Everyone was really nice but fast forward two weeks later and 5/10 of my nails have broken down to the fingertip despite me having a desk job and not doing anything unusual to cause this. Been coming here for years for their bio gel!! I don't have the patience to sit for too long, so I love that I can come and get my nails done quickly, and know they will ALWAYS do an amazing job regardless of the technician helping me that day. The employees have been here for many years so that is also a testament to management and nice to see friendly and familiar faces for so many years. They also play old school music videos on the TV so time goes by quickly when you're lost in nostalgia. Our nails person moved and this is the second place i've been to into my journey of finding our go to nail salon. My soulsis discovered the place by accident and she liked it so I went today with my mom on Valentine's Day. i try to get our nails done twice a month as it gets really difficult when I leave the gel too long. I am writing my review as Hannah finishes my pedi. Jonathan did the mani and the other 2 ladies attended to my mom. So i am going to post this without the finished product yet, nor how the nail polish have stayed neat and solid the next 2 weeks. Here's my observation for the 49minites I was here. But first let me mention that I called around 1pm to check availability for 4pm and the receptionist confirmed our appointment. As soon as I hung up the phone, I received a text about the appointment. That's a good sign of being systematic. We arrived 5 minutes before the appointment time and they immediately accommodated us. I was led to the main tables while mom went straight to the chair for her pedi. The turn around was quick so before Jonathan finished cleaning one hand, th had me move to the seat next to mom. Being aware of the customers is a good sign. I selected the regular pedi with callous removal for my stubborn callous, and a gel manicure. They have a wide selection of colors which I like. Jonathan was very attentive to th customers coming and going. He seems to know everybody, calling them by their first names and engaging in small talks is a bonus, 5-star customer relationship! He cleaned my nails well and even suggested coconut oil for my very dry hands and cuticle (which I appreciate). Hanah was very thorough with the spa and pedicure, regularly smiling and checking with me if everything is ok. I had a very pleasant experience with this salon and I'm positive to come back after 2 weeks, before I leave for the trade shows. They have a lot of staff so there's no waiting time; They have uniforms and they look professional, they wear masks and gloves. As soon as my mom stood up to move to the chairs across while waiting for my to finish, a lady was already on stand by with towels to wipe the chair, replace the plastic in the basin and prepare the chair for the next customer. I'm impressed! and if they have been doing this for a long time, then I am glad my friend found this gem! Let's see in the next two weeks coz at the last salon that I tried, the lady was good in cleaning the nails but their gel was probably old coz it quickly peeled off. I really hope this will be our go to salon... Will update soon. read more

I've been going to Paula's Nail Spa for over 7 years and I am always happy when I leave the Nail Spa; however, today was not one of those days. I called in to schedule an appointment with Johnathan. I indicated I have bio gel which I wanted to remove and get a regular manicure. I was told to hold and check if he will be able to do my nails. I secured an appt for 230pm. When I go there Johnathan asked me if I wanted to do gel manicure, I said no i want my nails to breathe I will just do manicure. He said ok and then said Chole does a good job she will do it for you. I said why didn't you tell me you don't want to do my nails. I felt like just because I was doing a manicure (reg) he didn't want to assist me, when in the past he has one bio gel with designs for me. I felt lied to and Chloe did my nails. While Chloe was putting on my polish I had to ask her to get the edges of my nails with polish. She said she will put a third color coat and cover it. Even after 3 coats my nails are not completely covered by the nail polish. Additionally, I paid $22 for reg manicure plus $10 to remove the bio gel and she didn't even complete the manicure. There was no lotion, no massage and she didn't cover my nails with nail polish. I showed nails to the person at the register and he agreed that the nails were not fully covered with polish. He apologized and gave me $2 back. I was insulted by him giving me $2. I should not have paid full price for service which was not provided. After showing him my nails nothing was done. I love this place and I always tell people to go here but todays service and approach made me feel disrespected, discriminated against, and I should not have been charged full payment for services which were not completed. My appointment was for 230pm It is 4:14pm and I am yet to hear back from Johnathan. He didn't even reach out to me despite telling sharing my experience. read more

So badly painted I just had it removed and clear polish put on. Cuticles still look awful. Didn't scrub my feet at all. Literally will not come back. This place use to be so good. I've given Paula's Nail Salon multiple chances, but I'm done after this last visit. I showed a clear picture of an ombré French tip and was told they could do it. What I got looked nothing like it--wrong color, wrong shape, and very thick, uneven nails. The gel is patchy in some spots, doesn't go all the way to the base, and the overall finish looks sloppy. From far away it's okay, but up close it's disappointing. This has been a consistent issue every time I come here. It's too expensive to keep leaving unhappy and wanting to cry.
