Do NOT buy from here they cheat the customers. I agreed and put a hold on to purchase a 6x10 trailer for for $7979. When I got there the trailer had went up $200. I looked the same trailer up the next day it had went down $400. This type of practice is cheating the customer. They tried to blame the finance company, but the company had already given me my brake down with all the number in a email so I knew they wasn't telling the truth plus I called. When I called trailer plus main office or even other locations they could not explain why this was happing. I can, its called taken advantage of your customers. Once you get to the location they put in more fee's and start nickel and dime you. And one off them is a ex-police officer. Do yourself a favor and find another place to do business. read more

I started my search for an enclosed trailer a few weeks ago. I came across trailer plus and started shopping. I left my info online and was immediately contacted by Delci. I had mistakenly reserved a trailer out of the Live Oak location and she was more than happy to move my reservation to the Lodi store. She set me up with an appointment on short notice. Kudos! I showed up to my appointment a half hour early this morning and after a few minutes of sitting I got a call from one of the team members. He asked if that was me parked out front. When I told him it was me he told me to come in and we'd get started. He mentioned he didn't want me sitting out there waiting. Kudos! When I looked at the trailer I reserved I immediately knew it was too small. He said no problem and showed me my options. I settled on a 6 X 12 and started the paperwork. It was fast, smooth and detailed. A pleasant buying experience. Kudos! Once that was done I was taken outside where another gentleman walked me through the hookup process. Showed me all the bells and whistles. This guy knew his stuff. Answered all my questions thoroughly. When he was done another gentlemen came out and did the final paperwork. Kudos! I wish I could remember their names but all 3 team members went above and beyond their duties. Hell, they even offered me a donut and water. I would definitely recommend the Lodi location. When I purchased the LoadRunner trailer in Lodi I was promised unmatched after sale customer service which I never received. I called for months to get my "complimentary" inspection and nobody would EVER return my calls. After about 4 months a manager from Idaho called me back and said that Lodi didn't have the staff to do any trailer service and wouldn't in the foreseeable future. So much for great service after the sale. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely go somewhere else because what good is a warranty when I have to hunt down a place hours away to take a look at it. read more

We waited for an appointment for 2 weeks to come and look at 2 trailers they "supposedly" reserved for us...when we arrived for our appointment we were told that both trailers were sold and that they tried to call us...they called, never left a message! Don't deal with these guys. Found a trailer we wanted listed on CL for $3269, called and asked if we could get it off the lot at $3500 cash. Guy told us no but could do $3700 off the lot. Called back today and said he couldn't do it since the price of the trailer was $3450. Told him his CL ad said $3269 (with link and screenshot) and he stated "you know how sales are, we do that to get you on the lot and upsell you". Bait and switch, failure to return calls and not willing to work with us for another 5 days......no thanks. Take our cash somewhere else. You can do better than this place. read more

Been searching and researching utility trailers for close to a year now. With the current times it's been harder to find the exact trailer so I was set on having to buy two trailers at once to cover all my equipment. I went back and fourth over the phone and finally reserved one of the two trailers I wanted but found another trailer for a couple hundred cheaper at a different location. When my appointment time came I told the salesman that I was interested in both trailers and really wanted a certain one that another place had for cheaper and the salesman basically blew me off! This place doesn't have good customer service!! I'm a believer in customer service so this ticked me off! I was going there to buy two trailers at once and this salesman treated me like I was lying about finding a different trailer for cheaper! Well guess what, I cancelled my appointment with them hours before and called the other place and purchased theirs instead. I even told the other place on the phone that I had a appointment with trailer plus and the salesman was a jerk. Reserved my trailer online. Made multiple attempts on my end to set up an appointment to pick it up. The appointment was for 4 days after the trailer hold would fall off. They said I would have to re-reserve it after my hold fell off in order to have it at my appointment date and "hopefully" I could still reserve it. Called back to see if I could speak to the store directly. Operator informed me they mad a mistake and they booked the 1500 appointment on 7/5 with someone else and they could only do 10:00 on the 5th. I said "business must be really good to walk away from a $9,000 sale". She responded "yes it is". Guess they don't need my business. Tried to get them to connect me with the Lodi office so I could talk to someone locally, but they would not do it. read more

All the guys at TrailerPlus went above and beyond for my husband and I after the first dump trailer was stolen from us. Our theft insurance company was a complete nightmare from start to finish! Despite all the hurdles the insurance company threw at us they didn't give up! They kept pushing and within a few weeks we were out the door with a new trailer! Went to other Trailer Plus locations near Sacramento and those guys sounded like they didn't know what they were doing. Stopped by this place in Lodi and were greeted by Curtis at front counter. They have to worst Services. When There few years back to get a small trailer and had a bad experience so I went to there location in Reno And got the trailer. Calling this location on Tuesday to see if I could come by to look st the trailers and they telling me they Not doing to more sells and that was around 4 pm And they close at 6. Glenn again today and they're telling me that they're closed already and they have a sign on the door saying 6 PM closing that is a really bad service they offer in right now I caught him before 5 o'clock turn and I was on my way to look at a trailer if the price is right I'll buy one never told me that the sale man is going home. The assistant manager didn't want to give me the corporate office number telling me to call there store number and they won't answer the call and it will go to corporate. When calling them to get a deal they kept telling me to come in to make a deal. They close at 6 so I decided to be there at 445 to see and see if the price is right then I was going to get it. If a place closed at 6 and they still wanted to make the sell they won't tell a customers they are closing at 445 pm and can't sell any more.when call corporate it's going to their voicemail. How do you rate a 0 star?? We just arrived and were told we couldn't park where we were and were told that we can only park on the street. Only people who come to buy can drive in. Then he asked if we had an appt! Seriously! When you go to a car delearship do you have to make an appt to look at their inventory? We had cash, ready to purchase! The kid walked away mumbling behind our back and when called out he quickly changed his tune. Needless to say, we left and would never be back. Customer service at its worst! You only get one chance in life to make a lasting impression and that impression will keep us away for good. Spend you money wisely elsewhere. I would have to say this purchase has been the worst experience of buying in my 57 years. The first trip to Trailers Plus, the person assisting us was rude, not a customer service guy, just a take it or leave it type. We did make a second appointment to view the trailer that we wanted. He seemed a little nicer until it was time to do the deal. NO DEAL! The MSRP that they list on their ads is a lie. The trailer we bought stated MSRP $10,040 online, but the sales contract stated MSRP was $7170.00 - big difference. I am sure they will come up with some story to the difference, the guy was full of excuses. I made an offer on the trailer, but that wasn't going anywhere as they have the market on these trailers, and they know it, he just said he'd check, but nope, no deal. No where in their ad do they state that they will charge you a $69 doc fee. On the contract it states "Negotiated" - LOL! Then they overcharged us in sales tax. He tried to adjust the price but I finally settled overpaying $5, just got tired of the haggle. He was emailing the COE the whole time. This experience was worse than buying a new car, which we did last week and it was smooth, no appointment needed, no games, no "Covid" locked doors. Looking around? Maybe a different location if you are looking to purchase an Interstate trailer. This experience was too exhausting. read more

Made an appointment as requested to go look at enclosed trailers. Seems this location is doing so well they didn't want our business. Maybe they like to cater to the "higher status" clientele. I am unsure, but before we even got a chance to step on to the lot to look at the trailers, I get a phone call. They are asking me what I was going to use it for, what size?, etc. After I advise what I am going to use it for he proceeds to school me on making sure I have done my research so I am county compliant, etc. Etc. Even though I advised that it is pretty much my problem once it is off their lot as this was a 100% cash purchase, he still continues to school me on "what other peoples mistakes" where. I was truly beginning to feel like they just didn't want my business. I am sure there are plenty of other companies out there that could uscash sales! Sad really. We were looking very forward to purchasing our new trailer this weekend through them. I am so glad that covid has not brought this company so far down that they can treat the prospective customers like this and lose a sale! You know since I have actually been researching this for 2 years now and was ready to buy the trailer this weekend. We had a very good experience purchasing our trailer from Trailers Plus Lodi. Curtis and the rest of the staff were very knowledgeable and Professional. Our appointment was at 11am and they were completely prepared for us when we arrived. Our only complaint, which isn't really a complaint, is that the trailer was very dirty when we arrived. We asked to have it hosed off before we left the lot. We were told it would be, but it didn't happen. We forgot to check before we jumped into the truck. But in the end, that's not a big deal. I had a positive experience with Trailers Plus in Lodi. I wrote a review of the Gilroy store as well, where I began shopping for a trailer and had great service; and ultimately bought from Lodi because they had the one I wanted in stock. In my experience, the corporate people communicated very well with the stores, and the stores cooperated with one another in finding what I needed. Different than the last reviewer, when I arrived at the lot they were already expecting me and I had what I wanted reserved, so maybe my experience was a bit different because of that. They were helping someone hook up a new trailer when I arrived, so I did have to wait a bit as well, but Kurt greeted me right away and was very friendly and communicative about how long it would take, so wasn't a big deal to peruse the inventory a bit while I waited. I did think it was a little odd that there's no customer parking space in their lot - just a little unexpected since it's normal to just drive right in - but there was plenty of parking along the street just outside the gate, so once I figured that out, it was fine. It's a little odd as well that the front door to the showroom/office area is from the street where you wouldn't really notice, and you can't access it from inside the lot where all the trailers are (other than through an employees-only door). I think they can benefit from some better signage and customer area configuration. But hey, this is a trailer dealer, not the Ritz Carlton, so I'm willing to cut them some slack. What's most important to me is inventory (which they had a ton of) and service (which my experience was positive). read more

My trailer is just about 2 years old, might be 3. The only time we have used it is for our annual trip to CO for a week in the mountains. The rest of the time it is garaged. Last week, Thursday June 10th, we left for CO. In Reno, NV we stopped for gas and I found out my bearings in one hub were completely gone/destroyed and wheel was wobbling. Trailersplus is appt only and when I called they said they were booked for the next few days but would have a guy call me. No suggestions or directions on how I could get it to them or what service they could offer. They wree too busy to talk to me. Again, on vacation with the family and only 3 hours into a 19 hour drive to my brother's house in CO. In the meantime I took it to a Les Schwab that was closer to me by 12 miles and actually talked to me. I could not have safely gone much further and was lucky to make it that far. They were kind enough to fit me in considering our travel situation. I dropped the trailer and drove to Trailersplus where I purchased the hub assembly, charged me $80 and didn't even offer to assist with any warranty issue there might have been. Les Schwab was amazing and installed the hub, checked and repacked the other hub and charged me only $60!!! They are amazing. Fast forward now to Saturday night, June 19th. We pull in to my brother's place after our family camping trip to the CO mountains. Now my other hub is blown, grease all over the tires and no telling what the hub is like. Les Schwab is closed and so is Trailersplus. No info at all on their website about what axle I have nor any way to look it up. I am dead in the water and they are closed Sun and Mon of course. We had to be back in CA Tues night and to work on Wed. I ended up having to pull the old axle, take it to a Tractor Supply store near my brother and buy a replacement axle and hubs. $230 and a long drive later, I'm home and had zero issues with the replacement. I called my location today to set up a time to come in and see what can be done to reimburse me, etc as the hubs were still under warranty. I was told that because I had it all done first, without taking all the problem parts to the store, that they can't honor the warranty or reimburse us!!! For that to have happened, I would have had to take the hub off in Reno, take it to the store, have them do the investigation to see if it was warranty. That would have taken a few days I was told. So Reno, NV for a few days while I wait for them to pay for an 80.00 part!!!! Asinine to say the least. The same would have had to happen on that Saturday when the other hub blew up. I would have had to stay in CO until Tuesday and then wait the few days for them to figure it out or tell me it wasn't covered......and THEN get it repaired. Not to mention they couldn't come to me or have it towed, etc. That's all on us, even if the hubs were faulty. Never had a warranty like that, where it all has to be verified and you leave a family stranded on vacation rather than look at it afterwords. I have the axle, the second blown hub, and pictures and receipts of it all. Didn't matter. Worst customer service and warranty plan ever. Even the plans they push on used cars are better than this!! Lesson learned, first and only purchase from them I'll ever make. Dexter axles and hubs, made in USA, blah, blah, but still last as long as the crap made in China. Even if they are maintained they are only good for a couple or 3 years it appears. Not fun to find out in the middle of the hot summer on vacation. If I knew that I would just expect to replace them so they are done BEFORE finding out the hard way. We fell for the schpeel though. Live and learn. read more

Customer service is the worst. I needed them to check the brakes on a trailer I bought from them. I was pretty sure I had worn out the magnets on the brakes. I called and made an appointment to have the brakes checked because I was planning a trip half way across the country. A few days before the appointment, I stopped by to double check that they could take care of my problem. They assured me that they had the parts and experience to take care of my issues. I left feeling confident. They also said that they would give the trailer a free one year inspection. About two hours later, the manager called me to confirm my appointment. I was confused. I had just left there. He told me that if the magnets were bad, they would have to replace the backing plates, and they didn't have the size I needed. My appointment was severe days away, I wasn't sure why they couldn't get the parts. I could have left the trailer for a week, if they needed me to. Needless to say I went from feeling like my problems were taken care of, to knowing that they weren't. Since the other reputable trailer repair places were too busy, I picked up backing plates from Allied Trailer in Sacramento, where they had stacks of them, and installed them myself. I still brought my trailer to the appointment for my free inspection, since I had a marker light out and one of the jacks in the back had fallen off while driving and broke off. Upon arriving I was greeted by a uniformed service guy. I informed him that I had replaced the backing plates myself, since the manager told me that they couldn't do it. Then some guy who was not in uniform, came out to give the trailer a look. I mentioned the jack, and he said that "there's no telling how that happened." and wandered off. Then the service guy tried to sell me some load control. I told him that I had customized the trailer with an e-Track system THAT I HAD BOUGHT FROM THEM! They replaced the marker light and did their "Inspection". They told me that the brakes were like new. I reminded them that I had replaced them the previous day because they told me that they didn't want to do it. They also never gave me an estimate for the broken jack. It mystifies me why they would turn down a two axle break job, but wanted to sell me load control. Made no sense. The worst part was that they were fully aware that I was taking the trailer on a long trip, and they had no interest in making sure that the trailer would be safe. Totally let me down. Never buy a trailer here, and don't even think of having it serviced here (unless you want to hear a sales pitch about stuff you don't need.) read more
