Me and my wife(back then girlfriend) actually found Russ on Yelp at the end of 2014, we were considering buying our first home although not fully committed. Regardless of that, Russ took his time explaining to us different strategies of buying a house and took us to different open houses. Readers beware..This review goes long. last year my husband expressed his desire of upgrading the house.based on my previous experience of buying our first house I wasn't that inclined but when he pushed I started researching realtors.i shortlisted some agents and my husband finally decided to work with Russ.He reasoned that Russ speaks less and listens more but i think it was for his tesla which my husband admires a lot :) he barely took seconds to reply to messages and that too when he was on family vacation in Hawaii (I myself would never do it) . He gave us very accurate estimates of how much a property would sell for and I have cross checked his estimates with final selling price on 5 properties we had some interest in.he was always right!!! we managed to sell our house and buy the next one seamlessly which was a complete shock to me in this hard to buy market.it took us 9 months and 25 rejected offers to buy our first house and i was not expecting this transition in 3 months at all. Russ convinced and assured us that we must sell first and buy next which was not the idea we had started with.we thought if we sell first we will be under pressure to compromise on our purchase.through the process several times we tried to back off but his confidence and reasoning kept us on.he sold our house for much more than we expected with a very good duration of rent back and an added provision of cancelling the deal within a month if we dont buy.it was totally a deal in our favor and something very exceptional to do. when we got ready to buy,after dozens of open house and private visits,we liked only 2 properties to really buy and imagine in such a situation, when any other agent would have rushed us into offering on both(if we dont buy he looses commission on the selling one as well) he actually discouraged us to buy the first one as it was close to highway which was a great decision(we realized later).we were all up for buying it. we just wrote a single offer on the other property and in spite of the fact that it was a very good area with awesome schools and sole property on sale in that area at that time, with 4 co owners to convince we finally own that awesome house at a price a good way less than listing.The house has everything i and my husband wanted and we love it.Thanks to Russ!!! after the transactions were done when we went for final inspections we found some scratches in the house left by staging company.Russ very diligently followed with sellers agent to have that fixed.there was just one flip side in his services. He is awesome! He was not pushy and accompanied us to see the homes we wanted to see each weekend. Having him there was great because he was able to get helpful information out of the selling agent that I would have never known to ask.
