I discovered this dog park when I live nearby and I still continue to come here even though it's a bit of a drive. I absolutely love how clean the bathrooms are and how there is always a park staff present. I also love the wash areas where you can come and bathe your dogs. The spaces for the dogs to run are big and for the most part, clean. Other dog owners do have to do a better job at picking up after their dog as that should not be the staff's responsibility. I absolutely enjoy this park and will continue to come here. read more

We love this park! Specifically how big it is! The parking is. a breeze since theres so much of it, and there's a section for small dogs and one for big dogs. The only complaint we have is mostly of the people themselves. The people in this area are.... special. And while at the park for one hour, i witnessed four separate people who left, not one, but BOTH safety gates open. Thankfully my boyfriend and I were close by everytime and we shut the door before any precious pup can run out but that is the biggest mistake anyone can make at a dog park. if you come here just keep in mind, the gate doors are NOT SELF CLOSING. they will not close behind you so please make sure you lock it on your way in/out. read more

Came back to see if I had better luck with my puppy. Made a mistake going on the weekend because it was too crowded and all the dogs were after my puppy. So I again left with a scared puppy. Tried again on a weekday it doesn't work for me if people ignore the rules. Al lot of those dogs in the small dog park area pass the 15" limit permitted. And some don't have control over their own. A couple of clean walking trails around the park area and surrounding residential neighborhoods gave me an alternative, of course on a leash. read more

Trails & Tails is my favorite dog park ever since I moved to Doral. It's beautiful, spacious, and well-kept. Dog owners pick up after their pets and the staff on hand maintains the park really well. There is a section for small dogs and a section for larger dogs. Both have dog water fountains and plenty of room to roam. Pebble paths circle the inner perimeters and have benches on the sides. Near the center of Trails & Tails is a small building with bathrooms, water fountains, and vending machines. Next to it is a small playground for kids. Further down there's a line of workout machines with no weights. They're designed to lift your body weight when working out. There is a nice running path that circles the whole park. It's nice for running day and/or night. When the dog park is closed, you can still run and work out here. You'll find people here at night. The dog park closes at sunset and there is a sign at the front indicating what time they close for the day which can change depending on the time of year. Overall, Trails & Tails is nice to visit whether you have a dog or not. It's very relaxing here. Highly recommend! read more

I have never been more impressed with a dog park. I bring my puppy lucky basically everyday. It's a beautiful space which has a park for big and small dogs. Best to bring your pups around 4-8pm. I've been to almost all the dog parks in Dade and Broward and this is my absolute favorite. It has two fenced off areas, one for small dogs and one for big dogs. The grass is always green, the rocky areas are nicely manicured, the bag stations are always full. There's a walking track around the two dog areas, a kids playground, bathrooms and a free dog wash area behind them. Never any garbage on the ground and always park personnel present if you need help. There are single table huts for picnics, and they just put in more body weight exercise equipment. If you follow the trail west it goes from the dog park to the canal then north and south for a couple miles in each direction. Avoid the park on pesticide days if you can. First off again I couldn't give 5 stars because my pug can't make it in the Florida heat to the entrance of the park. They did not discriminate against large and small dogs both parks are huge. There's walking trails with doggy bags. Workout stations for the humans. Picnic tables, there's also vending machines. They have a dog washing area. The parking lot is huge. Of the dog parks I've taken my fur child to, this is one of the better ones! About a 20 minute drive from Wynwood, it is a perfect space for your four legged child to run around and socialize with other pet parents. I made the drive out to Trails & Tails when a dog parent group I'm in organized a get-together here. The park is located close to the turnpike and 836, so getting there's breeze. There's also plenty of parking, the fields are well landscaped, and 2 or 3 stands with doggie cleaning supplies. One of the best features of this park is that they have separate fenced in areas for big and small dogs. It keeps the little ones' Napoleon complex safe :) There's a sizeable grass field for the dogs to run , as well as a pebble pedestrian path. Some benches let us puppy parents relax and socialize, and they have dog level water fountains. It'd be nice to maybe see some agility or other dog play equipment, but T&T is a great spot to spend time with your pup and friends! read more

Awesome dog park with plenty of space and amenities. This is probably the nicest dog park I have been to in south Florida so far. There are plenty of dog and human water fountains to keep cool in the summer heat. I wish there were a little more shading but the park is pretty new with young trees. There are also vending machines and restrooms for people in the park. read more

Finally made it to Trails & Tails! Dogs can be off leash now. Plenty of parking, well kept, expansive, and both dogs and owners reasonably behaved. The humans were all wearing masks and there was ample signage indicating that masks were required. The drinking fountains were all taped off to not be used. Through no fault of the park itself, my rescue dog didn't quite understand what he was supposed to do there... so instead of running or playing or frolicking with other dogs, he spent the whole 10 minutes sniffing, standing like a statue, and then walking up to human strangers asking to be pet. And then made a beeline for the exit, signaling that he was done. I think we will try again, maybe at a time of year when it isn't so hot. read more

Trails & Tails dog park is great! We take our dog here every time we go to south Florida to visit my parents, and I wish there was a dog park like this around my area. There are two separate parks, one for small dogs and one for big dogs. Within each park, there's a trail that goes around the park if you and your dog want to walk around in laps. The parks have ample grassy areas and in the center there's a gravely area with bushes. The parks have two dog water fountains each, one at the entrance and one at the back of the park. Each park also has doggy clean up stations and benches situated around the trail and most benches are shaded by trees. Despite some owners not cleaning up after their dog, these parks are clean and have park staff around during the day to make sure they stay clean. Park hours vary depending on the time of year, but they typically are open from 7 AM until sunset. The park in a convenient location and is within walk distance of many housing subdivisions and apartments in Doral. If you drive, there's a private lot behind the small dog park with plenty of parking spaces. Right outside the park, there are four dog washing stalls to give your dogs a quick bath after they've played. There's also a paved trail surrounding the parks, public restrooms, and a playground for your kids. read more

The workers here are also friendly, and the amenities are kept clean for your enjoyment. Super clean dog park to enjoy a nice weekend afternoon with the pups. They have two very large sections - one for small dogs, one for larger dogs. Interesting they also have a playground for the children to play, away from the dogs. The dog part is very spacious. No obstacle courses here. Just land for them to roam. There is a walkway of pebbles that we walked around a few times as the pup roamed free, played with other dogs and smelled her surroundings. Some nice benches in the shade were nice to sit under. Other than that there isn't much else. There is a large area in the middle with trees and rocks, but I wonder what good that is in a bark park? The dogs weren't even going in that area and if it wasn't there it would be alot more open space for them to run...or could be replaced by some obstacles (even though my dog refuses to ever do any). All in all it was a nice, quiet and super clean. The people of Doral seem to know how to pick up after their dogs which is always great! read more

It has multiple benches, clean grounds with plenty of pop disposal units easily available. It also has a small padded child play area for the tiny tots to play in, this ones for the kids not the dogs. I actually used the park as a drop area to hit the bike trail which is also really nice and well kept. read more

I really really love this park! But something terrible happened yesterday and I think is something you should really work on! In the last weeks Some people without dogs have been entering the park. What I do not like is that they carry toys for pets and start throwing their balls away from the owners. Yesterday a lady entered the park with her daughter from one moment to the next, the girl took one of my puppies and was taking it when I told her to let go, She told me my mom told me I could take any puppy. Please where are the people in charge of letting you enter the park? This park is AWESOME! My hubby is in training in Miami so we looked online for a clean dog park to visit while here. We had a list, but never checked out another park. Trails & Tails is beautiful, clean and well maintained. We have a Golden and he gets hot quickly, so we stopped by the dog wash area first, getting him wet so he'd stay cooler while playing. Then we let him run and play in the large dog area. There is a walking area for humans inside so you can get in your steps while your dog plays around you. Or sit on a bench under trees full of parrots. There are plenty of dog clean up bag stations, and water fountains for your dog to drink. And when your pet is done, clean him up with fresh water hoses at the pet bath area. Clean and happy dog. Clean car. Thank you to the maintenance crews. read more

Great park until you get kicked out for no reason... I got kicked out because my dog jumped slightly on a teacup breed to engage in play. (my dog is 25 lbs) ... The owner freaked out and accused my dog of being aggressive and was checking her dog for bite marks! Lol... absolutely absurd! Immediately after I got cornered by 3 other "parents" ... I hear this voice echo from the showering stations: "If you can't control your dog you need to leave" in Spanish. When she enters the park she started instigating and recommended the "victim" to check her dog for bites and once again told me my dog was aggressive and too big and that I needed to leave. Again my dog is 25 lbs and 10 months old and fully grown within the weight restrictions of the park. If your dog is very playful avoid this park as it is filled with teacup and toy breeds and ignorant owners, but especially rude and undereducated staff. Pretty sad as we have been coming to this park every week for over 5 months without any issues. If your dog is too eager to play with others you might get cornered and kicked out and your dog labeled aggressive! read more

I've always loved this park. I usually come here to relax, bring my dog, and see the other dogs. Lately I've noticed one of the workers, whose name is Ruben, who is always really kind and attentive towards everyone in the park. He's also very diligent, and doesn't let anyone break the rules or disrespect the other people/dogs in there. Also, the dogs love him and he's always really nice and kind to me. They have two separate areas one for large dogs and one for small to medium dogs. They have always have a staff that's cleaning and making sure everything is running perfect. Took our pup to this dog park yesterday and it was such a fun time. The park is very clean and well kept. There were so many dogs and different breeds, I think it was almost more fun for the humans to play with them than our four-legged counterparts. The park is separated into two large fenced areas - one for small/medium breeds, and one for larger breeds. There are a few benches located around the perimeter of the fenced areas for seating in the shade while the pups run around and exhaust themselves. Some people even brought blankets and found a spot on the grass to hang out. I will definitely be bringing my pup back on a weekly basis! read more

This park is great. We try to come here every Sunday prior to sundown. It's a huge park, which is kept perfectly groomed. The dogs actually have A LOT of room to play and their water stations are always very clean.. This park is vitiated in a great area of Doral, the people that come here show how much they love their companion and it shows on how well kept this animals are.the dogs that come here are well behaved, groomed and healthy and by the way they look it seems that if the most part they receive very good veterinary care. read more
