It's a more intimate type setting great for couples, girlfriends or family. The vibe cannot be explained but should be experienced. We have always been greeted with a smile when walking in the door and the staff is welcoming, attentive and friendly. The cocktails are phenomenal, and there are always stellar wine choices on the menu. Recently, they have begun to do "off-menu" tasting events (every other Sunday) where the chef chooses a selection of courses that you are surprised with upon arrival. The food has been nothing short of phenomenal, incredibly creative and memorable. They also offer a wine pairing with these meals which takes out a lot of guesswork for us wine newbies in trying to figure out what wine to pair with each course. Definitely a breath of fresh air in Saratoga, something different but absolutely worth every penny!

We were always being checked on . My friend and I even got to chat for a few minutes with the owners. For the food, I love the combination of comfort food and fine dining. Classics you know but upscale. Beef short rib- new to the menu. Melt in your mouth and very flavorful. Mom's Meatloaf- my friend ordered this but I had a bite. Would definitely order this myself Parmesan Truffle Fries- crispy fries with Parmesan. Can't go wrong and a big portion for a side dish. Charred artichoke- so tender and perfectly paired with tzatziki sauce. Cocktails: Espresso Martini Citrus Got Real

We had heard about Lago and I wanted to see the lake so we popped in about 2pm. The place was serving a nice lunch crowd, but we didn't have to wait and were quickly sat at an inside table that was on the edge that looked onto the patio/lake. With the drizzly nature, no one was sitting outside so we had a clear view. Service was great and "on top of it." We ordered and thought we'd have to wait a bit and were settling in to just enjoy the lake vibes when a few minutes later our food came out. Quick and efficient! They have a good beer selection... a little something of everything... and lots of fun cocktails to choose from should you wish to indulge. Their food selection was good... leans towards burgers, sandwiches and pizzas. They do have gluten free buns and pizza crust too. Great place for a casual dinner out with great lake vibes! Not far from the town of Saratoga Springs... maybe 15 minutes depending .... I can see how this place is popular!

The location is beautiful, but that's unfortunately the only positive thing I can say about our…read moreexperience. Our party of six arrived around 8:05 p.m. fully expecting a busy Saturday night. We were split between two separate tables due to limited seating, which was understandable. However, after four large parties left and multiple tables became available, we politely asked if we could move so our group could finally sit together. We were refused because the kitchen was "backed up" and they didn't want orders getting mixed up. After waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes, our food finally arrived. One meal was completely wrong despite being ordered with a food allergy in mind, which is unacceptable. To make matters worse, two of the six meals were served cold. After I mentioned we were ready to leave because of the excessive wait, food suddenly started coming out. When we asked for the cold dishes to be remade, we were forced to wait another 40 minutes. The most frustrating part? A table of six seated next to us arrived after we did, ordered after we did, and still received all of their food before ours. There was never a clear explanation for why our table was continually overlooked. Yes, our meal was eventually comped, but after waiting nearly two hours, dealing with an allergy mistake, and receiving cold food, that hardly made up for the experience. Comping a meal doesn't erase poor service or a kitchen that appears unable to handle a busy weekend. The atmosphere is great, but the service was disorganized, the food quality was inconsistent, and the handling of our table was unacceptable. We won't be returning.

Angie was our outstanding server, greeting us with a big friendly hello when we walked in and then kicking ass all night. She warned us she was the only server- and she held her own with a full crowd. Angie is amazing!! We enjoyed a nice variety of craft beers, Korean wings (awesome), edamame, and a variety of entrees from Bimimbap to orange chicken salad to Korean quesadillas... everything was great! Nice flavor and presentation. And the band... WOW! Masons grandchildren... so good!! Mostly Dead covers... very talented musicians. Such a great unexpected night at Kraverie! Thank you!

My hubs and I had never been to Kraverie before and were happy to try a new place. I am glad that we did because we made up about 75% of the patrons on a Thursday night, which made the bar's owner quite happy. I checked out the menu before we went. OK, typical bar food but with an emphasis on kimchi (I'm not a fan). They serve chicken wings "nice or naughty (spicy)" and they were good. The dumplings (we call them potstickers) were typical, also fine. My hubs liked his taco (street-size). I ordered their Steak Salad. A disgrace. Bagged lettuce accompanied by two small slices of cucumber. The 'steak' was 1/4" size square pieces of dried out meat whose texture was like shoe leather. It was very hard to find the 'steak' in the salad which is why I didn't bother photographing it. I am being kind here. It was awful. The tables are so close together that I felt the back of the person at the table in front of me (we were back-to-back) touching me the entire time. My spouse was challenged eating his food because his chair didn't fit at the table because of the person behind him. WTF. They had one server for the entire room which included perhaps 10 tables plus the bar. This was clearly insufficient and service suffered (we don't blame her). We went to support our musician friend. We probably won't be going back.

A big part of their food menu was hotdogs. This worked out well because we happened to be in the mood for hotdogs. The hotdogs were cute and small- we got the Coney Island ones, with chili and onion. We also got a side Caesar that paired well with them. In contrast to the other places open that late Bibulous was not too loud- you could comfortably carry on a conversation- and had super attentive servers/bartenders that go above and beyond to make you feel taken care of. The desserts seemed to be the thing to order, but we unfortunately didn't partake that night. Apart from the food, one thing that was great to see was that members of the LGBTQ community seemed to be super at home here.

There was no hot drinks on the menu that I can recall I do not drink alcohol, but was looking forward to a tasty well made mocktail. There were 4-6 choices and mine was very tasty The food choices disappointed me. It was mini hot dogs with the works, chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, potato chips and dip, french fries Definitely I do not belong to the targeted customer, which I believe is an elementary school' age crowd Deserts, each sounded good The peanut butter pie was the table favorite. I ordered lemon cake made with olive oil. The sauce on top, a lemon raspberry concoction was SOUR!
