I have always been curious about Kahoots and what it sells. The name is very unique. The first thing that pops in my head is go-carts. Well, today is the day I took that first step to walk into this Kahoots. Surprise surprise!... it sells premium quality pet foods and fun pet stuff. WOW was the first thought that came to my mind when I first walked in. It's a gigantic candy store for pets IMHO! LOL I personally don't have pets at this time, but my parents had two German Shepherd Labradors who were family members many years ago. They both have passed away when they were 13 years old. I miss my Penny and Phoebe (I love you!)... they were my girls. Thanks for reading my story. I perused the entire store at first. Then I thought of my dear friend who has a dog and two cats. I said let's get something for Petunia, Fig, and Friday to celebrate their birthdays. Three toys, cake, and ice cream treats were chosen. Hope they will like their playful stuffies and sweet treats. Staff was very welcoming and pleasant. Service was good. Ambiance is just playful. Prices are a tad high, but hey, our pets deserve good things, too. They are our family. This store is awesome. Got my Duckling there, got to walk around the store holding a cat checking out duck food and found the 100 gal Stock Tank I was looking for since the ducks are growing so fast. Horrible customer service! I walked into the Hesperia location and was greeted by a hello. The thing that pissed me off was the little girl wasn't even looking at me..she said it just to say it. I finished looking for what I came in there for and approached the cashier. Three girls talking it up and the little one was sitting on the product like it was her sofa. Nobody even asked me if I needed any help. Not to mention the music was not suitable for this establishment. Perhaps in your car or at home but not for a place of business Calling all managers please feel free to reach out to me! Unless you work at the Hesperia location. GO TO TRACTORSUPPLY!! MY MISTAKE WAS NOT GOING TO TRACTOR SUPPLY. They don't know what they are talking about when asked about chickens. Sold me meat chickens when i asked for egg laying chickens. You shouldn't have employees who can't give accurate information to customers. My mistake was taking them at their word. I went to my car and looked up the chickens, and they are meat birds!!! And i specifically asked for egg layers! I went back in (minutes later) and told them they sold me meat birds, and they said sorry sales are final. You give me wrong information and sale me the worng birds but it's my fault..? I won't recommend this place nor will i come back!!! I've been a customer for about two years now. Couldn't be a nicer group of people who care about their customers. Hay is always high quality and available. We also switched our dog food to Kahoots brand because it's all sourced locally and made in Irwindale. Check your ingredients. Do you know where your dog food comes from? Too many recalls on dog food pushed us to find another brand for our dogs and Kahoots had the best selection. It's also always available. The guys that load hay are great. If you can't tip them, a bag of gummy worms and an energy drink is gladly accepted too. I can't say enough good things about Kahoots and all the people who work there. I am a brand new dog owner. I adopted two female German Shepherd's at the beginning of this year and I have two cats one that is 10 years old and I've had him since he was a kitten and the other I adopted as a kitten she is now over one years old. My wife and I recently moved up to the high desert in 2019 and this is when I found Kahoots pet store. Since moving up here I have had multiple issues with my cats and with my dogs I have visited Kahoots pet store well over 10 times and each time I come into the store I am welcomed and the employees are all willing to listen to what brings me into the store and offer suggestions and helpful advice which I greatly appreciate and have had good luck with. The prices at cahoots is a little on the expensive side as compared to Walmart, but with the amount of attention that I get, the amount of advice, I get makes the price worth it. I highly suggest checking out kahoots their selection is good, their stock is good and the overall experience is good. read more

I have been shopping at Kahoots for years down in San Diego County. I was so happy that they were bringing one to the High Desert. My dogs and cats absolutely love their food. Is it on the pricey side yes but it's top quality. Coats and shedding are always at a minimum. I also purchase they poultry feed and regular bird seed. I have also bought chicks, ducks, and turkeys this year from them and all have lived and are healthy. Employees are always so nice and willing to answer questions. read more

We wanted to see what they had for grain free dog food. They do have a great selection. The staff was very helpful. But their prices are sky high! As someone that's on a budget I was shocked at the pricing. I was hoping they would be cheaper than the other smaller feed stores or tractor supply. $52 for 30 lbs of food vs $35 for 40 lbs down the street. We left and went elsewhere. I hope they lower the prices or they won't be open long. This area is not Orange county with OC pricing. read more

I am glad we in this community now has the opportunity to get the really well made pet foods without going down the hill. Kahoots carries some of the brands of food and pet supplies we were not able to get anywhere in the high desert in the past. The super premium foods might be more expensive but check out the ingredients, You can always get dog food cheaper but you have to decide about the ingredients and since the food is all our dogs eat I feel it is important to make sure any food they eat is made of top notch ingredients. Our pets are not like us and generally can not rely of eating a variety of foods to make up for nutritional deficits, since they generally have to eat just one type of food, just my thoughts when deciding on food for my pets. I love they have some raw foods available, and the staff has been friendly. I hope they are in business here a long time. read more

My wife and I came across this store today and we are happy we did. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the employee didn't just tell us but walked us and pointed out exactly what items we needed. We went to some of the "bigger stores" and couldn't find what we needed but Kahoots saved the day with a great selection of items from dogs to horses. Very convenient location as well.
