I must admit we got in late to our Airbnb we order an our Trap food via Uber. Everything was delicious. Everyone was happy and my honey wings and french fries were delicious and so were my muffins.

Great food! Amazing service!! We got 6 wings and wanted two flavors when we got them they said you have to get 8 to get two flavors so they made us 4 for free! Super sweet people! Nice inside to chill out and eat. The little cheddar biscuit bites were DELICIOUS!!!!! I would go back just for those!

8 8PC WINGZ COMBO - Lemon Pepper

Our search for the best wings in Nashville continues, and our latest stop was at Trap House Wingz...and you know when there is a "z" at the end of the word, something is about to be good! We went with two wing combos, an 8 count and 12 count. Both came with Cajun fries and two zips AKA cheddar biscuits! The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and those little biscuits were fluffy and, while an odd choice, just made sense. And the chicken wing(z) themselves...fried well, in some cases, maybe a little too well but they were still tasty, meaty and hot! Both of our wings were ordered with dry rubs, while we enjoyed the seasoning, we are going to go wet next time. For the dry rub we got lemon pepper and Cajun. The Cajun had more flavor and adherence, while the lemon pepper was just okay. I dug the Cajun, so no issues with ordering those again, but the partner is going to go with a wet lemon pepper next time. Packaging is on point and on brand. Love the vibe you get before you even get to the food! Plus, they hustlers with them reviews, making sure you see that QR code as soon as you see them wings! A few things based on the menu, and I am sure they have reasons...but you can't seem to order just wings, have to be in a combo. I would probably order a wider variety if I did not have to side each order with fries. Also, what they got against blue cheese? I couldn't order that but luckily had some at home on the ready. We ordered via delivery, so can't speak to the service, but they did interact with me on social media, so they seem pretty cool! Overall, we enjoyed our wings and things from Trap House. While not the best in the city, they definitely on the rotation for when cravings for wings hit!

Trap House Wings played good tunes while I waited for my Hot Honey wing meal. The food was fresh and delicious, especially those zips!!

Supporting local is a must! I've tried them before and was pleased, but this last visit the same TLC from my first visit wasn't the same for this one. I placed the order online for pick up. I was given an estimated time the order would be ready. When I got my food, I noticed the fries seemed like they had been cooked earlier in the day. Stale and didn't seem freshly made at all. It seems like the order was just thrown together. The customer service was subpar. I'm hoping this was just an off day. If you're in the area, I do recommend you give them a try. Love the wall art and decor within the establishment. It def fits the name.

Mood: It's Wing time! Think we have found our go to wing spot in Nashville. Was really good. The sauces were everything. Must try the trap house wing sauce by itself. Service was great, friendly quality, and helpful. The art wall was a HIP HOP classic and love to see culture inside of restaurants. Kilo box 10/10: not going to lie the mini cornbread stole the show. So moist and tasty. Came with wings, burger, fries, and mini corn bread. Was stuffed! Can't believe the price. Hot lemon pepper wings 8/10: think the hot aspect made it taste like just a buffalo sauce. Not bad but not lemon pepper flavor. Will for sure make this return and try other wing sauces.

Very affordable food that doesn't disappoint Traphouse Wingz is located not too far from Fisk University It is a black owned take out that specializes in burgers and wings. I ordered the kilo box which comes with a smashed burger Cajun fries wings and zips. The wings are fried hard, not my preference but I still enjoyed the flavor The burger is juicy and salty they add a lot of mayo so if you don't like that ask to remove It. Fries are delicious For $24 this a good deal

THE KILO BURGER COMBO x honey gold wings

Wing/chicken restaurants are only as good as their sauces, and that's usually where they fall short. That is NOT the case with Trap House Wingz. The homemade ranch is amazing and the honey gold sauce I got on the wings is as good or better than expected. Other than that, the attention to detail on every aspect of the box I got is well thought out and high quality. From the burger bun fresh & nicely toasted, to the Cajun fries crispy and seasoned well. Even the sweet little cheddar muffins were tasty. My only complaint there is that I wish I was easier to try more sauces, and there needs to be descriptions for some of the made-up names. I ordered online, which was easy enough, and my food was ready at the beginning of the 30-45 time estimate given. Nashville's food scene is usually a little lackluster and very overpriced. This place is somewhere I will be making regular stops and bringing friends. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good quality, fresh food. On top of that love supporting local businesses!

They seated us on the 4th floor, next to a large open window, where we had an excellent view of the street below. My wife and I decided to split the waffle sliders: Omelet Style Eggs, Cheddar Cheese, and Bacon sandwiched between 2 pieces of Belgian Waffles. There were 2 'sliders' - which were huge! Everything was cooked to perfection. And the combination of flavors were unbelievable. We both thought they were delicious. I can't wait to try making this at home! The decor was great. The staff couldn't have been better. Service was quick and efficient. We're so glad we decided to eat here!

Our server was knowledgeable about Nashville so that was a great conversation with her. The food was mediocre - I had the avocado toast that did not have a lot of avocado but it was ok. I wanted an over easy egg but they only have scrambled eggs. My husband had scrambled eggs, potato's and bacon...again nothing special. Go for the view from the 6th floor!

It's my last night in Nashville so I want to go to a bang zoom restaurant. A few of my co workers have said to me: Mr Bill, we see every night you're going out to some amazing spots. Mind if we tag along? Sure, the rules are to keep your fork outta my plate when we sit down. Deal? The restaurant is very large, we're shown to our table. Set in the middle of the dining room and facing the bar. The bar can seat at least 25 people, the restaurant is set up for fun. To get our party started, I ordered a well crafted cocktail: Tea'd Up Old Fashioned Made with Bourbon, Black Tea and House Barrel Aged Bitters. Funky?? Oh yeah I'm with a bunch of Military Veterans and they're telling me their crazy stories. I'm sippin' my Old Fashioned and taking it all in, we need to bond over drinks and crazy things we all drank overseas. As an adult, I can appreciate my Nashville TN Old Fashioned with Black Tea. While we're talking, our waitress drops off a plate of homemade biscuits. The biscuits are fire! Buttery, flakey and moist, The Southern Steak & Oyster can make a damn good biscuit. Next, my Gumbo comes to me. The first taste I can tell this is a chef'd up dish. Better than anything I had in New Orleans. This gumbo is filled with Andouille, Crawfish, Shrimp and Fried Okra. Very flavorful indeed. My last entree in Nashville will be Fish 'N Grits. Fresh fish topped with Spicy Tasso Ham over Sweet Potato Grits and Bacon Braised Cabbage. This is a flavorful dish, the grits are very creamy and the cook on the fish was spot on. We had a great night at The Southern Steak & Oyster, it was a pleasure to dine at your restaurant.

On one visit with only a few of us there our bartender disappeared for a good 20 minutes. Upon his return he was focused on everything but the 5 of us in the place until we finally had to ask to get service. The other visit everyone helped me but the actual server. Maybe this is a staffing problem, I don't know but being stuck for 20 minutes to order another drink with my meal is not acceptable. Although they had that check in my hand in under a minute and in under another minute to process. Again, super nicer people, but kind of oblivious. 2) Now let's talk about the kitchen. And I'm adding some input from the other diners because we all sat there waiting. - flavors are great, but the salt and spice level is overboard. I had the mushroom appetizer and nearly choked/coughed to death. I like heat but this was raw spice that overpowered the dish. And the salt about made my feet swell into balloons. Such a shame because the idea is great just poor execution - deviled eggs. Pass - BBQ Shrimp, sort of like the mushrooms right profile but overpowering - gumbo. Two other people had the gumbo and when I asked they said that too is just over spiced I want to like this place, but probably my last visit unless I just come for oysters. Sorry

It was our first time visiting, and we weren't sure where to go. The security guard at the main door was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction. However, when we got upstairs, it was a different story. There was no one there to give us any direction, and we didn't see a sign stating whether we could seat ourselves. The place was a bit busy, but there was a section with about six empty tables. We chose to sit there so we could be near the fan since it was very humid yesterday. No one acknowledged that we had been seated, so when a waiter walked by to clear a table, I asked if it was okay for us to seat ourselves. He said yes, handed us menus, and walked away. No problem--I could tell it was busy and that he was running around, so I took no offense to him walking off. We waited about 10-15 minutes. No one offered us water or came over to greet us. The same waiter I had spoken to returned to our table carrying an empty pitcher, and I greeted him. In response, I got, "You know what you want?" I repeated my greeting, and he repeated his question. Mind you, he never introduced himself, so I have no clue what his name is. The only conversation we had before that was when he confirmed that we could seat ourselves. While I understand being overwhelmed or tired, I can't understand being met with such a rude disposition when I had done nothing to warrant that response. Needless to say, I didn't want someone who found greeting me to be an impossible task handling my food, so we left. He couldn't have cared less that we were leaving. He grabbed his pitcher and walked away before we did. They could have really good food and drinks, but I'll never know. My hope is that this was a one-off situation, but something tells me it's not. There's a bar on the first and fourth floors. The first floor is pretty open with minimal seating, so I'm assuming it's meant for dancing. They also have a live band set up on that floor. Lastly, thank you to the security guard. He was a tall guy with braids, and despite our brief interaction, he was the only person who made us feel welcome. Outside of that interaction, this place was disappointing.
