Well I cannot even begin to tell you how exciting of a find this was for me!! Ever since I moved to this area, I had still been going back over to the West Hills area for nails because I was familiar. But that drive, although short, gets in the way and means I get behind on my maintenance sometimes. SO this weekend I decided to be adventurous (mostly due to lack of time to go anywhere else). So, I open up Yelp and who do I see around the corner but this...dare I say...5 STAR place?!? Could it be? So close to home?? So I start off walking in to get a pedicure (a good test to see of you trust a place to do your nails). I walked in and Tom was so nice and honest. It was a busy Saturday afternoon. He tells me I may have to wait 30 minutes because they have appointments ahead of me. Totally get it!! So I sit down. 2 things about that, it meant it's not one of those places where even though I make an appointment I'll have to sit and wait 20 minutes for them to finish someone else up AND he ended up grabbing me after about 10 minutes so it was even quicker than he predicted so they're pretty fast. The place was clean, staff was nice, pedicure was really good so I decided to make an appointment for nails the next day. (I should tell you I hate deciding what I want to do to my nails, there's just too many options!!) So I tell him I'm going to Vegas and he gets excited and tells me what he wants to do to my nails!! Love it!! I love being able to walk in, sit down, and walk out surprised and satisfied by whatever my nail tech chose to do!! So next day I walk in at my exact appointment time and he is ready for me. I sit down and he immediately starts working on me. He was quick and thorough and I love,love, LOVE my nails too!!! All in all, 5/5 stars is well deserved and I'm ecstatic because I finally have made the transition close to home for my nail salon!! Honestly after going through what I did I really should have gotten a discount The shape is disgusting. Try not to let him freestyle too much cause he is not that kind of artist just saying. This is one of those salons where you literally have to be annoying and ask how much for everything cause if you don't hes gonna do you dirty like he did me where hes all like let me freestyle and do different magnetic designs and then all of a sudden throw in that flower 1 which is an extra $5 he didn't even tell me. If it was gonna be an extra 5 I would have told him no right away it's not worth it for me. But he tried to just weasel it in and charge me $80 at the end. He also tried to charge me $10 for drawing on 6 fingers the most generic basic stars. And I'm talking about the one that's the shape like a cross with an x in the middle. I was very specific I asked for crystals 2 or 3 times and hes like no no let me draw something for you. I thought he was gonna do something sparkly but he busted out the white and just started drawing stars. Are you joking me we are in 2022 you cannot charge anybody $10 for that ugly a** design you are not the same as real nail artists ur just a tech HUGE DIFFERENCE. You do not have the same skills as they do you cannot charge their prices. the ball industry needs to fix that. U need to take tests before u wanna try charging luxury prices. I'm a very generous tipper because I work in an industry where tips are everything. I literally tipped him 15 bucks the 1st time And that was way too much because my nails didn't even last a week before one popped off. I honestly feel that he tried to take advantage of me take advantage of me because he thought that that because I would pay this much for nails that I would literally pay anything. No I will literally pay anything for bomb looking nails not ugly nails. After this karen who want to make a comment as he was fixing my nails saying you always do a good job thanks literally only tipped him like 8 bucks and He goes out of his way to literally try to steal from me. I work so hard for my moneyAnd I'm really offended that he would literally try to swindle meAnd then on top of that give me ugly looking nails like I tried to just deal with it andAll day I've been looking at my nails and they're so gross gross especially the pinky I really don't understand how you can mess up the pinky of all nails it is the smallest nail but it's literally lumpy. He did not do the same job he did for me the 1st time and honestly the 1st time after about a week one of my nails already started lifting then by then by 2 weeksHalf of them were already lifting and by the time I reached 3 weeks My nails were looking crusty from having to glue them back on. They really make you feel at home and they try to accommodate you even when they're extremely busy. Nails: I come in for gel manicure and regular pedicure and their work is consistent, clean, and professional. My favorite thing is they properly remove the gel nail polish, which is really hard to find in the valley. Price: affordable. I have never paid anything over $60 even when I get gel manicure and gel pedicure. I've been to other places that charge over $70 for their services, but I'm never happy with my experience. Environment: love how clean it is inside, sanitation is important. Although they could use a little cosmetic makeover, this won't stop me from coming here. My overall experience is a 10/10! I came in with short/fragile nails that would break easily, but now after 2 months my nails are naturally long and strong. I definitely recommend this place! You won't be disappointed. I've been to this nail salon two times now and have been taken care of by Lena and Karol both times. I absolutely adore these women! They are sweet and precise and Lena always goes above and beyond to match the color I'm looking for as I always come in with a photo of what I want. It's so hard to find someone who can pull of the acrylic on a nail less nail bed but Karol exceeds my expectations. It was my birthday week and over the past months my toes have gone through some life! From the ice sculpture accident that broke my toes and toe nails, to the harsh waters of the American river for a 2-day river rafting trip, wet and soggy feet conditions buried within the sharp river rocks and the heavy undertow of the Cabo shores and many many drunken adventures, my toes were jacked up and finally grown long enough to have someone offer some tlc.
