They are soooo accommodating to children! My daughter had an amazing time getting a manicure and a pedicure! I got to enjoy a deluxe pedicure which was incredible! I was actually really impressed for a mall salon. I had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. I had gotten two gift certificates for Christmas. I personally don't live in Springfield I live over an hour away. I had not been to the Eastfield mall for over 16 years. Now I want to go back just to go to this salon! read more

I would recommend doing your nails with Sky. He does them very good, takes his time to check ig they're the right shape and size. After he's done he makes sure you check them out for your approval. I can't believe these people keep trying to expand, their services sucks(customer service, the nail techs, quality of what your being over charged for) been to tranquility spa a few times and every time the service has been horrible, thing is they never admit to their mistakes either, there staff is always on their cell phones (even while doing your nails) and they rush, rush, rush no time in to making your nails or pedi nice a they care about is money! I'm surprised they are still around! Also as a previous reviewer has said, they also deleted my Facebook review off their page, be very very careful before spending your money here. This is the third pedicure I've had here and the first two were done by the same gentleman and they were fantastic, he took his time and even gave me quite the shoulder massage at the end while my nails dried. This third time was a younger woman who did a terrible job. I had the "deluxe pedicure" which comes with a massage and hot stones. The previous gentleman turned on a timer and massaged each of my feet for 20 minutes. The younger woman did the massage and the hot stones in about 5 minutes. The nail maintanence was also painful and the shoulder massage at the end last about two minutes and was ridiculously effortless. read more

Went here today, doesn't look too inviting on the outside but when you go in it's very relaxing. I went for a pedi only, they did a great job only complaint was there was a fly around my legs and the lady smacked and killed it against my leg.... other then that I had a good experience. read more

I only ever get pedicures and this last time I went I did enjoy it. It was painful at times but I guess beauty has a price. I only have one complaint, I brought my own polish and I felt the gentleman was cheap with it and it did not look thick and vibrant. I got the deluxe spa pedicure and I felt pampered and its worth the extra ten dollars. read more

Im writing this here because they deleted me and my friend from their Facebook. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I've been a very loyal customer to a different nail salon but my friend had been going to Tranquility for a few years now to get pedicures and basic manicure. We wanted a relaxing girls date and she had received a coupon for bogo full set with pedicure or manicure and pedicure. At the end it said couple. I wanted a fill and a pedicure.. she wanted a pedicure and manicure. They told us yes you guys get free pedicures you just pay for the fill. We started asking the man again during our pedicures what the price would be since we were still confused because of his very poor English. He was spitting out prices like 150 for both. 55 for her pedicure 60 for my fill. We were very stressed and my friends nail tech felt very uncomfortable. My guy was starting to yell to the other people in the salon because we were confused. Then he got up and left and came back and called his manager and has us talk to her on his cell phone which she told us our pedicures would be free. Or so we thought. All the meanwhile my pedicure was the most un satisfying pedicure I've ever received. I could have done a better job. I actually had to try to clean up my nails my self because he wanted me to move to the manicure chair before finishing. Never used a base coat or top coat on nails or toes btw. Started my fill and he told me that they charge 5$ for pointed nails. I told him they were already pointed he said he didn't matter. Okay? So I mentioned I had a cracked nail which meant he should take it off. He told me the crack was fine and he was going to leave it. He could see I was upset at this point. Still left my cracked nail. Which btw is still visibility noticeable. He left so many cuts on my fingers from the drill and not caring what he was doing. At the end one of the managers and his wife come in and tell us only my friend would be getting the free pedicure. And that my fill wasn't included. We were not happy and let them know it. The man who did my nails was laughing saying he never told us what he told us. My friend had a free pedicure coupon separately from coming so much that she told the manager she wanted me to have since this is why we came here in the first place. She looked at the coupon and said hm yeah I'll take it. The other manager on the side goes "your lucky she took that because I wouldn't of". Are you kidding me this is a coupon for your salon? How could you not take it? Anyways we ended up paying. My friend tipped her guy. Who was amazing and so sweet. I did not tip mine seeing as how he was rude, hurt me, painted my nails like a 2 year old, laughed at me, and rushed my whole service. The girl owner told us we were ungrateful and just wanted free stuff. Absolutely awful experience I wouldn't go back there if I had free service for a year. Envy salon on Boston rd is my nail salon and they are absolutely amazing. Never straying away again. read more

This place is terrible. I asked for a full set of gel nails. I told her that I did not want them thick. So apparently she made them really fun. Only used one coat of gel and the nail polish job was not good. She was very fast and it showed in her work. Long story short I paid $50 for a fill and maybe about three days later the gel already started to come up. About a week and a half later I went back to my original nail tech at TNT nail bar and she said I need a whole new full set because they were already coming apart. So I paid $55 for another full set and that was a good deal because she gave me a discount for what I have been through. Do not under any circumstance is go to this nail salon. A lot of people have left that worked there because the management is horrible. They don't do a good job. They don't know what they're doing and they do not take pride in what they do. It was a waste of time and money which I don't have a lot of either. read more

Awful!!! Horrible!!! Never again!!! I went here only because it was last minute and my regular nail salon ( Lucky Nails) had over an hour wait and I didn't have time. I should've known right away when the guy took out a power tool to take the gel polish off that it would end in disaster. I kept telling him I was uncomfortable with doing it that way and he assured me he knew what he was doing and wouldn't ruin my nails. I have very strong long nails that are now brittle and flaking because of him! He only removed maybe 10% of my cuticle and then he messed up clear polish?! How can someone mess up clear?! The polish was all over my fingers and hands... Don't waste your time when you can go down the street to Lucky nails and have an absolutely amazing manicure! read more

Every time I go here I have a horrible experience. I went 2 weeks ago for my moms birthday. We got pedicures and our nails done. My mom got just gel polish and I got acrylics. My moms thumb nail had a little chip in it and I knew there was a way to fix it, but instead they cut my mom's beautifully long natural nails and did acrylic. They even filled in underneath the nail so the acrylic was touching the skin under her nail. A few days later it started to really hurt her. My experience was even worse. I asked for coffin shaped nails and the lady told me she knew how to do it, even after I showed her a picture. She kept roughly pulling my hand toward her, when it was close enough to her. She then cut me 2 times on my ring finger because she wasn't looking at what she was doing and talking to people, once underneath my index finger and once on my thumb and didn't apologize at all. She then gave me super long square nails even though I asked 3 times for coffin shaped nails. She then yelled for someone else and he gave me the shape that I wanted. When it came time to paint my nails, she missed huge parts and was going to leave it not painted until I said something. When everything was done, I went to dry my nails and noticed that there was nail polish all over my skin around my nails and she noticed I was picking at it and came over and took it off. I went back with my mom a few days later and we both got our nails fixed. They gave me the same lady who messed up the first time and she cut me a third time in my middle finger in the same spot that she cut me a few days before and cut me once more on the other hand. When painting she, once again, missed chunks of my nails so I had to ask for someone else to fix my nails. Even when I left they looked horrible. I went back today (two weeks after getting them done because I had no time before today) and they took my acrylics off and shoved a fake nail under the acrylic and it hurt like a mo-fo. The guy threw a fit and called the manager over because he would only take it off one way and wouldn't take it off the way that I knew other people did. The manager was even rude and told me if I wanted it done a certain way I could go somewhere else (next time I will be). Tranquility is a horrible place. The employees are rude and don't care if they hurt you. Other salons will give you a discount or do it for free if you are not satisfied. All they care about is money, they should care about the people who are giving them the money. read more
