    Tozier's menu

Wonderful seafood restaurant in central Vermont. Great service and fabulous food. Hubby has a shellfish allergy so we were hesitant to eat at Tozier's. The staff took great care to explain the separate fryers. We were told everything he could safely eat. The specials change daily, but they usually have prime rib on Friday. The prime rib is excellent with a crust like my mother used to cook. Best creemies in Vermont.

Open faced turkey dinner-l with the fixings. half eaten!

Who would think that you could get great classic traditional seafood dishes in central Vermont? Toziers is a Vermont staple that is not open in the winter months. So my husband and I were excited to be up in the late summer and able to get in. I haven't been in the dining room area since I was a kid so it was very nostalgic to be back! I had a generous glass of Chardonnay. We started with the fried clams, which were delish! My husband was craving a turkey dinner so that's what he got and he enjoyed it! I got the haddock with ritz cracker topping. Also very good! We were disappointed to find out that the ice cream stand was closed for the season. So instead we split a slice of their homemade raspberry pie upon our server's recommendation. You don't see raspberry pie on too many menus. We loved it! The ambience is very old fashioned Vermont. I could do without the mounted deer staring at me as I'm eating but hey, that's just me and I'd go back because the food is terrific!

I've been dining here multiple times when I visit Killington area. This place is unique to have dine-in restaurant area and curbside shack stand like outside ordering area. If weather is nice, you can eat your tasty food at picnic tables adjacent to the building. Inside fine area, calm and spacious into two sections and you see lots of deer hunting stuff hang in walls. Although they located in the middle of the state, they serve great seafood dishes with quite crispy french fries (although at my last visit, it wasn't great as before...). All dishes i've tried are great so far and i highly recommend this place. Seasoning are relatively strong so you might enjoy them if you prefer seasoned well dishes. This place seems the dine in place for locals obviously. From here there is a farm called Kiss the Cow, about 15min., and they sells raw milk 24hrs. I am not an affiliate with them but they have a great products such as rich creamy ice cream swirl I also highly recommend.

This is a fun, roadside spot. Locals mostly. Good looking menu, something for everybody. We wanted some fried clams. And they were very good. We also had lobster rolls which were excellent. And abundant lobster. And their prices are fair for very fresh seafood. Dine in, or take from the window. Nice frosty Fiddlehead on draft.

Great seafood far away from the sea. Something you see in Vermont. New owners doing a good job.

Is Toziers under new ownership. And are the current prices on line up to date?

It was purchased by the Campbell's in 2005. Heck their Facebook page for up to date prices

Didn't realize we were driving about 20 minutes off of 91 but in hindsight it didn't feel like it. As noted above this was an early season foliage trip, and once we got off 91 the trees started to really show its colors. Lots of beautiful scenery along the way with lakes, farm land and old homes. As for Moose Scoops in general it is quite the ice cream place. Looks as if it is established in an old church. A ramp for accessibility which was very helpful for my girlfriend. Lots of ice cream flavors to pick from. I went with three scoops of "I Scream for Cake" in a waffle cone while the girl got one scoop of "Moose Tracks" in a waffle. Haven't had Birthday Cake in ages and I remember why, good in its own way but in moderation. Three scoops was too much for me lol. The girl enjoyed her Moose Tracks, I helped her finish it. Was a nice surprise for both of us with the chocolate kiss at the bottom of the cone. We both enjoyed ourselves and if you are looking for something off the beaten path this is a good spot to go to.
