I needed to renew my tabs and visited the DMV in Santa Ana. I waited for hours before arriving to the front desk. They said that since I had a new address, I would have to wait a month before stickers were sent out. They shuffled me away quickly without answering any questions and moved on to the next customer. I came to Tran's, and was helped immediately. I was told that I could pay a small fee to receive duplciate stickers immediately - the DMV didn't even tell me that this was a viable option. Called them beforehand and explained exactly what I need to do. The guy said they can do it, cost 30$. Came - no they cannot do it. Treated me very rude! Constantly interrupt you. Guy said "you need to go to DMV for that" (I did it at another registration service no problem several times). I asked if they go to DMV at all, he said NO! Looks like any transaction they needs a DMV visit, they won't be able to do. There was ZERO clients in the office, wonder why. When I said I did it at another registration service, the guy literally said "you should go there" (he said it several times). Thanks, I will surely follow your advise! The guy treated my papers so carelessly that I thought he will tear them! Even if one cannot do a transaction that requires DMV visit - this could be explained in polite manner, which was absolutely not the case in this office! Once again I did the same transaction at another registration service several times, no issue at all. BTW, they charge you 3% of the total transaction cost if you pay by card. read more

Quan is very honest, and quick at what he does. I was referred through a mutual friend, and I never thought about using such services since I can just go directly to the DMV on an appointment. I realize it actually is much quicker especially in terms of the registration process since they send it immediately to Sacramento vs the delays of the DMV. Needed to get a car title transfer done. DMV takes about 2-3 hours with no appointment but Tran's did it for me in 12 minutes. In and out. Cost was $30 minus $5 yelp discount so $25. Absolutely unbelievable price considering the time and convenience factor. His competitors charge anywhere from $50-$80. Don't bother even shopping around for title registration services.
