The christmas online ordering was a mess! My order was so screwed up. Part of new order would come in and i received a text that the order was ready only to get there and be told that they had a few items but some where still not there and they had no idea where the remainder of the order was. Twice i spoke to staff that were not helpful. A manager told me ignore those texts and we'll call when the order arrived. I went into the store to check several week or so into the new year and only half the order was there and they pulled the other item off the floor. AND no phone call that ANY of the order came in. I understand these things happen but to be blown off and told to ignore the text because their procedure was to call the customer and then NOT get the call. Overall I love this place for dog food and other country item but DONT BUY BABY CHICKS. Ours seemed okay first day (week old hatching) and within a week one had wry neck and the other a week later had diareeah and started limping. Only 2 of the 4 are healthy. They also had 2 kinds thay were mixed in same brood. All4 appears to be the same breed. Skip the chicks and go with Western Ranch. They have better selection and chicks appear healthier. read more

I have shopped many Tractors supplies store in state of Ca.; I have to admit the Dixon California store is the absolute worse run store of all. The management is truly horrible. They are incompetent in managing their staff. The staff that I have had to deal with are extremely lazy and act as if just being there is a great strain upon them. Last year I had a BBQ assembled by them for an elderly neighbor, I can honestly say they did not read the instructions or tighten a nut. It was as if a 3rd grader assembled it, I Purchased a FimCo 3 nozzle tow behind sprayer, Parts missing, bearing in one of the wheels totally destroyed. The real problem was how the store itself dealt with the issue. Total pain in the ass. Never again. Adios Tractor Supply. read more

My son was Christmas shopping in the store at the Summerlin mall yesterday 12/8/2025 when a store associate named, Sarah, profiled him and made him leave for no apparent reason. 5 Stars to the service here. My girlfriend and I were dying to find this Ghost wax melter and the workers were able to quickly place a rain check on the item. Within a few hours, I recieve a call from a worker saying they already have another in the store that they ordered for me! Amazing service. And to top it all off, this was a month ago, and I received another call from an employee checking in if I received my warmer, and that they had another one in stock if I haven't! Well I was very tired after work but decided I just had to get chicken food, so I swing into tractor supply on my way home and walking in I see a great price for roses and grab some soil then off to get chicken food and a wonderful gentleman asked if I needed help as my eyes were bulging how I'm going to pick up a 50 lb bag of chicken Feed not just one but two bags so in relief I answered yes please so he flopped the bag on my cart like nothin and went to the back to get the other bag as it was out of stock on the floor so in no time he comes carrying out the bag of chicken food I pay for it and they walked me out to my car and loaded it into my truck. I went on on labor day hoping to buy a propane tank and have it filled with propane So i could BBQ for the holiday ,Instead im told they cant purge the tank outside to fill the tank i was trying to buy ! Willow & Al were just locking up the front door at the end of the night when we were pulling in. And even though we arrived at closing time, they saw us and offered to let us purchase the one item we came for (chicken feed), and a blueberry plant we saw on the way to the feed aisle. So nice!!! They were super friendly at check out too, when I'm sure all they wanted at the end of the workday on Sunday night was to close up and go home. Thanks guys! So while there is no propane here, there is much much more to be had from this place. I saw a selection of kayaks here...close to the display of chainsaws. Found some animal feed also. Most animals you'd think of in a farm, they have the feeds for them. Salt licks. Colorful salt licks. Seemingly HUGE colorful salt licks. And the list keeps going, and going... So they have a lot. Went in yesterday 8/12/23, to get some feed storage containers. Just after walking in an an employee by the name of "big Dan" I believe, asked if we needed any help. He found me 2, 35lb feed containers I needed. After getting them picked out I stopped to look at gun safes. Dan offered to open one up so I could look inside and see the lay out. You can get it here. Rain boots, seed starting kits, a sling shot, baby chicks, carhart overalls, dog food. I've got to remember this place next time I'm shopping for a boys birthday party. My friends children all need sling shots. Or maybe a Daisy Red Ryder. The prices are decent, though I don't comparison shop sling shots much. The store is clean and bright, without making you feel like Betty Ford, staff friendly and knowledgeable. In other words, I'd rather come here than Walmart. Updating my review: There have been a lot of improvements at the Dixon TS. There are a lot of new employees and they seem happier. I love to see happy employees. The store is clean and organized, almost always well stocked. We also had a problem with an online order and the manager was so helpful and went out of his way to fix the issue. read more

I've been to 3 different tractor supply stores and honestly, I dread going to them because the employees working there were always so rude. I did not experience that here. I spoke to a guy named Luis who was not only friendly over the phone, but also extremely helpful in person. Knowing that we drove quite a distance to just pick up a couple of 4'x6' rubber horse stall mats, he patiently helped us pick out two of the best ones on the pallet even though they were a bear to sort through and move. They weighed about 100lbs each! We are very grateful for Luis' help and would recommend this tractor supply location to anyone, mainly because of the great customer service Luis had provided. read more

I was a former employee at this place of work and I came back in to get some items for myself and being the nice person I am I say hello to my old co workers and out of all of them only 2 of them spoke to me and said hello . I wanted to get some help with some boots I was looking at and no one helped me . When I then got to the register the person checking me out seemed so grumpy and pretended to not know who I was and just gave me attitude. Lots of stuff--horse feed, dog feed, troughs, cases for your truck, huge water tanks, tractors, pedal carts, gardening tools, plants, tool shed, etc. This list could go on and on! Oh, and they have some interesting t-shirts. I'm from the Midwest, yo, so I was digging the John Deere stuff too! Prices = reasonable. Service = friendly enough. Horrible service. Wandered around in there for close to an hour waiting to for any sales person to be helpful. Another woman in there said she was leaving - same crap service. The store in Woodland has been better but is a further drive. Higby's the local farm and ranch costs a bit more, but the service is superior and it's supports a local business. My family and I love coming here. Whenever we say "okay let's go to tractor supply" my kids and husband are ecstatic. Maybe we are weird but we love this place. We live on country property so this is one stop shopping for us. I like the sales they have especially on Wrangler jeans. My husband goes through a pair very quickly. So this place is the only place where I have been able to find his size and style of jeans for a decent price. The only downfall to this location is they have limited kids clothing. My son wears the same jeans as my husband and they don't carry the kid sizes. Other than that they have pretty much everything you need. I like the holiday ornaments they put out. They are so unique and much better priced compared to Hallmark. Another thing that is great about the store is the chick days that they have during spring/ Easter time. I posted a picture of it on here and it's so fun to see them. They also do cat and dog events. They also do fundraising for the SPCA. They also have had the manufacturer of the welding equipment come out and do demonstrations. Just because it is called Tractor Supply doesn't mean it's a store only for tractors.... They have a bunch of stuff that you can't find anywhere else. Especially this location all the employees remember you and are incredible friendly, well at least they are to us. I know there were a few quick tips that weren't the best because of the employees. I would look past that. I have been coming here for almost 4 years and I haven't had one bad or unsuccessful experience. read more

So I'm putting a wagon together on X-mas eve morning that I bought here for my baby girl about a month earlier. One of the rubber tires is flat and will not blow up. I called the store and told them what happened. They told me to come to the store and they would take care of it. I have shopped @ tractor supply for a couple years now and have dropped quite a bit of money there, but lately I've noticed their Rabbit section is getting smaller and the sales clerks are becoming more rude. I recently rescued a rat, and walked in and asked if they had any rat supplies, and the lady sales clerk said and I quote " we don't sell any rat supplies only rat poison" really?!?!?! Your gonna tell a person that rescues animals (who just rescued a rat) that all you carry is rat poison.... I was so disgusted I just walked out....you just lost my business!!!! read more
