Visiting from Henderson, NV, I got my workout in at their Costa Mesa location on 6/23/25 at 9:30am and 6/24/25 at 10:30am. I flew here and did not have a rental car during this trip, so I took a rideshare here on both days. I wasn't comfortable taking one alone, so my dad tagged along with me both times, where he hung out at a coffee shop around the corner and took a little walk around the surrounding office space while I got my workout in. Burn's Costa Mesa location is a unique one to me. It's in a huge warehouse space with a pull up door surrounded by other businesses in this complex, plus they have a separate outdoor entrance for their child watch room. This was the first Burn location I've visited outside my home location. I only have a single gym membership, which required me to pay to workout outside my home location ($15/camp). My waiver was accepted but I had some trouble booking and paying through the app, so I ended up calling them first thing Monday morning, where they were very helpful and booked me on their end. Lauren and Casey were my trainers on 6/23 and 6/24, respectively. I stayed in Anaheim and it was totally worth coming down to Costa Mesa just to get my usual 45 minute workout in. I felt welcome here on both days and was given honors by my trainers for being a visitor. They make you feel right at home when you're away from your home gym!

What I found was an incredibly inviting, supportive, and encouraging environment. So much positivity to go around, and they meet you where you are, while challenging you to go just a little bit further. Within these past few months I have seen more transformation in my body and increase in energy levels than I have since I can remember. Complete game changer. I have committed to 12 months and can't wait to see the progress I have made by next year!

I joined THE CAMP TRANSFORMATION CENTER for health reasons and I just want to say that I am no where near being sorry or regretting my decision of joining. I was very skeptical because they advertise it as home of the FREE 6 week 20 pound challenge and we all know better than believing that anything is free. I went in with my husband and after asking all these questions and still being very confused and not so sure of myself, we signed up. Fast forward 6 weeks and lots of crying, cravings, pain, and mental breakdowns I lost 21.9 lbs and DID not get my money back as of yet because we need to get to our goal weight which or me might take 2 more challenges other than this one that I just completed. I will be getting a credit of what i paid and will use it for a membership once I meet my goal. I feel AMAZING. I have yet to see my doctor and get my lab work but I know my numbers are going to be so much better. I wake up earlier to make it to my work outs, I eat clean and feel so much lighter, I drink more water which is helping me in so many different ways, and I just feel happier with myself over all. I have a long way to go and to be honest sometimes I don't have the motivation I should but I will keep going and it is a lifestyle change. It does not stop at the 6 weeks. If you're not ready to be uncomfortable with all this change then you're not ready for TCTC but if you are ready then please stop by and join. The first work out is free, stop by and try and you will be sore the next day but guess what, that means it's working. This is more than just a gym, it becomes a family if you invest your time and energy into it. They make events on holidays and have kids camp and many of the members bring a personal touch to the camp. It's a small community and it's great to feel that because you have accountability and motivation.

After my…read moreprevious gym closed I did a free trial at various gyms all over OC and AIM came out the winner. Trust me, I'm picky so that right there says something. I've now been at AIM for just over two months and they are just as amazing as I hoped. The owners, Jake and Marla, are kind, caring, professional and knowledgeable. The programming is excellent with workouts divided into lower, upper, conditioning, push and pull days. I've already improved so much in just a few months and everyone is encouraging and kind. There is definitely a sense of community and their PR parties have everyone cheering you on. The other coaches there Aaron and Sam are incredible as well so you can't go wrong at any time slot. They obviously do private training, but I've been happy with the classes. They keep them small so you get plenty of help and you can get everything done in about an hour. There are lots of times and I've always been able to take the class that works best for me. The gym is clean and they have all the equipment you need. Plus with an unlimited membership you get open gym which is an extra benefit. I often get there early to use the treadmill for example or you can do the workout independently. You probably won't want to because everyone in the classes are so kind and supportive though! The positive environment is important to me because I'm relatively new to strength training (started at age 47 a year ago) and I'm still learning everything. They do a free trial so you have nothing to lose and plenty to gain! If I could give them more than 5 stars I definitely would. Thank you AIM...you guys are the BEST!

I've tried those things in the past & failed to stick with it. The only workouts I've stuck with have been group ones. I found Hamma Time Fitness (HTF) in July of 2024. This place is exactly what I wanted. A small independent gym with group strength training classes. When you arrive, the workout of the day is written on the mirror. Brandi, the trainer, goes through the stations providing demos of each exercise & then we rotate through them. There's an app we use to log our workouts & track our progress. Brandi knows when to push us & when to let us do our thing. She checks in to provide adjustments, modifications, & encouragement without being overbearing. She emails us at the start of each month to let us know what's going on with boot camp classes, yoga and challenges etc. The amount & format of communication is just right. The music she plays is good too. I've stopped going to some gyms because I couldn't deal with the crappy music. Everyone who works out here is chill. If you like dogs you're in for a treat because occasionally you might show up to find there's a furry visitor. I was very apprehensive about whether I'd be able to handle these workouts without incurring an injury (got hurt bad at Orange Theory which caused me to be unable to workout for 6 months) It's almost laughable how cautious I was in the beginning using the lightest weights to not get hurt. No one made me feel any way about it. As my comfort level & confidence grew I increased the weights & reps. It's been 5 months now & I haven't injured myself. I'm blown away by what I've been doing in these classes. I didn't know I had it in me. Finding HTF hasn't just been good for my body, it's been great for my mind too. After years of trying various workouts, getting injured & feeling like there's something wrong with my body, working out with Brandi has made me believe that my body can do hard things! LOVE THIS PLACE!
