As you know with most automotive issues, they SELDOM show up when taken to the shop for repair. It took years to prove there was a problem with my transmission and less than a month to finally identify factory problems with my 2005 Civic Hybrid. My transmission began slipping after the first 2k miles of new ownership. Every darn time I took it in for service the staff would drive and it would not recreate the issue for them. Finally after 3+ years of complaints I made a decision to give the car to my son for use at college. In order to ensure his safety I also made the decision; either Honda will fix it or take the car back. After making that decision to my good fortune Tracy Honda hired a NEW Service Manager. He asked me to drive the car with him in the passenger seat which made all the difference in the world. As we were driving I explained the typical driving situations and regularity of the issue. Thank Goodness! Finally the car demonstrated as it did normally for me (poorly) and the transmission was soon repaired. This was one of the few other issues that were recently corrected as well. The other issues went back to the factory forgetting to install nuts on a rear shock or tighten nuts on the hybrid battery tray. All in all I really have to express my deep appreciation for Brian Keagan. He listened, had patience and a systematic approach to the issues and in the end he was the puzzle piece that solved the issues that had plagued my vehicle for way too long. He worked one of the most complicated situations I was stuck in and smoothed it out while making all parties happy! He delt with me: the nervous wreck of a first time car buyer, My mother in law, the strong willed German woman who will not and did not take no for an answer (to my benifit and not his) and last but not least the Aunt I was in the sticky situation with and who didnt have time to stop and chat just to sign and run. Test drove a new 2016 Honda Civic EX yesterday and fell in love. Looked around for similar car models in other brands around the area but as a current Honda owner, I knew the quality that comes with it and knew I definitely wanted either an Accord or Civic with a moonroof. Not much to choose from with our price range, maybe just 4 or 5 in low $20s at Tracy. However when we went to Tracy to look for our new car, the salesman couldn't offer us less than 8%APR on a financed deal. He didn't offer any rebates either and said that they weren't offering any promotions or 0.9%. My husband has prefect credit while mine is pretty low but I have a yearly $120,000 income. The salesman made me feel like I didn't deserve a good offer because of my score. It seemed like he didn't do the offer right because when we went to Elk Grove and Stockton Honda they made us 0.9% and 1.9%APR offers and had TONS more inventory to look at and choose from. read more

I love my Honda, but word of warning, DO NOT get your car serviced here. You will waste your time and money. The customer service here is less than acceptable. The service provided is like they just want to get their services done as quick as possible without putting the time with the customer. We have an extended warranty with the car and were still charged for an inspection. We were never charged this fee at other dealerships. In addition, after waiting over 5 hours for our car, we still did not get a car wash which was promised. It was a long day of waiting and Bad service all the way around. I want to start off by telling everyone NOT to come here. Worst service I have encountered in Northern California. Let me explain. They released a "Black Friday" deal, where they pay "Kelley Blue Book" value for used cars. I tried to turn in my 2021 Honda Civic EX (4000k miles) and they wouldn't offer me anything over 25k. They used a "reconditioning" fee in order to make back the money they were offering me for my car. So, with the 2200 reconditioning fee, they wanted to give me an out the door amount of 24800 for my car, even though Kelley Blue book has it valued at 28k. Also, they were selling a lower trim Honda Civic, same year, with 10k miles on it for 32500. Terrible terrible people. I work at Costco's tire center and tell everyone not to come here because of how bad it is. They go back on their word, aren't friendly, and are only looking to make money off of people rather than meeting people in the middle. Best dealership I've been to is Stockton Kia, they treat you like actual people instead of dollar signs. read more

I went to there today, after speaking to a salesman for over a week. We arrived there at 10:45 in the morning..I was looking at a 2016 Honda Civic Ex. To lease... The MSRP was over 23 thousand. They would only come down 700... We were there until 1:00. No deal. On our way home, we called another dealership.. Within 30 minutes, were were there, same exact car, different color for 20.5.. The driveway was under 600, I didn't trade in my car and the payments were exactly what I wanted! I was out of there before 3...... I sent a picture and the deal to the salesman Farr... I expected a congratulations and welcome to the Honda family. Instead, I got no response!! I would NEVER recommend Tracy Honda to anyone! They are "an extremely busy dealership, so we don't have to make deals" according to the gentlemen who helped us when we first arrived. Have been meaning to write this for a couple months now, but just got caught up with life. The wife and I decided it was time to get rid of the SUV and make the change to the minivan life. After a lot of shopping and a lot of dealerships, we ended up at Tracy Honda, and we couldn't be happier. The customer service was great, everyone we saw there smiled and made it a point to say hello and ask how we were doing. Steve has won me over, and I will probably never deal with another car salesman again, unless he retires. Todd in finance was awesome, explained everything perfectly, and even worked to help us when our original loan was not approved after a week. There was a young lady that helped us as well (was in the same office as Steve) and was so great and went above and beyond. Dylan was also awesome, and as he helped us that day too(we have two children below the age of 3 and needed all the help we could get). My family recently went to Tracy Honda with a specific purpose, to look at a 2014 Acura MDX we saw online. When we arrived Rafael greeted us and showed us where they had a large selection of 2014 MDX's. Rafael was absolutely gracious, kind and had the utmost patience while we looked at several cars. We never felt pressured, he was polite and retrieved keys for a few different cars. He even helped dig out a beautiful red MDX that was in the back of the lot totally blocked by other cars, just so we could take that specific car for a test drive. When we went inside to talk numbers to see if they could meet our budget, Rafael again showed patience and compassion, we truly felt he understood our needs and our budget and never pushed. When the final numbers came back, they were still over our budget. In checking other MDX's on the lot, there was another one available with the same tech package, comparable mileage, just a different color, but for less money. When we asked to see that one and take it for a test drive, Rafael was still as gracious and patient as he was when we arrived. This time the numbers came back within our budget! We happily shook hands with Rafael, and after being at the dealership for almost 4 hours, we drove off with a beautiful car that we love!! Tha only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is because we could not start the negotiation with the prIce that was initially quoted to us because we found out that we could not qualify for some of the discounts. There are two people that really give me great service and that's Jeremy and Daniel (I think he is new). always friendly and never pushy!
