I found Trangs nails a year or so, was getting gel manicure for a long time and was very satisfied. There was a miscommunication on payment but they corrected it. Recently I been getting acrylic tips and only Trang does it and I get so many compliments every time. Trang is a perfectionist and pay attention to detail. The prices are very competitive and if you pay cash you get $1 off for every $25 spent. They are great group of ladies...appointments are necessary bc they are always busy. read more

Wish I could give negative stars. This is my first time here. I called at 430 and asked if I could come in at 6 for a full set and was told yes. She didn't take my name or anything, just hung up. I get there at 6pm and they act like I didn't call in and had no idea I was coming. I was barely even greeted. I wait 30 minutes to finally sit in a chair. I show her what nails I want and SHE LAUGHS IN MY FACE. She proceeds to show the picture to her coworkers and then comes back over to me and tells me she can't do it. So much for exceptional business. I will never step foot in here again. I've never been so embarrassed in my life than being laughed at for the nails I wanted. I've never experienced such rudeness at a nail salon. I brought in my 12 yr old daughter for a fill. We were looking at a book to choose a color. When the tech told me it was $30 we decided to go with regular nail polish instead. Right then she yanked the book out of my daughters hands and told us to look somewhere else to choose the polish. After that, was rough during filing, and had the worst attitude. Not coming here again. This lady needs to work on having a better attitude towards customers. read more

HANDS DOWN BEST NAIL SHOP IN UTAH!! I've never ever been disappointed in my nails that trang has done. Not only is it a super clean salon with super clean work, she doesn't charge nearly what other salons charge. I got a full set of acrylic nails ($25) with gel polish (+$5) Fills are $16 w/shellac it's $21. I have never been to a shop that takes there time, does clean work and is also has prices they do. I've been going to trang for years now and have neglected to give them an amazing review. The first time I went they squeezed me in past hours when they didn't need to and I told them it was fine they did my mails and made them look amazing. I went back months later and trang remembered exactly who I was and what color and I got and asked me how my mom was doing. The customer service there is amazing and I get complimented literally at least 10 times a day on my nails. I moved away for college and would drive an hour and a half to get my nails done there for so many reasons. I have been going here for years and today I went for a simple pedicure and the lady doing my nails was older and I just had a gut feeling she didn't know what she was doing or doing it well. She was very sweet though. When she was cutting my cuticles it hurt! It has never hurt and she was putting and it hurt. I should have known right then and there to stop the process... but I didn't then she adds the base coat and doesn't cover the whole nail she was adding it like there wasn't any. She starts putting the color on and it's the wrong color so I was like no that's not right and they get the right color and as she is about to put the top coat on I look at it and it's lumpy uneven and the color is not what it looked like on the sample. I said I am so sorry but I do not like the color can I just do white. And a random lady working there comes and is trying to explain to me they can't do white because they "finished" top coat was not on.. she said you can chose another pink but no white I will charge you $10 extra. I do nails it takes 1 min max to fill it off... I went to give myself self care.. I wanted to add a flower and they said "no time". The lady that came to fix it was trying to fix more of the shaping that the other lady didn't do and more of the cuticles she didn't fix. It was a nightmare. I came in wanting to feel good about myself and left upset and sad.. I think I'm done with this place. read more

Don't do much by way of massage/extras for pedicures, nor do they offer any type of menu for different level treatments. It's just a regular polish or gel option. I like to have the option of scents, paraffin wax, hot stones. They never ask if you want that or offer it. They do a quick, quality job. I stopped into Trang Le nails after reading other Yelp reviews and I'm glad I did. I walked in without an apt and she told me it'd be a few minutes. I looked over colors while I waited and was then called over within a few minutes. She did a fill and gel application and was thorough but quick! I was amazed. the shop was getting busy, I felt bad not having an appointment as I believe everyone else had (keeping that in mind for next time). I am extremely happy I found this nail salon. A couple days ago, I decided to get acrylic nails put on. I went to a salon that I normally go to for pedicures. My nails were horrible! Thick, uneven and terribly shaped. The morning after, I spent time on the internet reading reviews on nail salons and came across Trang Le. After reading other reviews that appointments are best, I called right after they opened Sunday morning and spoke with Trang. She could get me in at 12:15. When I got there, I was few minutes early and took a seat. On the coffee table, was a basket of small photos albums, about 10. They were labeled with things like, Fourth of July nails, Christmas nails, summer nails, etc. It was pictures of all the different nail designs they could do. I thought that was great. Once Trang finished up with her client, she called me over. She was very attentive and listened to my complaints about my brand new set. I told her what I had originally wanted, showed her pictures. She gave me her honest, professional option. She took the horrible gel polish off and said she would shape one nail, and if I liked it, she would do the rest. She did such an amazing job. Even when I picked out a gel color, she said she had one that was not in their samples that was similar, but was better. She pulled out the one I liked and the one she was suggesting, put them both on for me to check out and decide. She was right, the one she suggested was perfect. She was very kind and friendly. I was pretty particular about how I wanted my nails to look. She wasn't annoyed with me and listened to what I said. I would absolutely recommend this nails salon to other people. Stopped in a week ago on a Saturday morning. I had an event that day and wanted my toes done, and the place I normally go to wasn't open yet. I didn't read anything about the place before going. When I walked in, I was asked if I had an appointment, and I didn't. They were going to have me wait until they knew if their next appointment bailed (which I was willing to do since it was my fault), but they were kind enough to squeeze me in right away anyway. I was expecting the pedicure to be kind of rushed just because they were doing me a favor, but they took their time and treated me like any other customer. I was very appreciative. I was introduced to this place a couple months ago and I will never go anywhere else! I got a full acrylic nail set for $35 dollars with Gel! They work quickly and do a wonderful and beautiful job!
