This totally impressed us. Room looks nice as well. Maybe less of a fan of the carpet but absolutely impressed with our service and quality of everything so far! read more

The people are nice, after issues with cleaning a few times it has been so much better. We are here for an extended stay so they were going to shampoo the carpets, while they were shampooing the machine broke and was spraying water so they said they'd be back Monday or Tuesday to finish. Still haven't heard about that. Placed a work order for the window that won't stay open to air out the room when I'm cooking with garlic or another strong seasoning and have to place a bar in the window which then makes it all wonky looking. The window in the bedroom blows raspberries when it's windy outside. The oven has stuff poured down in the hinges so it makes an awful noise when you open it. Placed a work order today for a broken dishwasher because it has standing water in the bottom... I was told they came and fixed it and it looks like housekeeping was trying to be nice and loaded the dishwasher but we came home to more standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher. So can't cook tonight or tomorrow because the kitchen has almost no counter space and I don't want the stink of standing water all in the room so I'm not going to leave the dishwasher open to let the stuff dry on it. It's a pretty big inconvenience and they can't fix it til Monday. But it was supposed to be fixed today. I will update my review later. read more

This has been such a wonderful stay. We have been here 2 weeks and the service is spectacular. I love your staff Jessy, they are an impressive group! I can't think of one single thing I'd change: The breakfast area is cozy, the lobby Is also cozy, and I have never approached the Front Desk and not been greeted cheerfully, including 1am when I demagnetized my key. Housekeeping is courteous and friendly, Houseman was awesome, and working in the kitchen is the most outgoing, fun young lady (whose name escapes me at the moment). Jannelle is just a joy, we can not thank her enough for her hospitality, friendliness and her just outgoing demeanor. Wonderful! The suites are clean, comfortable and set up with about everything you could need. We had a 2 br suite that was perfect for our family of 4 adults and an 18 month old. The best aspect of this property was the staff! They went far beyond the extra step to make our stay a wonderful vacation. We were celebrating our sons birthday and upon returning to the room we were greeted with birthday balloons and a small gift. What an unexpected treat ! The staff from the front desk to the breakfast attendant to the houseman and housekeepers were friendly, helpful and genuine. I would highly recommend staying here. read more

Kind of outdated hotel. When you see those old dial for temperature control, you know it's outdated. The sofa's cushion was peeling off, the supposedly newly made bed and pillow had some hair on it, but call to the front desk fixed that up pretty quickly. Other area was cleaner than other towneplace suite we stayed, but the location was not convenient for walking. You can do a short drive to many places however. The staff was very accomodating. Needed a humidifier, and they provided it, my remote wouldn't work, and it turned out to be dvd remote (I guess they provide that as well?) so they gave me the right one. The main cercern we had was the towels and to a lesser extent, the linens had strong chemical odor that when we went back to our room after the maid was done, my son gagged and wanted to throw up. We had to open all the windows (which didn't open all the way). read more

We always look at Marriott as one of our first choices of hotels, so this was a huge disappointment when we arrived. They look decent on the outside and seem to be in a nice area of town, but that is all deceiving. The rooms smell of cat pee and are very outdated. There was no hand soap left at the bathroom or kitchen sinks which we thought was weird and as we looked in the shower we still found nothing. As we attempted to get into bed we found a large dead bug under the sheets and at that point we had had enough. Checked out and went to the embassy suits a few blocks over. Don't waste your money here. Overpriced and not normal Marriott standards we have previously experienced. read more

Rooms are fairly priced however the pool was not ready when we arrived witch was the main reason we chose to come here. The front desk attended was nice however there was an issue with the processing of my card at the desk and one witch I booked the room for online and the other to pay the deposit at the desk . They took it out of the card online instead of the one i handed her. We were not able to get our money back in time, and had a bunch of issues with the bank. It messed with the tings were were able to do while on vacation. They have offered nothing to compensate for there error and I spent over an hour on the phone with corporate and still nothing. The breakfast is good but it is just bagels cereal sandwiches and fruit. Very little selection and not a hearty breakfast.. I am over all disappointed with this whole experience and I will not be coming back. However the staff are very nice. read more

The breakfast was good, fresh and refreshed continually. The breakfast room is a bit small, but for early risers, no problem at all. I'll stay here again on my next trip to the area.
