Food is good but if you have to deal with the lady running the cash register "Kim" then you might want to go somewhere else. She is rude and completely disconnected from customers. Went in to try their Chicken Pho. Waited 5 minutes for a table to be cleaned. Several were dirty. When I was finally able to sit down the table had not been wiped off so I sat there for a while longer until it was cleaned. Once I sat down it took them 5 minutes to bring me a menu and 10 minutes after that to take my order. Once my order was finally taken my food did come quickly. The egg rolls were good. The Pho came out hot. I was not a fan of the broth or the chicken in the soup. Most Pho has flat pieces of chicken and this chicken was small and shredded and did not taste good. My server never came to check on me and never gave me a refill. I will not be back to this establishment. read more

Came here for lunch the other day. The decor was nice, it reminds me of some of the pho places in Houston I eat at. Wasn't totally impressed with the service, the servers seemed somewhat indifferent to the customers. Had the porkchops and rice and the chops were seasoned well. For a Vietnamese place the prices were a little high and the portions a little small. My buddy had the pho ga and it wasn't nearly the size of what you get in other places yet cost more than those same places. If you're in the area it's not a bad place to try but I wouldn't drive out to BFE from Tulsa to give it a shot. read more

I've been going to Ri Le for 20 years and don't know much about Vietnamese food outside of this restaurant. Trang Le taste amazingly similar. I don't know if they are connected but if not you couldn't convict me otherwise. I can't sing the praises enough. In fact I thought I had reviewed this place months ago. Don't have breakfast and make sure you're hungry because a typical order for two goes something like this, Some type of Chicken, Sesame, or ginger pending on my mood. Anything in this category is good. Then the Hoisen Beef and some of the sweet and sour chicken (sauce on the side). The Sweet and Sour chicken has a breading on the outside that is thicken and crispier than most of the other places in BA and I totally dig this stuff. It reminds me of a Thai kind of sauce and breading. Now for the piece de resistance, the crème de la crème, THE LUMPIA DOGS. They come two to an order so get 3 or 4 orders. I know this means an extra 10 bucks or so to your already mounting order but it is worth it. It comes with a dipping sauce but I like to get some of the fish sauce and dip them in that delicious concoction. For anyone wanting to get something different and venture a bit off the beaten path EAT HERE! You'll thank me. read more

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Broken Arrow. The food is always hot and delicious and served with a smile. This is a real family owned restaurant and you can feel the love. The BEST Bún bò Hu (spicy beef noodle soup) ever! Love their unique flavor, the broth of each kind of soup is homemade, so you won't be thirsty after drinking them. My other favorite is Hu Tieu (clear glass noodle soup), it's so comforting. Thai tea is very good, too! Family owned business. They're very clean and spacious! I made sure I eat there before I move to Denver, CO. I still haven't find anything close to this in Denver, I will eat there every time I go back to Tulsa. My husband and I love trying new Vietnamese places in cities we travel to. I must say, the food here was among the best we've had. I would give 5 stars if it weren't for the service but I'll get to that later. We got spring rolls and banh bot loc to start. The spring rolls were great! Most restaurants are very heavy on the lettuce while these were a good balance of all ingredients. The sauce that accompanied them was good, but was a little peanut heavy. I have never seen banh bot loc on a menu before so it was my first time trying it and they were excellent! They had a mild salty and sweet flavor and the texture of the wrap and stuffing was very complimentary. For our main course I ordered the bun bo hue and my husband got the combination pho. Side note: my husband is Vietnamese so when I order bun bo hue and actually pronounce it correctly most servers realize this isn't my first rodeo. When we got our bowls I quickly realized that mine had no blood cake or tendons in it, which are my favorite pieces in the dish and one of the reasons I order it. After my first bite I also realized that it had close to no heat in the dish even after other reviewers have mentioned it being very spicy. The next time our waitress came around I mentioned that there were no tendons or blood cake. She responded by saying she thought I didn't want blood cake, which did not happen. Just because I am white don't assume I don't want my dish authentic or different than is written on the menu. She offered to bring me a dish of blood cake, and I asked if I could get some tendons as well. She assured me that there absolutely was tendon in my soup and that she would not bring me any. After finishing my soup, it was confirmed that there was not any tendon pieces in it and I was extremely disappointed and frustrated. Also, my husband asked for a side of fish sauce for his pho. It never came and we were never checked on again for the remainder of our meal so we could remind her. Long story short, if you're white, don't expect authentic food, even if you are with someone who is Vietnamese. At least the food was good. read more

This restaurant was recommended by a Vietnamese friend as the best Vietnamese in the Tulsa area. Practically an empty restaurant, around 6 o'clock Saturday night. A man brought me a menu and water after sitting at the table for a few minutes. Two workers were chatting behind counter. About five minutes later and still no contact with me, I stood and informed them I would eat somewhere else. Despite the blazing Oklahoma heat, I was craving pho. Pho bo vien, steaming hot with fresh garnishes and a generous squeeze of lime, please and thank you! The pho broth is delicious and while the medium size caught me off guard (it looked a little small), it is definitely filling. Also, BOMB BANH XEO. Hands down, some of the best I have eaten. This is our first visit to Trang Le. Thursday nights is our dinner out, but for health reasons, I've been eating vegetarian. It's hard to find good places around Tulsa. We came here based on the reviews and we LOVE IT! I absolutely can't stand making changes to meals and I never want to feel like I'm putting out restaurant staff. So hesitantly, I told our server about my food preferences and she made some excellent suggestions. She was more than accommodating. The entire staff is incredibly pleasant. Out of all the other Pho places I have been I would have to say I LOVE this one. The atmosphere, food, menu and service are just a start to why i love this place. Going to eat here I felt that it was very open and not so compact compared to the other places I have been to. It is very clean as well and there is more seating here if you wanted to bring more people. The service here is great as well, i have same here for lunch before and I was in and out within an hour. So convenient to go to when you are wanting to grab something to eat at work. When you go here it is also pretty quiet so you can have a conversation without feeling like you have to yell over others. The food here is amazing!! I mean Pho is great in general, but what i loved was that they had more variety of foods if you did not want noodle soup or went with someone who wanted something different. The sizes of bowls here are as well generous, they really give you great meats and enough of it so you do not feel like you do not have enough compared to the noodles in it. I overall enjoy this place and could not believe i did not find it sooner. It is kind of hidden but it a nice strip mall. When i was last there what impressed me was that I ordered the spring rolls, and instead of just bringing me what i ordered they were honest with me and said it was not as good as they would like it and that they were not going to serve it to me. That alone makes me want to go back because i know they are not going to serve me something they do not think is good enough! Definitely a good place to get Pho! I expected more of the pho due to the reviews on here, I've had pho at different places and so the standards pretty high up there , the pho wasn't that great, I expected more cilantro and mint ( like they give at viet huong) and the noodles were thicker n tasted more raw . Came in for lunch on a Sunday. Did not have to wait for a party of 15 and they accommodated us by putting tables together. Food was very tasty and authentic. We had spicy beef soup, pho, egg rolls, and combination vermicelli bowl. Their fish sauce for dipping or "nuoc mam" that comes with the egg rolls was close to home made. The spicy beef noodle soup or "bun bo hue" had a variety of meat and there was good amount. The flavor was amazing. Will definitely come back when we are in town. I have read some reviewers complaining about the food not being authentic. While I respect their opinion, I do not believe it is 100% accurate. There are always variations of the same dishes we grew up eating because of the different regions. Since my friend introduced me to Trang Le Vietnamese Restaurant few years ago, I have become a regular there. I have not ordered everything in the menu yet, but what I have tasted so far has been pretty darn good. The place is extremely clean and the service is very good. Bring someone, grab a bite there.
