Front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. Wendy was so cheerful and welcoming it made me write this. Rooms were nice and clean.

Horrible experience. You are better off choosing another hotel in the area. Another Marriott or another brand altogether

Staff was quick to sling drinks, plenty of swag available, excellent selection of grab and go beer if in a hurry. Very casual and cool atmosphere. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Great for groups, reserve for private events, come down for trivia in Wednesdays or keep an eye on their calendar for other events. Building had been beautifully redone and just a chill vibe with some light music in the background that doesn't overpower your conversation. Stop in and check it out next time you are in Bristol!!

The taproom here is huge - acoustics can be a little tricky if they have live music, so you may want to check their events page ahead of time if you want to be able to hear your company clearly. That said, I've seen some great local artists here - everything from a 4 person DMB cover band to a solo acoustic performer with an angelic voice. A+ for putting effort into the programming! The beer list is quite long. I love their sours when they have them on top, which isn't always but a good portion of the time. Other than sours their beers are not my most favorite in the world, but still yummy with lots of variety to taste around. It's a great spot to hang out with quirky decor, high ceilings, and lots of events.

Both rooms were difficult to navigate with everyone so close to one another and it was hard to walk past the bars because there were large waste bins on the ends and people would collect there to throw their bottles away. The event had a 4-hour open bar with only one bartender per bar. From what my wife and I could tell, the two bartenders were the only employees there. This proved to be a major problem because if the bartender needed something that wasn't stocked at their station or had to walk the space to clear tables, they would have to leave the bar completely unmanned. There were a lot of times that patrons would get behind the bar and take bottles from the shelves and when the bartenders came back, they'd pretty much shrug it off and continue to serve. One bar was for beer and wine, the other for cocktails. The cocktail line was always busy and the bartender couldn't keep up with demand, typically not remembering who had ordered first. From what I was told by other patrons, the drinks were quite weak. I stuck to hard cider and beer solely because the line was faster. But every time I wanted a Guinness, the bartender would leave the bar to go and get it from somewhere else. Luckily the event was only four hours long and my wife and I didn't stay through the whole thing. What's so concerning is that the management didn't think to staff properly and created a liability for themselves.

Jesse, Stephanie, and the staff are superb and are there to help you every step of the way in planning your event. We had a full service: appetizers, cheese and cracker table, Portuguese soup, family style salad, roast beef w/ mashed, stuffed scrod w/ rice, and cake & ice cream. All the food provided and cooked by All-star Chef Octavio Gomes was fantastic. I worked with Octavio for some time at the Venus de Milo so I know his work is nothing but the best! Hall is very spacious and we were able to bring in a good capacity of people even within the midst of COVID restrictions. The lights and decorations in the hall definitely set the tone of a nice ballroom wedding. All the staff was absolutely professional, friendly and helpful. No complaints and no regrets booking here. 5 STARS!

That at night time is lit up. Looks extra special. Service was you know OK? It wasn't the best I've ever had from a venue like that, but it also wasn't the worst. The bartender was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to make the special drinks that were meant for the bride room. She never really rushed anyone she was really on top of her game. I wish that it gone all the way down the road when it came to things, but I was at my best friend's daughter's wedding reception and that's all that really matter to me. I wouldn't go again having experienced what I did. The appetizers were very good. They had bacon wrapped scallops, big shrimp and also like a wrapped cheese quesadilla that was delicious. I wouldn't exactly say the same same about the main course unfortunately, when they were serving the appetizer of the lemon sorbet they had run out before they served everyone so myself and two other people at my table did not get any. I did steal bite of my husband, and that was delicious. Then the next course which was the main course, my husband, salmon was warm, just like the gentleman next to him, but they both complained that they were very dry. We did ask for a lemon, and the young fellow told us that he didn't have any and I guess we couldn't go to the bar to get it, but they didn't offer it. Then the food came out for me and it was cold and it had a gravy on it. It was supposed to have been marinated grilled chicken and shrimp, but the shrimp looked poached. It actually looked like it came from a shrimp cocktail. It was big, but it was not grilled or anything wasn't marinated. The chicken was very plain looking at stuff so I did ask them to take it back cause I can't eat the gravy and things I'm dieting and I can't have any extra stuff so like gravy, etc. it also came with some vegetables. The carrot was delicious. It was cooked but again everything was very cold. They did take it back. Brought me one with no gravy but again it came and the shrimp and chicken was still cold. The potatoes were hot, but I can't eat potatoes. I can't have rice on the plate as well. I can't have rice the vegetables. I ate them because it didn't matter if they were cold or hot they're supposed to be OK. But I was kind of disappointed in the fact that this great meal of this beautiful wedding was not anything like I thought it was going to be. Then they did bring out this really cool dessert a little ways along the road is really cool dessert it has it was like a flaming sorbet type of thing I had ice cream and tropical covered strawberries and like a soft sauce, that was very pretty. I ate that and I took a couple of other people's chocolate covered strawberries. I took others so I had those. It was just kind of disappointing. I really was the venue in the reviews of stuff I saw. I really kind of thought that it would be a little bit more higher quality at least than it was. But again, the bartender made some really good drink so I think we can count on that or somet

It is an Irish-owned joint and features a pancake house-like vibe and bric-a-brac decorations that belong in an elementary school classroom such as paper/plastic wall hangings of Irish themes of gold pots, rainbows, and leprechauns, etc., as well as party streamers and the like. My One and I came here to eat and that was the focus as were quite hangry after a morning of flea-market shopping. Anyhoot, Moey got the Fish n' Chips and I got the Fried Seafood Pladder. Her dish was very generous with a big-ass piece of fish and lots of fries. My Pladder was a MONSTER and certainly not to be trifled with. Tons of everything and with fries AND rings. Deep fried to perfection. Everything was great! I was on Cloud 9 as I attempted to krush this whole Pladder. I am a real pig and do not play games when it comes to hogging out. I finished everything except for one scallop and four shrimp and some of the fries. This copious puppy was only 33 bucks which is an excellent deal. Our waitress was wicked nice too. In conclusion, we were tickled pink with our experience here. We had a whale of a time and the craic was great here! HOT TIP: We came here midafternoon and there was only one other couple pigging out here. Peak hours are wicked mental here (we were told) so best to come in the off hours to avoid a wicked mental atmosphere. PS: The photos here are rather deceiving as they do not convey the true scale of this wicked-mega Pladder. It was A LOT of food. I like that.

Our first contact with Kendra was in February for a May event. She was helpful, responsive, and took great care of us even though our date happened to coincide with one of White's busiest days: Mother's Day! We booked a private room for three hours with access to the grand buffet. We were not able to provide an exact headcount as we told guests to stop in whenever they could, but Kendra and her team were still able to accommodate us. The staff, Kendra and Myles, greeted our guests warmly, provided cocktail service, continuously replenished water, coffee, and juice, and quickly replaced place settings as our 40-50 guests came and went during the morning. When the room started to get full with the original five tables that were set, Kendra and her staff set up an additional table without even being asked to do so. They had such a keen eye for the details and really made the event run perfectly. A special treat was that Chris, the owner of LaFrance Hospitality, made a point of coming over to the hosts to thank us for our patronage. So nice of him to do that on such a busy Sunday morning. The buffet was plentiful and the food was delicious. All of our guests enjoyed their meals, and even on such a crowded day the lines moved very quickly and nothing ran out. Overall, I would highly recommend White's of Westport for any special occasion event, and especially working with Kendra Mello.
