They charge fees without telling you which is why they don't give you receipts unless you ask. Scammers!

Despite some negative reviews left by some of the past shoppers, my experience with this liquor…read morestore the other day was quite good. The selection is not necessarily massive. For the particular brand of tequila I was in for, however, the store only carried the Blanco (silver) one so no Reposado and/or Anejo. I, however, was able to walk away with its tequila-based coffee liqueur (Cantera Negra Cafe) which I had always wanted to try. The employees (pretty much all of them) were very professional and courteous for my shopping needs. The store is a good size. Very organized where things aren't cramped into the space. Very clean indeed. On Thursday and Saturday, they do tastings (4-7pm on Thursdays and 3-6pm on Saturdays); the designated tasting area is on the north end of the shop. You can park in the Whole Foods garage (there is a door to it inside the shop; this is convenient especially when the weather is bad with rain or show.) I don't come to this part of town very often but it's nice to know that a good liquor store with high-end feel exists right in the heart of Belmar shopping area.

Service was great.... The only thing I regret was asking if they had wine tasting classes? If you do not.... Hint hint hint

This is my favorite liquor store in Bear Valley and it has been for a decade or more. The owners…read moreare a wonderful Korean family simply could not be more pleasant and helpful. They smile anytime I enter and that makes me smile. The prices are solid and reasonable and they have a huge selection of beer, whine, champagne and liquor. I've never failed to find what I seek at this store. They even have a wonderful shop dog I enjoy petting and saying hello to. The store is clean, well organized and laid out very well. I will continue to shop this liquor store as my primary store as I simply love the people that own it. I'd feel guilty shopping elsewhere. I highly recommend this store. They have great parking right in front of the door. You walk 15 feet and you're through the front door.

This was a totally random stop for me on the way back from the burbs to a bday party. When I was in grad school at DU (many, many moons ago) I actually lived just up the street from here but have no recollection of making any visits to Sir. You'll find all the typicals here - all your mainstream beers, some imports, a lot of wine and a shocking amount of shooters. I was a little hesitant to much for any of the wines here because it was actually pretty hot in there. So, I ended up with a bottle of chilled champagne. Hope it turned out to be tasty! Anyhoo, nothing fancy here (no champagne in cans, boo hoo) but totally serviceable.
