This family owned business is great. My parents take all of their jewelry here to get it cleaned and fixed if something happens. I stopped in today and the owner (the person minding the counter) was very pleasant. The store did not smell like mildew or dirt; I didn't notice any particular odor. There was a lot of stuff there--it may be a cooperative, though I am not sure. In no particular order, the merchandise that I noticed was: a collection of old milk and soda bottles, Japanese lusterware, Fire King ware, teapots (including Hall), jewelry, a collection of old rolling pins, Depression glass, table lamps, a whole rack of bridal gowns, Elvis Presley statuettes, old kitchen implements, cookie jars, men's vintage clothing (including military uniforms), Lionstone whiskey figural bottles, old books, glassware. Was afraid to bend in back into place as it would definitely have snapped. Took it over to this place and spoke with Bill. He tried to bend it back into place and as suspected, it snapped. He managed to make me a matching copy with some effort. So i had him make me an additional one in case i had another moment of idiocy. Also had him make me another copy of my car key and program me another remote fob for backup. Great workmanship. Really nice guy, personable and trustworthy.
