Oh. My. Lord. If you haven't had a try bowl yet, you are REALLY missing out. I got a custom bowl with almost every single topping and 4 bases and this try bowl was absolutely delicious. It satisfied my cravings very well and held me up till my next meal. When ordering, a custom bowl, you only order the bases and once they come out with your bowl, they walk you through all the toppings and you get to choose what you want along the way. Very disappointed over $11. I received a birthday reward through the loyalty program. And recently this location was having issues redeeming the reward. Understanding that there's technical difficulties, but the fact that I went three different times to try to redeem my birthday reward to only be told today that I needed to go somewhere else and let the manager and never took any action. I've been very loyal to this location since it's opened and very happy up until this point. But you've lost a customer who goes there often and spends a lot of money. All over an $11 birthday reward that you couldn't figure out how to redeem. Someone who works in the retail industry this is poor management and lack of loyalty to your customers. And before ordering my bowl I asked the staff if any of their bases are watered down and I was looked at indifferent for asking this question and the woman laughed and said "no". If I'm gonna pay for something I don't think it's wrong for me to ask this question. And sure enough my bowl was watered down. The way these bowls are made seem to be disorganized, if the bases are watered down because you're making smoothies then place them in the freezer while you're working on other orders. The process of making these bowls appears to be the same on both locations but the time it takes to make these bowls are taking too long. And increasing wait times. read more

I debated the last 4x I came to this location about writing a review because I love the Azusa location so much. I have been going to the Azusa location for over 3 years and have not had the issues that I have at this upland location. I know there are different owners so I think it's safe to assume it's not the same owner as Azusa running this location. This was the 5th time I paid with cash and was told they didn't have the coins to give me my correct change back. At first I thought no big deal but it adds up. It's absurd to charge extra for add-ons yet you don't have the coins to give me my correct change back. Speaking of add ons you're better off buying your own container of peanut butter then paying extra for a "drizzle" or "scoop" of peanut butter. More than once I paid extra for a scoop of peanut butter and realized how they are fraudulent with this extra cost. The peanut butter is intentionally placed around the edges of the bottom of the cup to give the appearance that you got a layer of peanut butter but in reality it's just around the sides of the bowl. The audacity to charge extra and not even give what you're charging for is insane. Every single time I have ordered the pro bowl it was as liquid as a soup, you might as well serve it with a straw. Every single time it has been a waste of money ordering the pro bowl. And again the audacity to charge extra to modify that bowl knowing it's not even the consistency of a bowl. It also seems as though this location has the hardest time getting orders done correctly. Almost every single time my orders have been incorrect whether I order online or in person. Keep in mind my modifications are simple requests like "add a scoop of peanut butter to the bottom of the bowl" or "no chocolate drizzle". It's unfortunate because this location could've been so great but after months of coming I am always upset with my order. read more

This is based purely on customer service. I placed an order via DoorDash and my Dasher said that my green juice was unavailable. I said OK no worries. I'm just gonna call up to the store. A young lady answered the phone and I explained to her that my Dasher was there and said that the green juice I wanted was unavailable and I wanted to reach out and see what juices they had available. Needless to say, I didn't even get the opportunity to know what was available because she disconnected the phone in my face. The next thing I know I get a message from the Dasher saying that they are closing the store and that they are no longer doing juice orders. My only issue is I really wanted to try this place I believe in healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle and didn't get the opportunity to do that. Here's a suggestion for management being that the employees want to leave exactly at 9 PM why not actually make your hours for 830 instead of nine because clearly instead of serving customers, they had more important things to do. read more
