All Trader Joes' are awesome, but this one beats them all! I went today to return the cat litter that I bought about a week ago. Within that week, my kitty cat was eaten by a coyote, so just going in there was a little bit of a downer. Woodrow was the sweetest...he helped without asking any questions about the cat litter. And he let me exchange it for something else. Sometimes just going to Trader Joe's just makes my day, and in this case, my whole year. It's nice to know there are just plain ol' good people out there still. By the way, the cat litter there is natural and amazing. And it lasts wayyy longer than most cat litters. I always like when we get the chance to shop at Trader Joe's. You can always find something new that you're excited to try, and I am able to find a decent amount of vegan lunch staples to get so I don't have to worry about lunch for about a week. Next time you go there, find the cheese-less pizza with the shiitake mushrooms. One of my favorite things of all time. read more

Love this Trader Joe's! The staff is always really helpful and friendly and always asking if you are finding everything okay. The only down side to this TJ's is that there are ALWAYS solicitors out front asking for money... anyone from Greenpeace (really loud and obnoxious and didn't want to take no for an answer) to helping the homeless (always very courteous). read more

This location has the best flower section of all the Trader Joe's in the area. The prices are great, and they have many international products as well as organic foods and special diet needs. They have the best prices on dairy and eggs. When I was a vegetarian this was my go to place as all the foods are clearly labeled. read more

Everyone here is incredibly friendly, as well as helpful. When my hand basket got too full, a gentleman (I think Joe?) offered to carry it up to the registers for me. My cashier was super cheerful and made plenty of small talk. I am particularly very appreciative of Danny from the front end. While I was loading my groceries into the car a huge bug flew in and terrified me. Danny was outside getting carts and was able to help me get rid of the bug (took about 5 mins) seeing as I was way too scared to be anywhere near my car. Thanks Danny! read more

Ok this will be simple trader joes has amazing meals ready and some that need to be cooked but the quality wow! So in love with there scallops there a little on the pricey side but not really due to the size of them them come frozen and just need to be defrosted but let me tell you amazing!!! You get one star simply bc the bathrooms are disgusting. Feces on the toilet, trash and urine on the floor. If I wasn't in such desperate need of going I would have waited till I got home. Had to open the door with my elbow after washing my hands twice. Totally disappointed. Nasty!! read more

This location seems to be lacking. I went here because I expected good produce like the other locations, but was sadly let down. Nearly all of the tomatoes out were moldy - how embarrassing for TJ's! Also I couldn't even find regular old white onions, they were only selling a "bombo" of 1 white, 1 yellow, 1 red. Ridiculous! read more

I Picked up a bag of milk chocolate covered potato chips this weekend. WOW those were good, salty, crunchy, savory and good for you.

We've gone to all TJs in the Irvine area and they are all wonderful. We particularly like this Culver location because they stock better and seem to have more choices. Two things make TJs a wonderful grocery: value products and super friendly helpful staff. You'll find that consistently at this store. read more

Products are well organized, clean, and all Trader Joe's workers are friendly.

Good prices, Friendly people, but it just seemed too crowded with crappy parking. The fruit/ vegetables selection left much to be desired. Was doing my weekly shopping at my neighborhood Trader Joe's on Monday mid morning and was touched by the warm and helpful attention given to a couple shopping for thier weekly eats. You see the couple were both blind and the Trader Joes employee was very patient and moved thru out the store with them on thier shopping, helping them pick out thier needs down to the type of wine and price. I have a Trader Joes by my house, but it doesn't even compare to this location. I came into this Trader Joes on Christmas Eve to get some last minute goodies and I was a litlle stressed with the crowds. I got greeted when I walked through the door and then got asked if I had questions or was looking for anything two times while I was grabbing goodies! A gentleman even recomended a Peach Sparkling Wine for me to try so I did and it was great!!!! When I checked out my checker was very kind. It is very confusing to me why so many frozen products do not have any expiration dates. Almost all of their froze products are branded Trader Joe's. So shouldn't the company make more efforts to protect its own image? If there were no preservatives in these products, how long could they be good for? The customers need to stop being so passive and do what I have been doing: voicing the concerns with these frozen products. Their mixed seafood packages are NOT even inspected by US department of agriculture. And yet, some people just buy them without asking any questions. Whatever. If the customers do not start to get smarter, these people will never try to work harder to upgrade the food safety. The only good thing about this place is that the staff are somewhat friendly. Plus, the vegetables are sold at a reasonable price. read more

Pro : Good selection of variety foods that you may not find them in normal supermarket. Con: There is always a person who is asking you for donation in front of the store. They sometimes said something that bother me a lots. The store manager must be blind to let this going on for years. There is even a sign that said "shopping without distraction". The best solution is to get rid of those people so you do not have put up the sign. Your IQ measurement please? read more

Not nearly enough peanut dressing on the Crunchy Slaw with Chicken and Crispy noodles salad. Halfway through, you're eating dry lettuce and they don't sell the peanut dressing that comes with the salad separately. Fix this and you get 5 stars. read more

Trader Joe's = DELICIOUS! I love how cheap and yummy everything is...I usually come out of there with more than I intended on buying. I had the worst experience out of any Trader Joe's at this store. It was pretty dead when I came in there to buy a couple of beers. As I went into the checkout aisle, the cashier didn't greet me, just remained silent. "Ok", I thought, maybe he's just having a bad day. I asked for a discount, because I work at another Tjs. He calls the manager over, and says "This guy CLAIMS he works at another store." The manager comes over and asks me where I work. I told him, and I also told him I used to work at this store (because I did, a few years ago). Lucky, the manager, says "Well I used to work at Hollywood, but you know, nobody cares.." I was just trying to make conversation, what a jerk. Treating customers like that is unacceptable. It was generally a rude experience, both from the cashier and the manager (Lucky). Again, this is coming from a TJ's employee! I will never shop at this store again. read more

This is the best place to shop! The produce is always fresh and they have a very large selection. I try and make it to TJ's at least twice a week to help my wife out with the shopping. They also have an awesome variety of beef and seafood. read more

This is a small trader joe's, but it has a cozy feel and I usually can always find parking. I generally come here on my lunch break since it's very close by. Basically trader joe's is good at pre-packaged items and that's what I go there to buy. I generally don't buy their produce because it seems strange to have the produce pre-packaged and I don't like that. read more

I am a regular at this particular Trader Joe's it's close to UCI. The Employees, TJ's Cashier and Staff can be very very friendly at times to specific kind people.....I would like to warn new students who are of color especially freshman students there is profiling and discrimination at this particular grocery store, I subject when you go grocery shopping for your dorm, The Best Check Out Lines are of Younger Cashier Employees and Staff, most are students and go to UCI and they provide best customer service!! They have a conversation with you care about your day. When you go to the wrong lines, I don't want you to have the experiences I've had and my other friends who are of color that shop at this particular grocery store. The same treatment goes when you drink there coffee and taste their samples, The Older cashier and staff, Do not greet people of color!!! When you shop they follow you around.....It's disgusting. The funny thing is they are under construction and the parking there is really impossible I would think they would make the effort to be a little more nice to all kinds of people that shop there.....because they are not exactly upscale material with all that construction lol read more

i freaking love this trader joe's. the staff is so nice and friendly here. like waaay more than any other tj's i've been to. they've also recently extended their hours from 8am to 9pm. pretty darn good of them. i'm a fan of sprouted bread and they've always got sesame in stock, so that's great. they've also got kefir here and it's not too pricey. they only have strawberry and plain, but still good. i'm a fan of strawberry myself. the selection of fruits and veggies is pretty good. depends on the day you go in, but i do like that there's always bananas! love it. they've also got a pretty big selection of cheeses and hummus. i'm a big lover of both, so it's nice to make only one stop to pick up groceries for the week. al in all. one of my fave tj spots and so nice that it's so close to home. read more

I love this store like most other TJ's I've been to, and find it convenient that it's in a shopping mall with other places that I also go to, like Curry House. The parking lot gets pretty crazy at night and on weekends, but I will park farther away so avoid the stress of finding a closer spot. read more

Great selection, friendly staff, and always serving some type of sample, this location is a good bet. They need to have more food stations because they usually only have one with one person working it. Otherwise, this Trader Joes has nice selection with somewhat reasonable price and a friendly group of workers. read more

A Terrible experience at Trader Joes today. They were giving out samples of Mediterranean dip Chicken wraps and my seven year old along with me tried one and the server did not fail to say don't take that or you might get sick.Upon asking what are you putting in it that will make her sick, the server started to make a face and had no answer. Never had such a bad experience at that Trader Joes, well their loss not mine. We always thought its a customer friendly store and associates have a great attitude towards the customers; not any more; if you don't want your customers to try the samples might as well shut that window or store chain down. read more
