Madison welcomed me to the store and asked if I needed help. She was very nice, professional, and helpful. When I told her what I was looking for, she directed me right to it. Kayla, the manager, also helped me with questions I had about the product. She was very knowledgeable about the products they carry, and she was a really nice, professional manager. Her help gave me confidence in what we were buying. There was also a young man there whose name I did not get, but he smiled and made me feel comfortable. Sometimes in a pet store or any kind of store, I can feel unsure about exactly what we need to buy, but Madison and Kayla gave me great confidence. Wonderful service. Thank you very, very much. The hardest part was actually getting echo in the bathtub! There are harnesses attached to a rail so he couldn't move very much. Staff offered a furminator brush to use before to help get hair off of Echo before we started his bath. Shampoo/conditioner were provided, along with brushes, towels, and other tools. After his bath, Echo was given a treat since he was so well behaved. I'm sure we'll be back when he's ready for another bath and we have time to give him one! Haha!

She had literally been shorn like a sheep to the point that she more closely resembled a yellow lab than a golden retriever. She also had several nick marks on her coat and around her ear to the point that I had to take her to the vet this morning because she had scratched her right ear so much that it started to bleed. I could literally see the clipper marks in what was left of her fur. Absolutely no breed understanding or recognition from these folks.

They really have a good selection of stuff that crosses across several price points. I'm not sure of the quality of all the merchandise they have, but I've purchased stuff from them in the past when I needed something in a hurry and it has worked exceptionally well. The staff at this location were friendly and greeted me when I entered the store. They also asked if they could help me find anything. But when I needed some hardware and had a meeting in Homewood, this was a suggestion by my wife. Most of the local places like this have been in their locations for years and are dated... which is part of the charm. This one however is either in a newer building or has been updated. But not knowing the history, I can't say for sure. The people inside were very helpful. Which was nice since I would have never found anything that I needed without Lewis and Clark. They mostly had what I needed. But I did notice some of the hardware drawers I looked in were bare. Luckily they had the quantity of the size toggle bolt I thought I needed (I ended up being wrong). All in all a pretty good experience.
