Went to buy some áo dài for Tết. The ready-made ones--she said one cost nearly $1,000. If you have any communication with the designer, be clear and remind her to issue a receipt. At the end of the year, she gets overwhelmed with work and tends to forget. When reminded, she gets annoyed, rolls her eyes, and seems irritated. When I called to pick up the áo dài, she said she was closing the store. When I arrived, she didn't even greet me. The áo dài still had loose threads everywhere, the stitching was sloppy, and the pants had rips that needed fixing--super frustrating. If you're spending over $1,000 on clothing and expect the designer to respect you and not make you feel like you're paying a high price just to be treated poorly, this store isn't for you. Her designs aren't exceptional, the stitching is careless, and loose threads are all over. The person who embellishes the áo dài with decorative details is what makes it beautiful, not the designer with a difficult attitude who looks down on customers. read more

I was referred to this place and was very pleased with the selection of "off the rack" dresses. This black one is my all time favorite! If you get off the rack, they will size it for you and it's very affordable. We also got custom for our girls since they don't keep children sizes in stock. Those are twice the price but also depends on material. The custom ones they got are silk. The quality is excellent and worth it. I like they use zippers. The snap buttons on the cheaper ones usually pop open or break. I highly recommend this place for a traditional dress but also for custom gowns in general. Cô Trang's designs are really beautiful! I had my first ever custom-made áo dài made by her for Tết year of the cat. I've always wanted a customized áo dài and cô Trang really was able to give me what I wanted. I placed the order for this áo dài back in November for it to be ready by tết in January. Cô Trang has a good attention to detail. The only bump we had was when I was in contact with her in the week leading up to tết and there was some miscommunication with my áo dài. In the end, everything worked out, but I have to admit that that was a bit stressful. It could have been a language barrier issue because my Vietnamese is not super fluent. Looking for an ao dai for my wedding and was treated very rudely. First dress we tried on she told us not to pick dresses we could not afford. Wow.... we immediately gave her all the dresses we picked out and left. Don't come here. In response to the owner. Once we got there, we already did not feel welcomed. She could have a really good business, but the way she treated us no wonder her shop is empty. Inquiring, not demanding if the dress can be lowered is not insulting. Asking us to stop trying on dresses is nonetheless disrespectful and unkind. Asking us to only try on dresses we can afford is insulting. And telling us we don't know what expensive clothes looks like is rude. We would never recommend this place to family or friends. Her dresses were 500$ this was incredibly surprising as we have went to 3-4 shops before hers and at most dresses were $300. Not worth your time to go to be treated this way. read more
