    Terrible salad
    Jason H.

Ordered caesar salad w grolled salmon. It arrived 20 minutes before any of the other food at the table. A caesar is dressed. This was not. The dressing was brown. Which is odd. I did not eat it. I got 2 thin pieces of dry toast with nothing on it as well. Whooo!

Beautiful place lay out well and hotel next to it. Food was just okay, the cocktail menu was nice for late night but overall was just okay for a quick bite to eat. You could enjoy a date or meeting because the space is nice where you can talk to someone in a nice quiet environment

Pretty good food especially for a hotel. A little slim pickings if you are traveling with children who are picky. Attentive staff and quick service. The shrimp taco had a very dry tortilla and had a very scant amount of filling.

Stop in, place wasn't busy. Waiter stood talking to a gentleman at the bar who was later identified as executive chef just chatting. Took a little bit, he made it over to the table usual restaurant routine. We place our orders and watch the waiter continue visiting with the gentleman at the bar another guess. A short time while later the lady comes out with our dishes, which by the way looked delicious. My daughter said dad mines cold, I stirred mine up, and it was room temperature. The other person and our party had a $15 grilled cheese was Just a clump of hard cheese. The young lady that brought the food to the table asked how everything was and we shared with her that the food was cold and she seemed genuinely concerned. She introduced herself as the executive manager of traditions. She offered to have new dishes made but even with her bringing the order to the table I had concerns about what happened to these dishes that we just ordered. My concern was that one item wasn't done, and they were just left sitting in the kitchen either by a vent or fan. We found it very odd that when we were sharing our concerns she covered up her name tag and said this is it my name I forgot my name take it home so I'm just wearing somebody else's. Then she brought out a business card and said the information was incorrect but the email address was correct. I don't think it's a bad restaurant it's very beautiful, the food looked amazing. Personally when I go there again probably not, there are many selections in the city. I do wish them the best. P.S. I also understand that restaurants are struggling to find good help.

The photos looked incredible, and the stellar reviews confirmed it wasn't just good lighting. I was sold--even if Waze had other ideas! After my GPS took me on a scenic tour of South Bend, I almost gave up. I called the restaurant, and the staff graciously guided me in. From the outside, the brick building looks like a standard office, but once you step inside, you realize you've stumbled upon a total hidden gem. It feels like a beautiful secret. Upon entering, the entire staff welcomed me so warmly that I felt like I was catching up with old friends. I walked past the elegant bar and chose a seat in the dining room. The ambiance is romantic, relaxing, beautifully decorated, and quaint--yet completely comfortable if you are dining alone. I opted for the tasting menu, which is served as a total surprise. For a true foodie, this is pure heaven. I didn't dislike a single dish. In fact, each plate brought so much joy that I caught myself closing my eyes just to savor the flavors and the atmosphere. As I told the staff on my way out: "The food was so good, it makes you want to cry!" (Happy tears, of course!). If you're a local who hasn't been, GO. If you're traveling for work, GO. If you have a special occasion, GO. Life is short--take the road trip to South Bend just for Roselily. The menu changes so I'll be back every chance I get! My only actual complaint? The owner wasn't there for me to beg him to open a second location in Lexington, KY!

We did the six-course chef's tasting with wine pairings and every single course delivered. The food was creative, beautifully presented, and incredibly well-balanced, and the wine pairings elevated everything even further. You can tell there is real thought and precision behind every detail--from the menu to the pacing of the meal. And the ambiance was a total vibe! But what truly made the experience stand out was the service. The team struck that rare balance of being both highly professional and genuinely warm. Nothing felt scripted. It felt personal. When they learned we were close to graduating from our MBA program, they surprised us with a menu signed by the entire staff, filled with handwritten notes of encouragement. One simply said, "Follow your dreams." That moment will stick with me forever: core memory unlocked. This is the kind of detail you do not forget. This is not just a great restaurant--it is a full experience. I would absolutely put Roselily at Michelin-star level. If you appreciate thoughtful, elevated dining with exceptional service, this place is worth going out of your way for. We will be back for sure!

We sat on their beautiful patio with a perfect view of the St. Joseph River- what a treat! There are opportunities to sit in so many places it felt a bit like a maze in the best way- so much to see! And with all of these places to sit, on a lovely Friday night- this place was poppin'! So we'd likely recommend a reservation if you think of it, but I'm certain the wonderful staff would be able to fit you in as they can! We waited a moment for our food, but with our large group, we were happy to do so as the food was worth the wait! Many of our group got OG Burgers while others opted for chicken wings and brisket sandwiches, or even tacos! They really had it all! The food had a bit of a kick with the spice, but as someone with not a high spice tolerance, it was not too much at all! I didn't get a chance to snap a pic of our dishes because we just scarfed them down- Ha! The service was attentive, but also really independent and relaxed! Cared for, but not micromanaged in the slightest! Free to laugh loud and make memories with no rush out! Worth the stop if you can make it! What a joy!!

My vegan friend had bibimbap w/jackfruit that was very flavorful & large serving. I had poke with spicy shrimp. Very good. I did not feel mine was spicy at all. Perfectly done. We needed a carry out box for the fries because the shared servings were large & yummy. Surprised that our water had no ice. I would definitely recommend for a change of pace & especially if needing vegan entrees. So few restaurants offer that. Prices were very reasonable too. Also good for meat lovers. Glad I did. The salad was ok. The salami was smokey it added to the veggies. But for the price it was small and disappointing. 2 people got the prime rib sandwich and it was pretty sloppy. It's better to eat with a knife and fork. I was told it was good. The sweet potato fries have cayenne pepper on them. The chopped salad with tofu was also disappointing. The tofu had a weird bbq type sauce. The server was nice and she was fine. The atmosphere is more high scale. Just disappointed in the taste of the food and portion to cost. Cool experience being on campus but you're paying for it.

What left me puzzled is food. What I loved were fries, round shaped which I thought was rather unusual and just the right amount of salt, crispiness, softness inside. That's about it though. As a main dish I picked prosciutto focaccia and while on paper it looked great, it came out very dry, almost stale, I didn't enjoy it at all. While fries were great, the portion of it was tiny. Like, 10 or 11 fries in a small plate. My partner got a chicken sandwich and it was good. Now, the kids got kids burger which comes with fries too and I swear the kids plate had double the fries compared to my side. We also got kids pasta and it was the same size as someone's pasta from our party. I mean, great value for kids menu items, sure, but I'm just not sure why adult dishes are so slim compared to kids. When they brought the check we noticed two items in it that we didn't order, which we realized after paying for it and looking at the receipt (they use portable terminals and have an option to text you the receipt). Our server corrected the mistake and refunded the difference for the two items we didn't order promptly after we pointed it out but this still left a bad aftertaste for us; we don't always look at receipts and this one would've gone unnoticed for sure, we only looked because total seems a bit too high. I also noticed that the soup upcharge on the menu is $2, but on the check it was $3. Pointed it out to the server too but she didn't do anything about it. It's just a dollar so we didn't press for it, and again, only noticed it because we started looking at the receipt due to unusually high total. Anyway, it was nice to visit, but we won't be back.
