On the morning of March 29, 2026 I visited Lowes within the intention of finding materials to…read morecomplete my outdoor landscaping project. My browsing through the store I came across an item that caught my attention. It's listed price was $1.78, but there was no clear indication verifying whether the price apply to the item on the bottom of the shelf or above it as I walk down the isles, I noticed that all the lower items was distinctive marked within an error, indicate bottom item is this price while the top items had no marks based on these observations-- I assume the item I wanted was the price as shown. Note: it was early morning around 7:20 AM just as the Store had open. I admit that my cognitive abilities were not fully loaded doing that hour especially on a Sunday morning nevertheless, my main focus was to purchase the item at the price displayed. After some investigation is speaking with the floor manager, it became clear that there had been a mistake due to the misleading information regarding the pricing. I explained to the manager what I saw, and that I had not come to the store early morning looking for pricing errors or glitches. As a rETIRED MILITARY and STATE EMPLOY, I wanted to make a straightforward purchase. Ultimately, I paid the actual price of the item after it was properly looked up, but the management acknowledged that the pricing information was indeed misleading. See photos

Home Depot didn't, they didn't bother to contact me, i had to call and then they acted like it was my fault. So thank goodness for Lowe's, their also going to get it done within 2 weeks, not 12 weeks to never. Ohh lowes is also getting my 25 windows and bathroom business too. Too bad not one out of 3 people at the HD store could even say they're sorry. 7 days and still no callback from a manager at that store on a larger discount. I've already gone to Lowe's, picked out countertops, had the installer come out and should have everything installed within 14 days. Don't waste your time with Home Depot At this point.

This is our local hardware store. I love to support the locals. Since we moved here, I have visited…read morehere many times to pick up hardware or other items, which they carry. My PVC irrigation pipe started to leak at the joints, therefore, I picked up some items to repair my leaky irrigation PVC pipe. This store sells much more than just hardware. For example this time I also purchased a 24 x 24 x 4 inch Honeywell air filter for my home's HVAC system. I also purchased a yellow LED outside flood light bulb. The staff here are all locals and are very knowledgeable regarding repairs and where items are located within the store. Checkout here is usually fast because they usually have two open checkout registers. I will continue to return here rather than Lowes or Home Depot, which are further away from my home.
