    I had a 10 AM appointment today and even arrived early, thinking things would run smoothly but this has been one of the worst dealership experiences I've ever had. When I asked if they could please wash my car, I was told their car wash was "down." all while smirking an obvious face of someone who just said a lie and honestly, I called B.S. right away. Then I was informed my car would take a few hours because there were also two active recalls. Fine but when I asked for a ride home, they said they could drop me off but I'd have to find my own way back. Excuse me? If my car has recalls that they need to fix and they're keeping it for hours, why should me getting back to pick up my car be at my expense? I arrived around 9:45 AM. It's now past 2:41 PM, and my car is barely just ready. At this point I have reached out to the service advisor Diego and at the end he just said see me at my desk I walk up and he doesnt acknowledge or look at me and just comtinues typing on his computer and then hands me my paperwork asks me to sign and then he said that Im all set. He didn't even go over the service with me or talk to me about what they did or what condition my tires were in and nothing about the recalls. I was so pissed off I just signed and walked out. I couldnt get out of there faster. Every other customer who came in after me has already left. To make matters worse, the waiting area is poorly maintained no water, no snacks, nothing. One employee brought a few small bags of popcorn in the morning, and that was it. The staff seem completely unbothered and uninterested in customer service. I've been a loyal Toyota customer since 2014, but after this, I'm done. I have never had such a terrible experience at ANY Toyota as I have here in Poway. Once my lease is up, I'll be switching to another brand and my family will too. Absolutely unacceptable experience. (Photo shows that I'm literally the only one here, it's empty)

    I have purchased all of my Toyotas from Toyota of Poway and I consistently give them 5 stars! 6 years later I bought my next Toyota and Bobby was phenomenal in helping me get the exact car that I wanted. He was efficient, patient and overall amazing! He very thoroughly explained every financing option and works with us without complaint even though we kept everyone past closing! Even then he took his time to walk me through every option and button on my vehicle and I couldn't be more thankful! Financing, EZ, was also awesome! He helped explain all of our options and add on packages and what they entailed. The process couldn't have been smoother especially since I just had a terrible experience at a different dealership for a different car make/model. I will never cheat on Toyota of Poway again! Thank you everyone!!

    I tried to speak to the manager named Donald about this issue. I called four separate times, I was always told that he would get back to me the next day. He never called me back once. So, if anything ever happens to your car, this is how you will be treated.

Sure enough when I called Pedder, a human (shock face!) representative picked up who was very friendly and professional and she got me booked within the same week I called. Once I got there, I was greeted by my service advisor Greg who was friendly and professional as well. He got me checked in right away and even had a complimentary van ready to take me back home. I was in and out within 10 minutes. My car was ready for pick up the same day! They send you text reminders and status updates about your car which is nice. The cherry on top was they washed my car without me asking so when I picked it up, it was clean and ready to go! Again, checking out was a breeze and I was out within 5 minutes. Super easy and stress free. This was my first visit but hope all my future service visits will be just as good as this one...

I live close to this dealership and while I have been aware of their low reviews and opinions from neighbors, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. On 04/20/26, I was searching online to purchase a new Jeep wrangler sport S. I checked the official webb page for this dealership and noticed they listed a vehicle for the net cost of $40,921. I contacted them through their webb page to schedule a test drive. A new salesman, Isaiah Gonzalez, contacted me and we agreed on a test drive for 4/21/2026 at 1200 hrs. I arrived at the dealership at the agreed time and met Mr. Gonzales, who had the vehicle ready for a test drive. We conducted the test drive and upon returning to the dealership, I decided to make a purchase offer of $39,000 to Mr Gonzales, which he promptly took to his sales manager Mr. Jackey Moore. Mr. Gonzalez returned a short time later and advised me that they had accepted my offer and ask me to come over to his desk to start the paperwork. Mr. Gonzales then produced a sheet of paper with the agreed price, but also a number of costly dealership added items, including the standard security systems and other unwanted add-ons. I immediately declined the added items. Mr. Gonzales then asked me to agree on something "because they needed to make some money on the vehicle". I remain firm on not purchasing the additional items, but advised him, I would consider financing with them. Mr. Gonzales preceded to speak with his sales manager, Mr. Moore, who promptly asked me to come into his office. Mr. Moore Then advised me that they could not sell me the vehicle because they had made an error in their official dealership Webb page and that they would loose too much money if the sold me the vehicle at the agreed price. Mr. Moore would not give any further logical explanation for the alleged error. I had several photos of the listing which I agreed to show him but he had no interest. He further did not show much interest in a reasonable resolution after I had spent over two hours at the dealership, and only encouraged me to purchase a vehicle somewhere else. A second rather rude , individual, in the sales office, who refused to identify himself, but I later determined to be sales manager Johnny Luttrell , jumped into the conversation and attempted to excused the errors on their part, but at no time suggested a reasonable resolution. A request to speak to the General Manager was denied. These individuals did not conduct themselves as professionals in the least. I intend to take further action in this matter to include reports to the appropriate state consumer protection agencies, as well as the Department of Motor Vehicles which oversees licensing for vehicle dealerships. In summary, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

    I have leased 4 vehicles from Pedder over the course of the last decade. Although there have been…read moresome difficulties, I've stuck by them not only because of location convenience but the service was good enough. I've even recommended people go here for a vehicle. This is no longer the case. Recently I brought my vehicle in for service. The service team has always been nice and takes care of things in a timely manner. This time it seemed to be the same as my vehicle was ready fairly quickly. The first thing, however, was the fact they weren't able to fix one of the recalls on my vehicle for the second time. Then came the big problem. When I went to drive away I heard a big clunk. It felt weird but I was already turning on to the main Street (about a 50 foot drive from the parking spot to the street). Immediately upon getting on the street, the car was shaking violently. I knew immediately what this was. They didn't tighten the lug nuts on the front of the car. Because I was on the main road I had to nurse the vehicle around the corner and stop. I brought this to the service writer who profusely apologized and took care of the issue and inspected the vehicle for damage. How can someone drive the vehicle from the service bay to the parking spot and not notice the issue. Incredible failure which put me and my family in danger. Even though the service team handled it, not one person from management came to say anything to me. I didn't ask for anything but I did expect the dealership to have some sort of concern for their clients. Not one person bothered to come say a word. This shows the level of professionalism and care this dealership has about their clients. Once my lease is up, I will never go back here. It is worth me going to another dealership farther away to have a better relationship.

Miguel was super friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. My husband and I came in wanting to see the Nissan Leaf and I mentioned that I was curious how it compared to my top electric car choice (the Mustang Mach E). We test drove the Leaf and really liked it but it was a bit small for our needs. Miguel mentioned that we might like the Nissan Ariya (which I had honestly never heard of previously). He had a gorgeous two-tone Boulder grey one in the lot and it was love at first site. I really liked all of the features and price point as well as the look of the vehicle. I take my time with decisions so we left the dealership that day with Miguel's card and no pressure from him which I really appreciated. Miguel was super helpful when I texted him over the next few days with questions about the different Ariya trim levels. He sent me a list of every used Ariya across all the San Diego Mossy Nissans that fit our budget and specifications. He even offered to get any we were interested in brought over to Poway so we could check them out conveniently. A couple of days later, we picked out a different trim option and Miguel was nice enough to drive to El Cajon and back to get to Poway for us to see that very day. We test drove it and liked it a lot but it wasn't the right car for us. Thankfully, the first Ariya I fell in love with was still there and Miguel helped make our transaction smooth and easy! We walked out with a gorgeous new car in record time. I would 100% come back to Mossy Nissan. Thanks Miguel!
