Just went today and saw Jason Roy about turning in my son's Kia Forte for a new lease. Jason is an awesome guy that obviously knew his cars, and applied no pressure for the sale. I had questions about an ad that I recently came across online so Jason helped us out explaining the details. At one point he called over the store manager, Michael Tarnacki, and Michael answered a few more questions and was very friendly. We spent about an hour talking over some details for leasing a 2022 Kia Forte and came to an agreement that I was very happy with. In fact I was so happy that we decided to inquire about turning in my wifes car early and checking to see what a new lease would cost. That conversation also went to well that we signed another contract for 1 more car, a Kia Sportage. Then we decided to inquire about another Kia Forte for myself and AGAIN, the price Jason (and Michael) came up with was almost $60 per month cheaper than the best deal I could find after visiting 3 other Kia dealers around Erie County. So, we went in with some questions and within 2 hours ended up signing for 3 new leases and all way cheaper than any other dealer around. read more

I used to recommend this place for buying cars and servicing and now I feel like an idiot. I have leased 2 cars from this dealership and thought I could trust them. My second lease a 2022 Kia K5 I got a little over a year ago and I just haven't had the best of luck with it. I have gone to them for routine oil changes and tire rotations whenever the car needed to have it done. A few months ago I brought it in for my 3rd oil change and tire rotation through their service dept. They were telling me that I never got my tires rotated and my 10 month old car now needed all new tires. Little did they know, I kept all my receipts and I was charged for 2 rotations but now come to find out they never rotated them. Funny right? After going to get second opinions each mechanic I went to said that there is NO WAY they took the time to rotate. So right there I was charged money for something I didn't get. Asked to speak to the manager multiple times, never got a response so I gave up. Months go by as I unfortunately needed to go through their collision shop for a hit and run with the same car. (I had no choice because the claim was already with my insurance company) I had to wait 8 months for a part to come in, ok fine whatever. But when coming to pick up my car today, they are only open till 4:30. I unfortunately live 30 mins away and with buffalo rush hour traffic it's quite hard to get there before they close. When asking if I can be 5 mins past 4:30, it was like pulling teeth for someone to stay past that time. When asked if I can pay over the phone because I know I would be late to pick up, apparently they don't offer that. (Any other dealership/mechanic shop has done this in my experience) So I have to take MORE TIME off of work to cater to their ridiculous hours and not even open on the weekend. Like don't most people work till 5? Like how can you be accommodating to anyone when you close at 4:30? Not even a Sales team member can pull a transaction? They are all there till 7pm! I would know since Ive been there quite late buying cars and used their credit card machine. I hate to be like this since I've worked with customer relations for years but this is extremely unacceptable and does not make it easy for people paying you THOUSANDS of dollars. Do better but I will not be returning EVEN when my lease is up. read more

I have to say that I have had the worst experience with this dealership and car manufacturer. We have owned two vehicles from this dealership and the service is absolutely the terrible. Not one mechanic has a clue, I've diagnosed every issue with the car prior to bringing it in for service and they refused to believe me once, yet I've been right every time. This dealership has to ask Kia about every issue. They are not allowed to act independently at all, or at least that's their excuse. We've returned the vehicles multiple times for the same issues. They are able to fix anything, I've even stopped going back for the free oil changes because I'm afraid that they will screw that up. A+++, 5 Star dealership for both sales AND service! My family has bought at least 7 cars from Transitowne, and every time we were treated fairly and honestly. My experience with the service department is equally positive. Car is always fixed properly, and on time. On one occasion I had to leave my car overnight for a repair, and TT got me a rental. No charge. To be honest, my experience with Kia automobiles is that they are extremely reliable, so my experience with repairs is minimal. A few minor things, and a pair of wheel bearings in my 2009 Rio, which were warranty. That being said, I have talked with numerous other customers in the waiting room, and have heard 100% positive impressions of the service staff and facility. I would not hesitate to take my car there for major repair, or to recommend them to anyone. They're honest people, that means a lot to me. read more

Gave them another chance my mistake. My son needs a car ASAP so they are close and I thought we would look at their used cars. Well the price online was lower than their price list ,the car had almost 80,000 miles and damage along the passenger side of the car and on the interior door. 10,000 is a lot of money asked if they would come down and he went to see the man behind the curtain ( god that annoys me ) I would like the person I am speaking with to be able to make the deal. That aside his manager said no you would think they would come down at least 500.to know they value your business. My husband loves Kia's but we would NEVER get one from here made that mistake 4 years ago! I should thank them because we made a better deal elsewhere. Look around people much nicer and more reasonable places out there! read more

The service department is an absolute joke, the two female manager and assistant managers should be fired because they are horrible at their jobs and scammers. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO BE SERVICED. They tried blaming something they did on me and charging me for it yet after proving them wrong and after a long fight it was fixed and of course they tried to get me to pay for it which I won. The work on the vehicle they did for me was so horrendous that I had to take my vehicle to Northtown Kia to be done correctly after speaking to corporate and filing a formal complaint. STAY AWAY. They NEVER answer your calls or return them. I literally would have to drive there to find out what was happening and as an experiment I pulled in the lot, called the service department and no answer. I then walked into the service department and there were 3 people sitting at their desks and just decided they didn't want to answer the phone! Absolutely horrid experience and because of the service I will never purchase a vehicle from them again. STAW AWAY! read more

I recently bought a used car from this dealer. What a nightmare. There were a few things on the car that needed to be fixed, the hood needed to be painted, it was a platinum pearl color, instead of painting it in house they sent it out and it came back with clear coat painted over the base..no pearl...so I had to bring it back. Then I decided to have the quarter panel fixed as well because it was showing signs of rust underneath..once again, I ended up going back because the color did not match. But what really gets me? Is they told me they checked the air conditioning and changed the oil, they DID NOT. How do I know? On my way to Randolph one hot day my air was blowing warm all day!! So I took it to my boyfriend's shop and he charged the air conditioner. It worked instantly and has been ever since, that was over a month ago. Also, today..I went to change my oil, forgoing my "free oil change" due to the fact that nobody charged my air when they said they did, low and behold..It looks like the original AC DELCO oil filter that came with the car, was still on the car! The oil was BLACK ( blacker than usual 3000 mile used oil) Lord knows the last time this car has had an oil change! The best part is when I called the company the service person told me my oil was black because my car was an older vehicle and it had a 111,000 miles on it. LOL I have been around cars my whole life, I am not an idiot, it shouldn't be THAT BLACK after 3000 miles between oil changes! I had a Mazda that had a 145,000 miles on it and the oil was never that black between oil changes especially using synthetic oil. I am extremely disappointed in this dealership and it's unethical practice's. The two stars I gave you are for Scott your body guy who did a fantastic job correcting those mistakes with the paint. Thanks Scott. I tried to call the company about the issues with the air conditioner. Nobody ever called me back. So this is my rant. Like it, don't like it, I don't care. It is the truth. read more

I come here for my Kia Soul oil changes. The customer service for the service department is always great, they are very friendly and personable. You used to be able to just stop in but now appointments are required to speed up the oil change process. Sometimes it takes longer than you're told but they get the job done and I never have issues here. read more

After owning Honda products for many years, I wanted to try something different. At the recommendation of friends and family, I decided to check out Transitowne Kia. My sales consultant was Danielle and when I say she was amazing, she was just that. I tend to be a nervous kind of guy with any major purchase from cars and houses to simply switching a cable TV provider! Just the way I am wired I guess! Danielle was quick to get my nerves under control. She asked lots of questions to really understand what I was looking for in a vehicle before showing me a 2019 Kia Optima S. She takes the time to get to know you with absolutely NO high pressure sales pitch. By the time the transaction was complete, I felt like I made a new friend. The only other individual I had interaction with was Kyle in finance and he was great to work with as well! Remember those names, Danielle and Kyle. They're the ones to work with. As for the car itself, love it and I am pleasantly surprised with the Kia product being a first time purchaser of the brand. I bought my Kia Soul January 2014 with a 5 year warranty first issue I have they tell me I have to pay $125.00 out of pocket before they will run a diagnostic test and then tell me if it's covered or not ... I paid for my warranty and they won't check my car under the warranty. Take your business elsewhere what a rip off- someone from the office called me after I posted this and he sounded annoyed but I will not be shopping here again they should refund me what I paid for my warranty because it's not worth the paper it was printed on read more

The deal I got on my kia was acceptable, however, everything after that was dreadful! Service department customer service...ehhh...and getting a call for a lease pull-up after two-years of a four-year lease seemed strange so I double checked before going in to make sure that they meant to call me and I could turn my lease in half way through and I was told yes without a doubt it is a customer appreciation offer. So I drive the 45 mins to the dealership, wait 10 mins for someone to help me, I explain the situation, they say no problem let's test drive what will hopefully be your new car. I test drive the 2017 sportage and optima...liked them both...we sit down to talk numbers and the associate tells me it is too early to turn my lease in...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! I just spent 3 hours of my day with you and now I find out they can't do anything for me...thanks for making me spend 1.5 hours just driving to and from your dealership adding miles onto my current lease for no reason...beyond upset! read more

"TRUST Transitowne"???? Isn't that their motto? Trust them to do what exactly? Treat their customers like garbage? Have the stereotypical smug car salesman, such as Sergio Martinez whom is employed there, treat customers with such disrespect? Continuously try to scam customers? Wait hours for an oil change? Trust them to solely be out for a buck and not to maintain a positive reputation? Not stand by the vehicles they sell? If THIS is what they mean by "TRUST Transitowne" then they've NAILED it! This is a poor excuse for a dealership and it shows they have no idea the meaning behind "customer service". At some point in a business's tenure, you would think that they would stop trying to scam customers to make a profit, and would want to be a legitimate and legal entity. Apparently not. While the issues I have with a vehicle I purchased from Transitowne KIA in June 2016 may not be the fault of the dealership and more of the manufacturer, the lack of customer service I received during this time is absolutely APPALLING. I'm sure if someone treated Mr. Tom Collins' (Owner) or Sergio Martinez's (New Car Sales Manager) mother, father, brother, sister, daughter, or son the way my family and I have been treated by Sergio Martinez and employees of Transitowne Kia - They wouldn't take it so lightly and mockingly as they have. I've contacted KIA directly regarding the mistreatment I experienced. In fact Sergio Martinez instructed my family to "call the Attorney General, KIA - whoever you want. It doesn't matter. Give them my number". GREAT customer service don't you think? Word of mouth advertising is much more reliable than any cheesy commercial Transitowne pays for. My Hyundai Elantra was totaled last Saturday and I had two days to find a new vehicle before my rental car coverage expired. After stopping at 2 car dealerships, West Herr and Towne Hyundai in Orchard Park, I was starting to lose hope. The sales reps could not find a car with low miles in my price range and were either trying to get me to finance longer than I wanted to or refusing to budge on their prices. Finally, I tried Transitowne Kia and Jeremy McLaughlin was the most understanding and helpful sales consultant that I have ever dealt with. He found a few cars that met my requirements and worked with me on the financing. Jeremy also took the time to test drive the cars with me and to answer any questions that I had about the condition of the brakes, tires, and info. about the warranty. Save yourself a headache and stay away from this place! Transittowne Kia sales representative Kelly Keiffer is the very definition of a sleazy used car salesman. I purchased a 2014 Kia Sedona from Transitowne Kia in January of 2018. While I am very pleased with the vehicle and highly recommend the Kia brand, I would strongly suggest buying at another dealership. Because this was a used vehicle, one of the headrests on the back row was missing. Not a big deal and a very easy fix, especially for a dealership. I contacted Mrs. Keiffer regarding this and replied that she would look into the matter. She responded the next day indicating the missing headrest was not at the dealership and that they would order a new one for me. At first I was pleased with her response, however as time went on and I received no additional update. I then followed up with Mrs. Keiffer. Over the course of the next few days I reached out to Mrs. Keiffer four separate times, each time receiving the response that the part had not arrived. It has now been over 50 days since I purchased the vehicle and not once has Mrs. Keiffer attempted to contact me regarding this issue. She has stated the part is coming from overseas however is not able to provide any estimated date of arrival. I find it absurd to believe it would take months for a dealer to obtain a part from a manufacturer. I'm sure if this part was needed in order for Kelly to make a sale it would have arrived within a week. Kelly Keiffer has proven to be not only a terrible representation of Transittowne but also an extremely dishonest individual. I would advise anyone in the market for a new vehicle to steer clear for Transittowne and Kelly Keiffer! read more

Recently had my Ram 1500 in their body shop for repairs.. Because it was going through insurance we scheduled a time for me to drop it off so the parts would be in. Because of my work schedule I dropped it off on a Tuesday evening (instead of early Wednesday) I was told the insurance company had estimated approximately 7 days for the repair. I received a call the following Monday from my insurance company saying that I shouldn't have left the truck if all the parts weren't in.. I was under the impression that all parts were ordered and in as that was the point of scheduling when I would drop it off. I called the body shop and their response was that I would be able to pick it up "at the latest Wednesday" Wednesday came around and I still hadn't heard anything so I called. I was told i couldn't pick it up until Friday. Friday then came and I was told Monday.. sure enough Monday came and I was told i couldn't pick it up until Tuesday. So this 7 day job turned into 2 WEEKS without my truck and I was stuck driving a rental. Due to daily fees with the rental company.. I am now out an extra 400+ dollars thanks to the poor service of this shop. The body shop blamed the glass company for the delay but maybe they shouldn't have paid the company up front to put the glass back in. Poor management. For your own sanity.. find another body shop. read more

If i could give them a neg star i would! first of all i got a car from here with like 60000 miles and the engine went before i got to 98000 miles. found out i had a warrenty. ended up going with tht but they was only going to pay the dealership i got it from to fixs it and to remind u i have a chevy and this is a kia dealership! clearly they didnt no wat they were doing because it took them a month to fixs the car! finally got the car back it didnt drive right at all and they allegedly test drove it when they finished fixing it! when i picked it up the starter lagged alil then it started. got it all the way home just for it to not start the next day!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!! i will never get a car fixs here ever again!! specially if the dealership says kia and i have a chevy! Now after spending 100 dallors and back n forth with the warranty people i still have to dish out money to get the car fixed correctly!! when transit town had it for a month! now im back at square one!!! still have a non running car after i had to pay ubers thats whole month to take me back and forth to work!! also had a previous issue with them when i got the car too! Horrible. My rear spoiler dislodged while driving on my forte, less than a year old. Antenna cover also loose. Took 3 weeks for them to tell me they wouldn't replace it. Was looking for a new car as my car was coming off lease. Was a Ford guy since 1967 and wanted another Fusion Ford only had Hybrids and no great deals on them. Liked the Kia Optima after researching them, great safety features standard. Dealt with another dealership for 2 visits and went the 3rd time to try to close a deal that day. My salesman was tied up with 2 customers when I went in for my appointment. Waited 20 minutes and no one in the showroom offered to help me, get me something to drink or check on how long it would take to get to see my salesman. I left and drove to Transitowne Kia. I was immediately greeted by Blake, a new salesman. Very personable and professional and made me feel welcomed. We went back and forth a bit on a deal with the sales manager/finance person Kyle. I'm pretty stubborn but we hit the right numbers that worked for me and it seemed like a good deal. Thanks to Blake for getting me what I wanted and his help in transferring my belongings from the old car to the new car. Will be back when this lease is up! read more

Dishonesty is their only policy. They will negotiate one price with you and when you show up to pick up the vehicle they will hit you with a higher price......sometimes a considerably higher price. They think that in your excitement to pick up your new car you will let the extra 20 dollars a month or so slide.....It's an extremely dishonest way of doing business but it is the business model that they adhere to. I am sure that most people fall for their dishonesty but not us. They have actually tried to pull the same stunt on my wife and I at two different locations and about 10 years apart....Old habits never die. This dishonest business model went out with the 1990's for the most part but is still practiced by Transitowne dealerships in Western NY....I would suggest purchasing your vehicle elsewhere..... read more
