Loser deal . They say you need an appointment . Which you can't get for several days. I came to the location there's a sign saying if nobody was there they could squeeze you in .. I watched multiple people leave. The managers a total A hole who could care less about your business. I suggest going elsewhere . Where in the world is there a place that won't let you look around the outdoor lot without having a salesman trying to get you to buy immediately . Mediocre brands overpriced . I'm just not happy because it's a classic corporate place where they could care less about your business . Horrible experience. Wanted to buy and modify a trailer. Woman on phone who set appointment specifically set it to discuss my modification requests with someone onsite. I'd already driven out there to look at trailers. This was just to discuss purchase and modifications. I got there and met with Jose who told me they can't do the modifications. Jose also lied to me. He said this was brand new so the woman on the phone would not have known. However, he had told me that when I had met with him previously a month earlier. It wasn't new at all. I had double confirmed this with the woman because of what he said before, but she assured me they could do the modifications. Accordinglly, I drove all the way back at my appointment time. I live an hour away. But, Jose said they couldn't. I told him that was the only reason I drove all the way back. He told me not to raise my voice. I hadn't. But, I was frustrated. He was not one bit interested in my frustration, that I wasted an e tore afternoon coming out there for misinformation. He could not care less. Completely dismissed me. Apparently, they sell so many trailers, they couldn't care less about customers. It was a terrible experience. A waste of time. I'm so upset that I drove so far for nothing bad they don't care. I asked to speak to the manager, John. Jose said he was in a meeting and would I like to wait. No thanks. Jose said John would call me. He hasn't. This place is just awful. DON'T GO HERE!!! There are other stores. What a complete waste of time and gas. I will be going elsewhere. What an ungrateful, unsympathetic lot of losers at that store. read more

Trailers plus in Fillmore is not the place to go for purchasing a trailer. I have been trying to purchase a 6x12 dump trailer for months now. Every time they get one, it is immediately reserved. I have asked that they order one for me, and I would pay up front for it. I have been willing to put a deposit down for one as well or at least have my name put on a list when they get one. I have checked daily on their site, but they always seem sold the day they get them. I have been repeatedly told to drive to Bakersfield or some other Location over 100 miles away to buy one. They refuse to order one,. They refuse to negotiate with other locations to get one and you should consider your self lucky to get a reply from them. I have been told that I will receive a call from a sales manager. It is now Three months later and multiple attempts to make contact with one, I have heard nothing. Currently the excuse is "Because of COVID-19 you should make an appointment to come in and talk to one of our staff about what you want." Why the heck would I go in if you don't have a trailer and you won't order one and you won't try to get one. Since my initial interest and attempt to purchase, the trailer, prices have increased $1,000. Yet even after offering CASH to purchase the dump trailer, I get the "We don't have any on our lot and don't know when we will, you should try one of the other locations. This is the poorest run business I have dealt with in a very long time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH TRAILERS PLUS in Fillmore, California. Apparently I will have to drive 4 hours round trip to Bakersfield to do business. I think I will just pass and find another business. TrailersPlus--IS A HORRIBLE BUSINESS. read more

These people at TrailersPlus in Fillmore provided me with a quote for a specific trailer, then said they were only available two days from when when we talked as their appointments were full. I asked if I could pay for this trailer over the phone, and they said no you can pay us on Friday at 4pm when we have scheduled you for a purchase appointment. On Friday I was just about to leave around noon for the 200 mile round trip to Fillmore when John from TrailersPlus (Trailers plus broken promises) called to say they had sold it yesterday. To add insult to injury they said they could not get another trailer like that for 3 weeks or more, and John said he was not sure he could not sell it to me when it finally arrived for the same price. This completely threw my personal project off pace. I was going to buy three larger trailers in August for my business, but now I will do everything I can to ensure we do not buy from a Trailer vendor who's word is excrement. I liked their up to date and informative web site. Their prices were very competitive. It's hard to find used enclosed cargo trailers for any less than their new ones. I checked them out today and went home with a black 5X8 Victory with Dexter axle c. 2800 GVW... almost a ton..not that I'll likely ever come close to that it speaks to quality and strength. I somewhat wanted a side door, but it wasn't that important for the added weight and price. I got the ramp in case I ever need to transport my 250 Ninja. It was quie easy to load, though it's important to duck. The ceiling is low. Out the door, including sales tax and 5 year registration, it was a little over $2500 cash with a spare tire and lock for the hitch. John Coleman, sales manager, was very friendly, informative and thorough in conducting the sale. He went over paper work, safety and maintenance items in detail. There is no high pressure here. Bought a trailer a year ago. Finally went to put my gear in and found that the door size is much smaller than the interior of the trailer. I purchased the size trailer so that the gear would fit inside and looked at the website to ensure that it would fit. I called and asked what they could do to help fix it and they told me they would look into it and call back later that day. Never called back. I waited a week and then called, but they were closed on Monday. Monday. The corporate office answered and told me that someone would get back to me that day. Didn't happen. When they finally called today, I was told that there was nothing they could do. I wouldn't buy anything from a company that doesn't know the dimensions of their product and then takes weeks to assure you that you are screwed. They would have had a lifelong customer had they tried to make this right, but now all they have is a customer who will never buy from them again and who will never recommend them. Bad business and terrible customer service. Beware. Update! Nowhere on their website does it list door dimensions. That is completely untrue. And zero response to the horrible customer service they provided. read more

So this is not a bad trailer, but I purchased a 20 foot enclosed trailer with two 3500 lb axles with electric brakes on both. Was told I could put a car inside. Needed it for moving furniture and boxes across country. Maybe had 2000 lbs in side at the most. The tires were almost flat. Had 50psiof air in all tires when cold like they wanted and still almost flat.. Well come to find out the tires are C rated 6 ply... They are a trailer tire but not what should be on this trailer. Had to stop at a tire shop and make sure they were not going flat. Tire dealer said they should be a D or E rated tire with out any question... If I would have spent the extra money on the upgraded trailer I would have got E rated tires. But for us how can't afford it we get the junk and hope we make it tires. Called and was told to bad can't help you. They are fine... So either I sell the trailer that is 45 days old. Or I have to put my own tires on to correct issue... They do not stand behind there product.. I would not buy this trailer again read more

DO NOT order a custom trailer from this store OR have warranty repairs done. When I received my trailer it had a number of issues: over tightened screws which distorted the skins, poorly fabricated components, leaking door, stuck windows. etc. I brought it back to have the skins replaced, etc. and it came back looking worse. The skins were loose compared tho the factory build, distorted/bent in some areas and the "weather strip" along the roof edge wasn't replaced along with the skins leaving a bumpy crooked mess with holes in it. I had that replaced and it wasn't much better. In addition they somehow managed to leave a screw behind under the skin which bulges out. I was told everything was to factory standards so rather than lose my deposit I decided to take it and not let them damage it anymore. This was one of the most disappointing purchases I've ever made. "The customer is always right" does not apply here. The right thing to do would've been to offer a full refund or a deep discount for a "refurbished with flaws" trailer. I recommend buying a Wells Cargo instead. read more
