I called 2 days later (because I knew it wasnt a difficult fix) and they admitted it was ready. My mom came to pick up my dress and they charged us $100 in cash! I went in today to resolve this, and made it plain that I plan on escalating the issue if they don't refund us. So this is me escalating the issue. I'm attaching 3 images of the inside of their uncleanly shop; you'll notice food, loose wiring hanging from the ceiling, and just general dirtiness.

From jeans, dress pants, to dresses and gowns hemming and size adjustments, Yi has done a great job each time. A week ago, I dropped off three outfits and my son's coat. The coat was torn at on odd spot so I wondered how he would fix it without ruining the look of the coat. I asked for my three outfits to be resized as I had purchased them bigger. On one, I asked if he could add pockets and he said yes. It only took him a week to finish all 4. My son's coat was stitched on both sides as if it was part of the coat's style. My outfits fit perfectly and the one with no pockets now have two. I am so thankful for him. The place itself is a little unorganized but the awesome service you get with the affordable price can't be beat!

They did such an amazing job at the time -- the fit was perfect, and I was really happy with how everything turned out. I recently came back to have a wedding guest dress tailored, but unfortunately, my experience this time wasn't the same. I requested a specific dress length, but when I tried it on, it wasn't altered to the length I asked for. On top of that, the price was much higher than I expected. It seems as if they just come up with random high prices. Because of this, I'll likely continue going to my other tailor moving forward.
