So, I've been going to this Trader Joe's for about 12 years. I've watched managers and employees come and go. I'm a big fan of Trader Joe's because of their affordable prices, community service, natural foods, healthy comfort foods, and seasonal varieties. The counter table is great. The coffee samples were wonderful but needed when COVID was active. The ambience of the store is typically pleasant. The employees are like a box of chocolates. "You never know what you will get". Yet, for the most part, I have encountered some nice employees who are kind, positive, respectful, and share some of their experiences with the items for sale. There are usually employees found around the store who can help find items or look up to see if something is out of stock. This Trader Joe's is kid friendly, offering lollipops, stickers, and mini carts to keep the kids busy.

I love my local Trader Joe's!! Although smaller than some of the other TJ's in the area, the produce is always fresh and reasonably priced. They've definitely been stepping up their vegan game over the last few years as well! The last time I was here, I was searching for a handful of vegan wines for my annual Friendsgiving, and Carly and Manager Scott went above and beyond helping me look into different brands by Googling and/or contacting the distributors directly if there wasn't any info on their wine lists. Oh, and if you haven't tried TJ's cauliflower gnocchi yet, you don't know what you're missing!

I like Trader Joe's overall. I have been to a couple of their locations including this one. I like their selection and quality of items they sell. I don't always agree with their prices but that's true with me and other places too. It's a small shop but overall, you can find a good variety of items from produce, dairy, juices to baked goods, cereal, nuts, frozen foods, beer and wine. I have had good experiences here in all my visits. I like to browse through their isles for items that aren't even on my grocery list. I like their beer, cereal and frozen foods sections the most. They also have a good selection of baked goods. Their staff is friendly and helpful. Their service is good. Go check them out if you haven't been here before.

Trader Joe's is the place to go if you want to find unusual and hard to find items! They have everything I needed on this shopping trip! They limit the number of customers in at any one time, they have staff at the front entrance guarding it, if there's too many inside, then you just have to wait outside until they are ready for you to enter! The staff are very friendly and helpful!

I was preparing two different mocktails for a happy hour and needed few ingredients and was hoping I would find them at Trader Joe's. (pineapple juice, grapefruit juice, coconut milk and fresh cream). Thanks to the help I received at the store I found everything on my list. Social distancing rules were observed throughout the store, and at checkout.

Trader Joe's has been one of my favorite grocery store in the US for years with Whole Goods Market. This Trader's Joes has been offering consistently organic, non-GMO, relatively affordable innovative and delicious products in a relaxing atmosphere with a customer-oriented staff! The venue has been pristine. It was easy to park.

Again, this is my favorite chain of grocery stores in the United States and this shop is not an exception!

The friendliest crew around. Fun music. Samples! Free suckers for the kids. Bells. Great produce. What's not to like?! Well, I wish they stayed open until 10 but I can work with 9. Seriously, there is a reason this chain has a cult following. Cookie butter. Cookie butter cups. Cookie butter ice cream. Cookie butter cookies. Two Buck Chuck is a great base for sangria. The coconut pancake mix is to die for. My son eats the salsa like I wish he would eat fruits & vegetables. And the organic choices are vast and affordable - fresh and frozen. I wish I had lived near a TJs when my kids were younger; we would've eater fewer chemicals!

It is a subsidiary of the nationwide grocery chain Albertson's (which purchased it in 1999). We stopped in this location in LIbertyville, IL, to pick up some whiskey while on a visit. It's a larger store, and was the first time I saw a dedicated 'cellar' like retail space to sell wine (initially I thought it was a wine cooler but realized it was not). Going to the liquor section, it had all the standards and the prices were reasonable comparably (cheaper than your local liquor store but more expensive than a alcohol superstore like Binnys). Some of the hard liquor was behind locked glass, though the prices didn't seem too much higher than what was openly available. Checkout was pleasant, where the friendly cashier made small talk once she realized we were from California.

They have by far the best fried and grilled chicken I've had, especially from a grocery store. Their grilled chicken pieces are seasoned with a nice unique peppery rub and then grilled. On my trip this week to IL, I could help but keep telling my fiancee of this chicken, which was one of my highlights of this trip. Their fresh fruit trays are pretty good too. The prices in this store are pretty decent for the area.

I'm not sure if there's other international markets in this area that are really anywhere near as large (super huge stores like H-Mart, Assi, Seafood City, etc. are quite far from Mundelein). This store is truly impressive in the amount of options offered from hot food to produce to dried foods to foods from other local shops. Due to the size of the store, there is considerably more room to walk around and check out products here even where they're busy -- similar to the experience you'd get a Woodman's. The amount of decorations and displays is definitely much better here than most other grocery stores, rivaling Mariano's in terms of presentation. Prices are fair here, particularly for the international items which are competitively priced here compared to non-specialty stores. The produce is fresh and plentiful, with options for more unusual fruits and vegetables as well. At the end of the store, there's also a spot for dining and a few small shops. Overall worth a trip if you're looking for a one-stop-shop for all your grocery needs. This provides a comprehensive and enjoyable shopping expereince.
