The bacon wrapping was yummy and there was lots of filling. For entree we got the ahi tuna bowl, mahi tacos and the brisket sandwich. My bowl was lovely- I really enjoyed the tuna and the spicy sauce was delightful. The brisket sandwich was very tough and the pieces too thickly cut. He had a hard time eating it. read more

Recommended by a pretty cool guy we met at a remote hot springs. Told us we NEED to visit here. Our waitress noticed that I finished my fries before touching my burger, which needless to say even the fries are AMAZING. Stopped at Train Wreck to get some food to go, although I'd like to go back for the decor itself. It's also only a few feet away from the train tracks so the building will shake. They have their own glasses with railroad crossing signs - ordered an old fashioned while waiting. For a train buff this is a great place to try. I absolutely love this place. When hubby and I are without our kids, this is where I want to go eat. Still haven't tried their famous maple bacon Bloody Mary yet, but its on my list to must try. Food is pricey with entrees priced $17+ and apps priced $12+, but the portions are good sizes to even split if you want. The dining area is cozy and fun, but when I am out without my kids, I will opt to sit at the bar every time. It's just nice to people watch and even talk to strangers sitting near you at the bar. Plus, you can easdrop on conversations between the customers and the bartenders. It is a 21+ bar/restaurant, so leave the kids at home. Street parking is easy to find. read more

Every single time I come here, the service is terrible. The staff not only dress unprofessionally, but they ignore customers by talking at the bar for long periods of time. I've had 3 different servers each time I've come, and all 3 of them were so disappointing. This place has good food, but dang is it ruined by their staff. Second visit here. I don't recall what I had the first time - maybe a burger - but it was good. Tried the Rueben this time and it was up there with the best I've ever had. Just one comment on the Rueben. It was served with a side of horseradish sauce which I liked but didn't think it really went with the sandwich (and I am a big fan of horseradish). Food was amazing with lots of flavor. I had the brisket tacos. Definitely worth it. Plan on leftovers. My tacos paired well with a Tito's Bloody Mary. They have the big drink with all the goodies on it but I wanted to try something different. I heard that it is also amazing and that you can easily share one with a friend. (It was 30.) Prices were a bit higher but for the quality and taste, it was worth it to me. Prices are up everywhere so don't let that detour you. The place gets busy so plan on a bit of a wait if it's during normal busy hours. Service was good which seems hard to come by these days. The decor was cool with all the railroad paraphernalia. It was open layout and the ambiance was comforting and not too bright. Bar rail and some of the booths were made with slabs of wood and looked amazing! All in all, it was a great experience and not so loud that you couldn't carry on with a conversation. Don't forget to leave the kids at home, it's a bar. Much, much nicer than a dive bar but just as approachable. The prices are very reasonable - competitive with most dive bars - but the atmosphere, value and great food mags this place much better. Any place with 3-4 different breakfast hash options is great in my book. Although I went with the biscuits and gravy which were amazing. The biscuits are extremely good and very likely made fresh here. They also have a double Bloody Mary that includes a whole bunch of food on top and it was impressive to see how well the kitchen and bartenders worked together to create this impressive drink for many customers on the Saturday morning when I first visited. We stopped in this time on a Sunday around 10:30 and still waited about 20 minutes. Our service was great and the food came out quickly after ordering. My husband did the chicken and waffles (which I also tried) and that was the fan favorite for sure. So tasty! I got the pork verde burrito which was good but felt more like lunch than breakfast. It could have used more eggs and meat. Still pretty good and had half to take home as it's massive. We also got the bacon bourbon cinnamon roll to go and that was delicious heated up. We had been wanting to experience the Train Wreck for a while, based on our daughter's raves about it. We decided to try breakfast and it did not disappoint. We grabbed two seats at the bar and started off with delicious coffee, juice, and a yummy cinnamon roll topped with bacon. Clare, our bartender and server, was super, very warm, friendly, and efficient. She is a gem! I ordered a Manmosa, a mimosa including orange vodka as well as champagne. So good! We still had room (barely) for our main breakfast items of a smoked salmon scramble and stuffed french toast. Both were wonderfully tasty. The ambiance here is also pretty incredible with brick walls and the occasional train passing right by. We will definitely be back soon! read more
