Super nice place, it's very big, they have like 3-4 bar areas, lots of big table and apace for large parties, a bunch of security, nice and huge restrooms, the place looks always very nice and clean, also they have a huge selection of drinks, probably the only thing that I didn't like is that is very pricey in my opinion.

Cool place! Live music, line dancing, rooftop, great service! Just a nice spot to take in the atmosphere of Nash! Excellent food too and a little more lowkey compared to some of the other places on Broadway!

This was our first pit stop kickoff for my friends birthday. She wanted to stop in and ride the mechanical bull. Please make sure to have your ID out and ready to show at the front entrance. Casual, kick back country-themed vibes, spacious bar area that serves beers, wine, whiskey, bourbon soft drinks and other spirits. Photo Ops for pics, live music and band. Nice size dance floor. Rooftop area to overlook downtown Nashville. In the back is where you find the mechanical bull ride. You must sign a waiver before getting on the Bull. $10.00 a ride. We had a blast. The handsome cowboys added the fun to this experience. .

Location is everything!! Situated on a corner right on Broadway, their balcony serves up the best view. We went upstairs on a warm Thursday night. Our server was so sweet. It wasn't busy so we received a lot of attention. We ordered a couple of appetizers and tried fun cocktails. Everything was fantastic. It was a perfect laid back evening watching the city at night.

I would say this is the best decor and venue on Broadway! They have the bull for entertainment, an incredible whiskey bar, amazing staff, cleanest bathrooms, and the coolest bar with all hanging lights over the seating. Must see!

Fun times; ok bar for drinks. My bartender seemed rushed and not personable but the drink was good. Friendly atmosphere, centrally located on Broadway street. I hung out at the mechanical bull area and attendee there was adorable, engaging and very friendly. That's what customer service is all about. Easy access, no food was the bummer for me.

This restaurant has such a nice rooftop area. The downstairs is nice too. They always have live music, just like all the other bars and restaurants downtown. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not serve food downstairs. So, upstairs we went. I normally do not call out servers with a bad attitude and/or who do not do their job well. She had a bad attitude to start. We ordered 12 chicken wings and fries. A guy brings out the wings. Fries never come. So, we told him. MacKenzie comes by and says we never said we wanted fries. We did. She was going back and forth with us. Just bring us fries. She believe she was right... Finally, the fries arrive. She sort of throwthrows them down on the table. They have llittle flavor. So, we ordered Mac and Cheese. This was better but not great. The wings were excellent. Highly recommend those. This was actually the first restaurant we ate at in Nashville. Luckily, the rest of the servers we dealt with were awesome.

$15 old fashioned. No rock glass. Served with chipped ice in an 8oz plastic cup like we are toddlers.

We were there on a Wednesday night during a pedal tavern experience. Typical Broadway ambience. Decent band. It's a bit further down the beaten path. The place was pretty empty with about only seven patrons. I love my old fashioneds so figuring that this place was called whiskey River, I would try one. Oof! I'm super embarrassed for them. The drink itself was actually pretty good but the presentation was awful. It was served with chipped ice in a plastic cup.

Full bottles of Tabasco... but you dont have anything to make it spicy.
    Sarah M.

Just a thought, if you don't want to make a drink? Just say so. When we walked in there were a handful of folks inside and the bar wasn't busy. My friend requested a "mexican candy" and was told "I dont have anything to make it spicy, so order something else." So we did. Then after dropping our drinks we noticed the two very full bottles of Tabasco... I was also unimpressed that we were charged for doubles when we didnt ask for doubles and clearly got singles. The music was nice though.

We was not eating food unless you count tequila and lemon drop shots. Love the atmosphere and we was not shoulder to shoulder they have a mechanical bull which is worth the ride. Great place

The view of the strip is great. The staff was friendly. Our server was attentive. The food was quick & hearty but the bill wasnt. Makes for a great experience.

The first Honky Tonk I visited. Great experience. Vibes here were very fun. No food in the bottom area but they do have a rooftop were you can get food. Great music. Was unfortunate that I was the only one in the bar at the time. Drinks were ok but I did notice that Honky Tonks aren't known for cocktails rather well drinks and beer.

Pretty empty early at 8p on a Wednesday night ... but the band played on. Almost felt like an intimate concert in a large venue. Drinks were surprising good too ... especially the Prickly Pear Margarita!

Is there an age limit for this place?

Yes, they had people at the door checking IDs. The atmosphere is definitely a bar, not a restaurant with a bar. I wouldn't bring kids inside.

We had a larger (10) group celebrating two birthdays and the staff handled things without breaking a sweat. We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation but it was no bother as our table was still being prepared. On that note: highly recommend a reservation, this is a popular place! Once we were seated we had the pleasure of Nichelle, a wonderful waitress. She was on top of everything we needed or wanted and we had very little wait time for her return. Great service! And the food... DELICIOUS! As you can imagine, our group of ten had a good selection across the menu and there was not a single person who was disappointed. Everyone loved their amazing food. What tops everything off is the atmosphere here. It's popular so, as you can imagine, it's a bit noisy. However, I like to call it "lively". And they really nailed the physical design, so inviting and upscale. I'll stop there and simply say: check this place out, it's great!

She even went out of her way to get me a drink that had fallen off the menu a few weeks prior, a delightful cucumber spritz. The ambiance is awesome. As others have said, music isn't too loud, just pleasant in the background, so it would be ideal for having a conversation. The space is open, bright, light-filled, and stylish. Parking is in a private lot behind the restaurant and they validate parking for up to two and a half hours. I wish I could rave the same way about the food. While the cocktails were refreshing and they had a cocktail for every palate, my steak and eggs was bland. It came out a little closer to rare than medium, but I can live with that. But I am not sure I detected a speck of salt or pepper. The steak was at least tender and the sunny side up eggs were cooked appropriately. The potatoes were dry. And I did have the wagyu meatball appetizer. It's a large portion, so easily shared amongst two or three people. Cheesy and saucy with a little spice. The focaccia could've been toasted a little more. I considered the short rib hash, but my server told me it could be salty and hit or miss (I appreciate her honesty and she 100 percent should be praised for it). I came during brunch (even on a weekday). They also serve French toast, desserts, oysters, burrata, potstickers and tuna tartare, salads, burgers and other sandwiches. If you come for lunch or dinner, you can also get grilled salmon, blackened redfish, shrimp and grits, pastas (cajun chicken, pappardelle bolognese, tortellini) as well as various cuts of steak. It's conveniently located right across from the Frist Museum and is part of the Union Station Hotel. I would try this place again for dinner, but would skip the brunch. And again, Savanna was top tier! She deserves all the flowers!

I wanted something cheaper and lighter so I grabbed a chicken plate. At ~$15 pre-tax, it certainly isn't cheap. That said, that's the cost of doing business in Nashville these days. I was deeply disappointed by the portion size. Yes, smaller chicken often times tastes better because it likely is a bit more natural than the massive birds you sometimes find. I still really didn't like how the caloric content of my meal was almost exclusively from the sides. If portion size is small, flavor has to be big. Sadly, flavor was pretty mid. It wasn't bad, but it's nothing special. So, this was a deeply unsatisfying meal, but it wasn't bad. That's easily a 2- or 3-star meal. Why is it 1-star? Well, I have no choice but to give it 1 star because the greedy owner/proprietor/whomever the decision maker is decided not to validate parking. I had to pay an absurd $15 extra for parking due to this restaurant's disgusting greed. So now instead of paying $15 + tax + tip for a mid-at-best chicken meal, I paid over $30. It's frankly absurd to allow reckless greed to take hold when you operate in the same city as Jack Cawthon, Carey Bringle's establishments and Edley's BBQ. I'll pick one of those restaurants 10 of 10 times over giving the obnoxiously greedy Martin's BBQ another try.

But it was sooo good, has a nice char on the outside, and perfectly seasoned. Additionally, it sits on top of a bed of allegedly "rice" according to our server. But to me, it reminded me of a tendon brisket texture. I would've bet money on it too. But delicious with sweet peach sauce that came with it. For the prime rib, it was a huge cut of meat, but it was lacking flavor, needed some more salt and some rosemary to bring out the meat. Both main dishes can serve 2 people each, so worth the price and food. Definitely come back! And a shout out to our server Cole, who was great

The small signage made it a little difficult to find inside the Marriott (see pictures), but from the moment we walked in, heard the live piano player and saw the dining area - we knew this would be a great experience. We started off by sharing orders of Lobster Bisque (see picture) and Burrata with Toast (see pictures). We really enjoyed both of them - the Lobster Bisque was so creamy and smooth and the Burrata was cool, fresh and clean. They were a great combination to start our dinner experience and I would recommend both of them. Since it was a Friday during lent, my wife opted for the BBQ Shrimp Pasta (see picture) and I went with the Daily Fish Special on Blue Corn Grits (see picture). As we always do when we go out, we shared our plates and really enjoyed both of them. The BBQ Shrimp Pasta was rich, buttery and smooth and the Fish Special was a tasty white, flaky and blackened fish served on a bed of rich, creamy blue corn grits. Here again, both are highly recommended.
